Fantastic experience: Nicole reception lady is very professional and knowledgeable about the services offered at the time I attended for my son . I was informed about an event about Invisalign’s I took the opportunity as was on discounted price for a consultation and all I can say Dr Sindhuja Tummalu and Rajia khatun nurse they were amazing and very patient with me I was at ease from start to end of the whole consultation very happy patient and can’t wait to see Both Dr and nurse again soon in January 2026 made my experience very memorable and I’m thankful to both and especially Nicole /Nicola not sure if I got name right she is great asset to the practice .

Negative experience: I had appointment today with Dr Anitha Baskaran. She was too rude. I asked her about her experience about early morning as I thought it was a little difficult to come in early as it has become cold and with baby. She was quite rude n almost shouted at me for asking such question and that I shouldn't have come. Quite insulting behaviour it was and my worst experience in medical history. Never have I ever seen any medical staff so rude over such lame thing.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Muhammed Khan is an outstanding dentist. He’s professional, gentle, and explains everything clearly. My treatment was quick, comfortable, and the results were excellent. Highly recommend him—five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Negative experience: I would like to report the unprofessional behaviour of 2 receptionists from MyDentist, Longbridge Road, Barking. On 30th October 2025, I had my dental check up there. The dentist in Room 7 was really nice and suggested me to go to the reception and arrange a cleaning and filling appointment. She gave me an invoice and asked me to take it to the reception. The receptionist (her name badge is Nicole) said that I can book these 2 appointments on the same day for tomorrow and pay afterwards. The next day I went back, the dentist said that the cleaning wasn't booked and I need to speak to the receptionist. This time the receptionist I spoke with is an older lady with glasses (She did not wear a name badge and all what I know is that she is white, looks at her 50s and wear glasses). I explained to her about the situation and when she double checked with Nicole, I heard that the reason that my appointment wasn't booked was because Nicole thought that these 2 appointments could be done by the same dentist, which is not the case. This lady explained to me that the cleaning appointment needs to be done by the hygienist only. It was clear that Nicole made a mistake, which is not a big deal. But I did not receive any apology from her or any other member from the team. I asked the lady at the reception if there is any possibility that I could still do the cleaning today as this appointment is missed due to their mistake. This old lady suddenly switched on and started showing her attitude by repetitively saying that 'The hygienist is not here.' She told me that I need to pay an extra fee as the invoice did not include the cleaning. But Nicole said yesterday that the amount on the invoice is the outstanding balance that I need to pay today, so I wanted to ask some questions just to clarify. She repetitively disrupted me and did not let me ask any further questions and said that she needs to go now because she has an appointment at 4. Before she left, she handed it over to Nicole and said that she can't be bothered explaining the situation to me while I am literally standing next to them. As a customer, all what I needed was a clear break down of what services that I am paying for and how much each of them is as they were not clearly specified on the invoice. I do not deserve to be treated like that. After this lady left, I asked Nicole for a break down of my invoice and why I need to pay more than the amount that she told me yesterday. She just said that she didn't know that I am paying for cleaning yesterday, without any apology for any administrative mistakes that she made yesterday. Honestly, I think these 2 receptionist need to go through a disciplinary progress for their unprofessional behaviour, especially the older lady with glasses (please find out what her name is). When I went there for the first time, the telephone was ringing for 10 minutes without anyone taking it. I heard this lady saying "Ring, ring, ring...not my problem, I got to do what I got to do.' This kind of behaviour does not only bring a negative atmosphere to the customer service team, but also significantly damages the reputation of MyDentist. It was appalling to see the customer service team with such unprofessional conduct. I hope the central office can deal with my case fairly as I do not deserve to be treated like this as a customer when I literally just asked a few questions calmly. I sincerely appreciate your support in advance.

Fantastic experience: I recently signed up with this dentist and got an appointment the following week — really easy to register and book. On the day, I met Anita and Dana who were both lovely. They took their time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood. Great communication and excellent customer service from both of them!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to this dentist for years now along with the whole family, it's always been a good dentist, I've had treatment from multiple dentists here throughout my time, however my recent new dentist Priya Kansagara has been phenomenal, she has provided a great service to me, the treatment from her is very informative, educational and done with care. Another shout out to Christian Mann for being the friendliest dentist to my three kids!

