Fantastic experience: I can thoroughly recommend Mr Waqas Tahir. I have seen him twice. The first time was for 2 fillings and today he has done an excellent repair to a chipped veneer on my front tooth. I am a nervous patient and he is very gentle and reassuring and explains what he is doing throughout the procedure. Update...I have just been for a check up and due to issues with vertigo I can't lie down and both Mr Tahir and Khadijah the hygienist were so considerate and accommodating treating me whilst I sat up. I can't thank them enough for their kindness.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service from start to finish. I’d been assaulted over the weekend knocking a cap off my front tooth and chipping another. It was very traumatic and I was still very shaken. I visited 4 different dentists in Accrington trying to get an appointment, nobody could see me until June! As soon as I entered this dentists the receptionist put me at ease and managed to get me seen just 2 hours later. The dentist and nurse did a fantastic job and my front teeth look better now than before the assault! Thank you for making me look and feel better.

Positive experience: Pleased that my six monthly check-up went well and no treatment needed. The dentist was very thorough and explained everything. One slight concern was that I didn't receive the usual teeth cleaning process, at the end of the descaling, that removes the inevitably staining that build up since the last visit. Maybe this was because I didn't receive the usual, separate, hygienist appointment, as the dentist carried this out himself.

Regarding the final polishing step, traditional polish is mildly abrasive and was commonly done after a hand scale to remove surface roughness or gross stains. However, with advancements in dental care, we now offer more effective method for deposits removal using ultra sonic scalers or for stain removal techniques, treatments such as Airflow therapy, which is a gentle yet powerful way to remove staining without abrasion. Additionally, for more persistent discoloration, we also provide professional teeth whitening options.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a big fan of the dentist especially fillings after a bad experience with my last NHS dentist but I went for a filling today and didn't feel a thing. Staff are always friendly and take the time to explain everything that the appointment consists of and I always feel at ease going to my appointments.

Fantastic experience: After struggling for a long time to find a dentist that was wheelchair accessable & as closely priced to NHS we found Accrington Dental. My husband has cerebral palsy and struggles at dentist. Dr Waqas Tahir was absolutely amazing with him, he was very patient and complete understanding. He put us both at ease. Fantastic experience: I had my Invisalign treatment carried out by Mujtaba Tahir and couldn’t be more thrilled with the result. I’ve always hated my teeth and never smiled, but now I don’t stop. Fantastic experience: I was very unhappy with my teeth as i had an accident 5 years ago and chipped my front tooth. I had temporary composite bonding after the accident and wasn’t completely happy. I asked Mujtaba what i could do to improve my smile and he recommended whitening and two composite bonding and my two front teeth. I have added pictures to show the before and after, including pictures of my chipped tooth. I am now much more confident with my teeth and my smile. Would definitely recommend as they are very reassuring and talk you through the whole process process.

I now take so many selfies smiling! The clear correct treatment was clearly explained and an easy process. Fantastic experience: Just has procedure for implant. Waqas- was calm and talked me through the process. This is the 2nd implant and between him & the nurse I received a professional treatment with advise on how to manage the next few days.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and professional staff. I take 2 young children (age 2 and 4) who were very comfortable sitting in the chair and having their teeth looked at. Very informative of what's happening and provide ample information. Very thorough clean also. All of us walked away happy and the kids loved getting new toothbrushes for behaving and ofcourse the required sticker!

Fantastic experience: I used the previous denist and since its been taken over its been a great experiance with all the staff. Had a cavity done easy quick and takes time to explain the overall health of your teeth. Highly Recommed.

Positive experience: Busy day as work being under taken on the Surgery, however, checkup explained throughly any problems explained, Hygienist very good. All is new since Mark left but I feel they are doing a good job.Missed Lesley but she was on leave.

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give 10* The best dental practice I've ever been to, and I've tried a few. I had a complicated extraction (3 of them) and I didn't feel a thing. I was always afraid of dentists and acquired a lot of issues that needed sorting. I can honestly say that, unless the doctor leaves the place, I'm not going anywhere else. EVER Thank you for the help, professionalism, attention and mental support during my visit and I'll be seeing you soon. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend this dental practice. All the staff are friendly and caring. Over the last few months I have had several dental procedures- fillings, a crown and now in the process of having a tooth implant. Waqas is amazing, he has a lovely, caring, friendly attitude. Everything is explained before and throughout the procedures. I was so nervous to make the decision to have the implant that I had a couple of visits beforehand to see Waqas who full explained the procedure and answered my concerns. I have now started the implant treatment and like previous procedures it was pain free and Waqas put me at ease as usual by explaining every he was doing throughout. If anyone has a fear of dentists I would definitely recommend they see Mr Waqas Tahir.
