This visit was unfortunate as there had been a mix up in my appointment time so I was not able to receive my treatment. However, the staff were very apologetic and no harm was done and I received a further appointment.

Fantastic experience: Attended yesterday for tooth ache. The whole experience was excellent! Had an injection, starting of an abscess and nerve problems. Was told to take pain relief afterwards and no pain today! I recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: After many years of having quite painful and uncomfortable scale and polish treatments, I am pleased to say I enjoyed my hygienist appointment and did not experience any discomfort. I can feel and see a considerable improvement and I appreciated the advice offered to help improve my oral hygiene going forward. The whole Team, but especially the Dentist and Dental Nurse, were very patient with my Dad who has vascular dementia. Their thoughtfulness helped to make our appointment a pleasant and relaxed experience.

Fantastic experience: The building is clean modern and Generously staffed with experienced professional and hard working employees that deliver a first class service yesterday I had 2 teeth removed and 2 new ones fitted in 40 minutes flat out the entire process went as straightforward as changing light bulbs and was about as painful as eating a pack of dorritos well pleased with the result can't thank them enough

Fantastic experience: Our grandaughter has had to have 4 teeth out before having a brace fitted due to having too many teeth!!! She is only 12 so was quite a daunting experience. The whole team made the experience go smoothly and with no negativity. Dewi and his nurse were excellent in making her feel relaxed on both visits, 2 out each time. Bearing in mind that a bad experience at her age could have resulted in lifelong issue with dentists we will be forever grateful.

Fantastic experience: Very relaxed when receiving treatment from my amazing dentist, who is so considerate and gentle she has restored my confidence in dental care after many painful experiences with male dentists when a child and younger adult. She carries with her my highest recommendation, and I did encourage a friend to join the practice pre-Coronavirus, who had previously avoided dentists for several decades. It is reassuring to know that if we are in pain, despite Coronavirus restrictions, we can still receive the necessary treatment.

Negative experience: Not at all happy that neither of us could make our 6 monthly appointment with the hygienist. We pay for denplan with the expectation that we automatically get a scale and polish every 6 months. If this is not now guaranteed then we will not be staying as patients.

Fantastic experience: I've been attending this practice for many years and have always been satisfied, I now bring my son also and our dentist is great with him! Pleasant and friendly staff, waiting times haven't been so bad considering how busy the practice must be also. I cannot complain in any sense, great dentist !!

Negative experience: AVOID. Terrible service and no customer care I agreed to £1,200 worth of dental work at Avenue dental across November/December 2022. Following this agreement I have had a total of 4 appointments out of 5 cancelled by the dental surgery. I have since been told i would be contacted to sort this out. Which the surgery has failed to do. The whole point in me coming to your dentist was to have specific work carried out and complete before Christmas. Following this agreement, where i was promised this was achievable, I have had 4 appointments cancelled which i have missed shifts at my workplace for. Meaning I am now out of pocket 4 days wage and had no dental work done. The customer service do not have any care due to being a busy surgery. They offer no help or alternative and just replace you with the next customer.

Natalie puts me at ease every time and is so precise and gentle whenever I need work doing that it is never an issue. Professional practice and all the staff are great, can’t fault it at all.

Fantastic experience: What can I say! Root canal and I have been absolutely petrified of the dentist since I was 11 years old after a very traumatic tooth extraction! Elfyn Samuel is THE best calm, reassuring and encouraging me through a lengthy treatment! Simply the best. Helen was also amazing didn’t mind a bit when I was gripping her hand she is like the equivalent of a caring midwife in dentistry! Thank you both so much for getting me through the root canal

Negative experience: Had a tooth removed a few years ago with them they fractured my jaw I’m still having problems with my jaw cos I was seeking legal action they made out I missed appointment just to remove me from there

Negative experience: Went here with broken front tooth, which they rebuilt using resin & uv light, this fell out within a week, went back had a post screwed in and rebuilt as with first time , which lasted just over two years before it broke again, leaving me with a sharp metal post sticking out of my tooth. When I phoned to request a appointment to get it fixed was told I can't get an appointment & to try 111 by a offhand & rude receptionist. Not sure how long tooth repairs should last, but for nearly £400 I expected more than just over two years.

Fantastic experience: Just want to say a massive thank you to Natalie and Lynsey who both helped me to feel a lot calmer and more relaxed on my 1st visit to this dental practice. They were both absolutely amazing and did everything they could to reassure me. I originally spoke to Lynsey on the phone when booking my appointment and she explained to me (due to covid restrictions) that they need to lock the front door after you enter the practice to prevent anybody from just walking in (obsviously to help keep us all safer re covid) . Due to myself having a phobia known as entrapment (afraid of being locked in/trapped) the lovely Lynsey explained that they have a fire exit and windows that open wide. She also booked my appointment on day that she is there so she can help me during my 1st visit to feel calmer. When I arrived I was already very anxious due to the unfamiliarity of the surroundings inside etc and Lynsey took me around the building to show me where fire exit is and was patient with me while I unlocked/locked the front door (to prove to myself I won't get locked/trapped inside) In the dental room Natalie and Lynsey both talked to me in a calming and reassuring manner , they opened the window for me and by the time I was leaving I felt so much more relaxed and calmer, that I am now actually looking forward to my 2nd visit to this dental practice I am so happy that I came across the Avenue Dental Practice and I am so grateful that I had 2 x women like Natalie and Lynsey there to help me on my 1st visit. Thank you lovely ladies for your patience, support and understanding. ❤