Fantastic experience: Both me and my husband have been coming to this dental practice for years, My husband (Ahmad) had an emergency appointment yesterday to have his tooth removed the dentist he saw was Bagyalakshmi Ganesh Subramanian she was very professional and patient and explained everything to my husband, also her assistant was very cheerful and kind and always makes sure that you are ok she puts you at ease, Thanks to the receptionist for getting my husband the appointment so fast

Negative experience: My wife and I are extremely disappointed by the treatment we received at your Barking practice, and we feel compelled to share our experience due to the distress it caused our family. As parents of a 15-month-old baby and eager to have him seen by a dentist to ensure there were no underlying issues. After struggling to find a practice willing to see such a young patient, we were relieved and genuinely grateful when myDentist Barking offered us an appointment on relatively short notice. Unfortunately, on the day of the appointment, we faced significant difficulty finding parking near the practice. With a restless baby and a pram in tow, we did everything we could to get there on time. Despite our best efforts, we arrived just eight minutes late. Upon arrival, we were initially asked to take a seat and wait — a request we were happy to comply with. However, shortly after, we were informed that Dr. Mahtab Nasrabadi had refused to see us due to our lateness. We explained our situation to the reception staff, hoping for understanding, especially given that this appointment was for an infant in visible discomfort. Sadly, we were met with an unyielding reference to practice policy. When I questioned the logic of asking us to sit and wait if we were already considered too late, I was told that the final decision rested solely with Dr. Nasrabadi, who chose not to see our child — despite knowing the patient in question was a distressed baby. To add insult to injury, we were then told that the next available appointment would be four weeks away. The total lack of empathy, flexibility, and basic human compassion displayed by the staff and Dr. Nasrabadi was deeply upsetting. Medical professionals have a duty of care — particularly when treating children — and that responsibility must include understanding the challenges parents face when trying to attend appointments under difficult circumstances. In this case, we were not just turned away — we were dismissed. We will not be returning to this practice. And based on this experience, we would find it difficult to recommend it to other families. We hope this feedback is taken seriously and prompts reflection on how your policies are applied and how patients — especially your youngest — are treated.

Fantastic experience: Really amazing service, above and beyond. Was helped by Dr Khan and the lovely daytime staff. Had a very urgent appointment need for my son whose front tooth was chipped and due to fly out in a few hours. They managed to book me in for an emergency appointment. Forever grateful. Fantastic experience: When I first returned to the dentist two years ago after a long break, I needed a few fillings and then I had my first hygiene appointment with Mihaela. She immediately noticed that my gums were bleeding, which is a sign of potential gum disease and so to prevent that she gave me a clear, tailored plan to help turn things around. I followed her advice closely. While there was some improvement, the bleeding persisted. So last year she recommended a deep clean to remove plaque below the gum line and we increased my appointments to every three months. After just one session, I started seeing real progress. She later refined my routine again, recommending different sizes of TePe brushes and more Gengigel. Now at two of my most recent appointments, there was no bleeding at all and the session was noticeably quicker. A great sign of how far things have come. We’re now back to six month intervals and I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received. Mihaela is absolutely amazing at what she does. She’s skilled, thorough and genuinely invested in her patients. My one piece of advice: follow everything she says. It works!

Negative experience: Had to wait over 50 minutes to get called by the dentist. We had a 09:30 appointment, but the lady who had a 09:45 appointment was called before us. Poor organisation Usually I have no issues with this dentist surgery, today was my worst experience to date. Thos would be 0 stars, bit Google wont let me save this review without any stars

Negative experience: Asked a question of “are you taking anyone right now” ofc nicer and they said yes over the phone. Went there. And they go “oh we have no appointments available” we said that’s not what we were asking as well as not what we spoke about over the phone. The receptionist was clueless. Don’t waste your time.

Negative experience: Worst Place to Ever go Worst Place to Ever go I had a big hole in my left tooth near my wisdom tooth. I attended the dentist practice in january and saw Sara Hassen. I told her the main reason why i was here. ( the big hole in my tooth) i was rebooked for the feb 2025 to have my treatment done. ( agreed treatment was to have a crown tooth put on my left side tooth and to also have my tooth hole filled in my mouth ( this was the main reason why i went) on my visits the dentist touched and done work on a few different teeth on the left and right sides. When i attended on the second visit i got a temporary crown put on. Nothing was done to the tooth with a hole. ( i found that a bit odd but did not say anything. When i got home two of my teeth were hurting and became very sensitive. I thought it would get better. My final treatment On the final day Sara put in a permanent crown. She told me the pain would get better. She told me she was finished. When i question her that i came for the hole in my tooth and why she has done nothing to that tooth. She quickly filled it in and told me she was finished. She had asked me to book in to get my right side fillings done. I told her i no longer wanted anything else done as i could see what was going on. I was spending so much money but not getting the results. On my way out i still had an appointment booked with Nikil Mehta in a few weeks time. But luckily, he had a cancellation. I got to see him the same day. When he saw me he asked me who done the filling in my tooth. I told him Sara just did it. He then went and spoke to her. He came back and said it was all fine and i could go. I did mention the pain to him. I have been in constant pain on 3 teeth she touched on the left side of my mouth. I called the practice and told them that i was in too much pain and that i wanted them to sort this out. I told them i did not want Sara to touch my teeth. They told me that i need to give her a chance to resolve the issue. Before booking in again i was told to pay another £250. I refused to pay. I was then told it was a mistake. i came bak and saw Sera. I told her why i was here. She said she would have a look. When she was examining me she was asking me what teeth she touched and what she did. Like as if i was the one that did the treatment. I was getting very angry with what she was saying. I asked her why the hole was not filled properly as i can feel a small hole and water and food goes or gets stuck there. ( she then said to me that it was a temporary filling. I could not believe this) I got up and asked her if she was taking the piss. We then spent 30 minutes going round and round in circles. I was asking her a simple question. I came to you to get the hole in my tooth filled. I stated you done a lot of stuff in my mouth, you over charged me and now you are saying it was a temporary filling and that i refused treatment. She was even lying and saying she did the filling on my second visit, which was a lie as Nikil Mheta was my proof. To me it looks as if she doesn’t know what she is doing and she is inexperienced. She was asking me what treatment she gave me like as if i am the one that carried out the treatment. This is a bit stupid don’t you think. Also after complaining about my treatment she now says that i am in credit. What a joke. I have been in constant pain since she touched my teeth. Its been over 4 weeks now. I have emailed them twice requesting a record of the full treatment given to me. they have refused to give me this so far. I have now made a compliant to the following General Dental Council GDC Dental Complaints Service (DCS) Integrated Care Board (ICB) Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) for unresolved NHS complaints. I am also looking to sue them privately no matter how much it costs if this is not sorted this week.

Negative experience: Called to enquire if they are taking in new patients and the receptionist was quite rude and condescending. As the first point of contact, I expected her to be more polite. Terrible impression.

Negative experience: I felt like the receptionists were racist. My children and I had back to back appts with the same dentist so we were asked to all go in the room together. Before leaving the room the dentist said ‘next time don’t bring the children’ to your appts. If they didn’t have appointments together then obviously I wouldn’t. I found that very rude.

Negative experience: Reception staff are rude, not helpful, always have an attitude. Called to cancel an appointment waited 40 minutes to only be hanged up on. No baby changing facilities. when the appointments are running late you get no apology. I was booked the wrong date for my appointment, they need to send confirmation of appointment straight away, so you can rectify the error. Mr Juby is lovely though, treatment with him I'm happy.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but positive experiences using mydentist. I sustained an injury to my front tooth in late 2023 which required a dental implant. I checked a few places for prices and purely went with mydentist due to the price compared to others. However, everything about the service I received so far has been nothing short of premium. My implantologist, Vinny, is top class. He really knows what he’s doing, and has a great way of explaining things to you, and saying the right things to give you the reassurance you need. Another individual I need to mention is treatment coordinator, Chetna. Always accessible, very friendly and polite. Whenever I had a request she would move things around to meet it, I felt like I was given priority status. She also always knew my preferred days for appointments without me having to mention it. My children are also registered with the same dentist, and even with them I’ve had positive experiences in all my encounters. My treatment is ongoing but I’m glad I chose mydentist. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: I recently had to change my dentist due to poor treatment at prior one, and was going to my first private practice. Honestly, the staff have been so lovely and understanding from the start! They are very good at communication, always explaining what was happening and why. Big shoutout to Dr Anitha Kommineni- she has been so wonderful and reassuring during the appointments!

Negative experience: They used to be good but not anymore, however, they open 7 days a week, that’s the only good thing about them, my wife was referred to the nightingale clinic in Plaistow to have 3 teeth extracted, the extraction was a nightmare for my wife, I gave 1 star because my dentist don’t have proper facilities to extract difficult to extract teeth, even when they referred my wife, they didn’t even tell the nightingale clinic that the treatment was paid for, it was left to me to sort things out, my wife won’t be using my dentist again and NEITHER WILL I..!!!! And another thing with this mob, they want the money upfront, as if we are going to walk out and not pay, how dare you!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: After being sent all around the houses via 111 in excruciating pain, a close friend of mine recommended this surgery for the extraction of my upper-left wisdom tooth. From the moment I called the reception they we're very kind and understanding to my situation and most importantly keen to help. They moved SWIFTLY to get me an appointment, with minimal fuss, very good explanation of what I needed, the procedure and recovery time. Fantastic experience: I saw Mihaela the hygienist who I have to say is excellent. She is very calming ,puts you at ease and is an asset to the dental practice. I am very grateful to her and really hope she stays on.

Negative experience: I started a private treatment plan with a dentist named Ushma, but the experience was far from satisfactory. The crown she fitted was extremely painful and poorly done, forcing me to seek another dentist to have it redone at my own expense. She excavated my gum too far in causing gum bleeding. The receptionist staff absolutely rude and unprofessional. Due to the awful and unprofessional service, I had to stop the treatment and requested a refund. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. Stay away from this practice.

Fantastic experience: Mihaela Maciuca is so great, came in in March with really bad bum bleeds during brushing and she put me on a targeted treatment plan and by July with a few appointments and a routine to follow my gums had stopped bleeding completely. She’s very empathetic and puts you at ease during the hard and uncomfortable appointments whilst clearly explaining to you. She has made this process as comfortable as possible.

I had severe toothache n I was registered customer when I called them to book n urgent appointment they asked me to come after 3 months as they didn’t have any appointments available and if you want to get treated come as private customer on Saturday n pay double. This is how they mug their customers.

Fantastic experience: I've been attending MyDentist for almost 10 years now, and recently decided to undergo ClearCorrect aligners treatment. The entire process was incredibly smooth, with special thanks to Anitha Kommineni and Chetna Chokshi, who supported me throughout my ClearCorrect treatment. Again, the staff were always helpful and nice, readily answered my questions, and explained everything in detail, so I was never confused. Plus, the price was cheaper here compared to other competitors I considered. It's a place I'd highly recommend for anyone considering aligners.

The service is excellent Mr Juby Philip is so professional the best dentist ever so calm gentle and always give advice. Fantastic experience: I would recommend that anyone that is scared of the hygienist should really book an appointment here. 16 months ago I was recommended by my dentist to visit the hygienist which scared the life out of me. As soon as i meet her she immediately made me feel at ease and you could tell she was there to help me. She measured my gums and they were all 4's which really scared me. She did a full clean and gave me some homework to do to help slow this down / fix the issue. She recommended different stuff to use at home and what routine i needed to do. I have been having regular check ups and cleans with her and I am pleased to say that 16 months later my gums at the top are now a 3 and the bottoms are now a 2. They are going in the right direction :-) . Don't get me wrong there are still some areas at the top that are still 4's but only a very small area which i am working extra hard on. Please make an appointment to go and see her as she can really help you and the advice she gives you please follow. It is working for me. UPDATE Had my 6 monthly check with the hygienist and I followed her instructions and what a massive improvement for me. All my tepee brushes have come down a size in all areas. Thank you Mihaela Maciuca you are amazing and again I don’t no where I would be without your help. Cant recommend her enough

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth cleaned by the hygienist Michaela today, whom I had started treatment with around 2 years ago. When I started, my teeth were in bad shape. Once I started seeing Michaela every 6 months, my mouth has improved dramatically- my teeth are clean, my gums no longer bleed and I no longer experience any discomfort when I have my treatment. She is incredibly efficient, has strong attention to detail and consistently tailors her advice and care depending on my oral state. After having never visited the dentist since my teenage years, I now regularly come and see Michaela for oral care just because of how great she is and due to the consistent progress of my oral health. On top of that, her affable character and unwavering kindness is what has kept me continuously returning for treatment. I have seen a few hygenists over the years but she is truly the best and is the only reason I stay at this practice.

Fantastic experience: I visit Mihaela for hygiene treatments and air flows for my regular cleaning and she is very attentive and more importantly kind! The cleanings are always very thorough and the air flow gets rid of all my yellow stains. I leave the treatment room with a fresh feeling in my mouth with no more plaque and a better smile!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to my Dentist since 1996 and have seen a lot of changes some good some bad !!! But the stars of this dentist surgery are the reception staff specially Lorraine Jo and Pam who where only knee high to grasshoppers when they started . Lorraine and Jo always go out of there way to help where possible and make every patient’s time there a lovely one and if ppl like them wasn’t there I think I’d have left long ago but with there infectious charm and wit I can’t see myself leaving and finding somewhere else near to home . So would just like to thank these 2 lovely lady’s and the rest of the team for the care, understanding and the smiles that radiates from them as soon as walking through the doors till I leave .

Fantastic experience: So I haven’t been to a dentist for a while (I think 18/19 years ) and made an appointment with MyDentist. Initially I saw Mihaela and as expected my teeth were clean on the top however not so much between the edges and lower gum. On the first visit it was a normal clean above the gums which was very thorough and I can honestly say I visually saw the difference. Mihaela took care of me and explained to me what to expect. On my next visit which was a very thorough oral clean under the gums. Mihaela again was gentle but had to also be slightly brutal as there was quite a build up. I wouldn’t say it was painful, but rather slightly irritating as equipment used is a little cold so can be sensitive. Now I’ve booked again and to be honest I don’t want to see anybody else apart from Mihaela as I’m so pleased with the result and would definitely recommend to anyone. For anybody visiting for the first time or first in a very long time such as me I honestly recommend doing your homework in terms of what to expect so you put your mind at ease. Hopefully my next visit will be in 3 months time just to see everything is good. I can honestly and genuinely tell you, you are at good hands, but please don't expect it to be painful nor painless. It’s actually all good after your visit and just look after your teeth after the visit as last thing you want is to lose your teeth not looking after them. It’s the little things we take for granted! Fantastic experience: Today was my second visit to Mihaela for cleaning. Who in my opinion was very good explained the different processes and what to do going forward as I have gum issues. Mihaela is very friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: I paid £90 to get my teeth clean with a hoygenist. I was about half an hour late for the appointment due to an emergency. I have explained and sincerely apologized for being late. They still refused to see me and demanded to pay again to get another appointment. It's unjust! Please be aware this dentist

Fantastic experience: Great experience for me and the Mrs with the help of their hygienist Mihaela Maciuca. I went to see her in 2022 with bleeding teeth and was quickly advised that i needed to change my habit and to follow some stricter tooth cleaning schedules. From the first visit until a couple of weeks ago, Mihaela Maciuca has helped me reach a stage where almost all of the bleeding is gone and my teeth look and feel healthy. I am very pleased with all the hard work she has done, for me to reach this stage and for all the confidence and positivity she has always shown throughout my treatment. From seeking her every 3 months to now, every 6 months since my last visit, i am forever grateful for what she and the practice has done to help me reach the "goal" of having cleaner and healthier teeth.

Fantastic experience: I have had the best experience at this dentist, I started dental treatment last year as I was borderline gym disease and today I am now almost clear of it. I started off with very sensitive gums and bleeding gums. Now they hardly bleed and no longer inflamed Michaela has been wonderful and helped so much. My gums are so much healthier!

The first time we met I was really nervous she was so lovely and made me feel at ease straight away, she was patient and very understanding of my situation, I have a gum disease and most of my teeth were mobile, I could not have them cleaned without having injections and it was very painful. I have been seeing Mihaela now for 2 years I see her every 3 months and now my teeth and gums are much healthier and are no longer sore, the last few times I have seen her I no longer need injections to have them cleaned and my teeth are no longer mobile. Negative experience: I read the review of this practice. Some are good, Some are bad. But I gave it a goal. I turned out the bad reviews was true. Faced it yesterday myself. The dentist was very rude, pretended to be friendly in the beginning but not last long. When I asked her questions that I didn't understand, she rolled her eyes and made very big sign. Gave me the expression that she didn't want to answer anything and it waste her time for next customer. Next, I need to do Xray, I told her from the beginning that I prefer to do the X-ray from outside. (OPG). But she insist to do small X-ray film that has to insert into your mouth. She insisted many times against my wills. When she put X-ray film in my mouth, I can feel that it cut in to my under tongue area and she said to me " Its plastic, its not gonna cut you". Well, the X-ray filme was very thin brown plastic, and plastic can CUT you. Plus, I was the one that can feel that, not her! and it did create wound in my mouth. At the end, I ended up did OPG X-ray anyway. Which was easy and no pain. The dentist was behave very rude to the end but she try to hard to sell the product very hard. Feel like she is your boss that command you to follow the plan and you have to pay now as she command. At the end she want me to book with her again. Awww, bye bye. lastly, she should maintain her hygiene more. Her body smell was really bad. eakkkkkkk!!

To my surprise, I did not have to wait months for my dental appointment, which, after the situation with the pandemic, is very lucky. I am very glad that I was accepted as a patient at the MyDentist clinic and I was lucky to get an appointment with Dr. Christine Man. Dr. Man made an extremely positive impression on me from the first minute of communication. She is a very kind and friendly, highly qualified and knowledgeable doctor, an expert in her field. Dr. Christine Man has excellent communication skills and she is compassionate. During the pandemic, I had a lot of problems with my teeth and I was very worried that it would be difficult to fix them. However, after the doctor carefully examined my teeth and discussed the treatment plan with me, I knew that I was in good hands. My treatment is coming to an end and I am very pleased with the results. Dr. Man restored my front teeth and transformed my smile.
