Fantastic experience: Update 24.09.2025 from my previous review: Recently had a hygienist Maria Hussain and she was quick, efficient and did her very best 10/10 Five stars!!! She communicated well about everything and the whole process with what she'll be doing on the day. Assistant was also kind and supportive. All staff at the practice continue to be very good. Maria did a really good job and the whole process was painless overall! :D The dentist as a whole provides excellent service and continues to do so by all staff. I had a hygienist recently named Stephanie and she provides very very good advice and communicates well to address any issues. Stephanie recommended an electric tooth brush and also gave me a discount to purchase good dental products online 10/10 and fully recommend to anyone out there looking for a dentist Incredible. Dr Jagsi made me feel very calm during all appointments and completely transformed my teeth positively after years of not going to the dentist, also explained everything nice and clearly. Her team are also very efficient at sorting appointments out and assisting during the session. Highly recommend coming to this practice! 5/5 stars and incredible work of dentistry!!!

Fantastic experience: We’ve moved to Bedfordshire & were previously private patients in M Keynes. My Husband & I had no problem registering as NHS patients at Tigger, which was a pleasant surprise! We were nervous on our first visit, as it had been a while since our last dental checkup … the reception staff instantly put us at ease, and our Dentist Pas & her nurse were really lovely! We weren’t judged & were given lots of good advice on dental health. Highly recommend ….. Edit.. we’ve been with the practice over a year now & although our Dentist changed, we’re very happy with our new one the team & atmosphere are lovely. They are having to go private now, but have good plans on payments available… we’ll definitely be staying

Negative experience: Unregistered me without any warning, messages, letters or email. I’m 17 and was refused treatment, i could also not re-register as they aren’t accepting new patients.

Receptionist and dental assistant very pleasant and welcoming, and the dentist herself was very pleasant and re-assuring. The dentist diagnosed a problem tooth that had hitherto been a mystery, and gave me confidence for the follow-up treatment.

Negative experience: I had severe nerve pain, booked an emergency appointment which took 2 two weeks! to be seen by anyone by which time the nerve had died, only to be told when I got there, they can’t do anything with my tooth because I’m not in pain anymore and asked me to leave

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the delightful Dr jagsi at TiggaSmile in Bedford for a few years now and was there yesterday. She told me that it's hard to recruit colleagues for what is essentially an NHS practice. That's hard to believe. There's a lot amiss with many NHS operations these days but she and her team are exemplary. They are exceptionally pleasant, swift, efficient and provide a professional yet affordable service. Moreover Dr Jagsi understandably takes enormous pride in prioritising before profit a service that is needed and appreciated by clients whom she knows full well will never make her rich. Hats off to her and the vanishing few who are like her. If I were a dentist looking for an opportunity in which I could participate with pride then I'd be knocking on TiggaSmile's door before somebody else does. Paul Dunwell, Cambs

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for around 6 years. In that time I have always found the skill of the dentist to be extremely good. I was apprehensive on my last visit, because I was going to be seen by a dentist I had not met before. However, he was really good. Put me at ease, very thorough examination, asked lots of questions and listened to my responses and resolved my problem, painlessly. In fact all of the team are professional, helpful and friendly. Great dentist. Can't wait for them to go back to providing a full NHS service.

Fantastic experience: Visiting the dentists isn't normally my idea of fun; and still less so when I need to have a filling. However, my recent filling with Syed Hussain was so painless that, when I assumed he was less than half way through and was merely giving me a break, he surprised me by saying that it was all completed. On top of being a very considerate and pain free experience, he and the team are also very polite, professional and efficient.

I have~not been to a dentist since I was a child , so I made an appointment at Tiggasmile bedford ,I was not iooking forward to my visit but I was very surprised ,Lwas put at ease straight away and made very welcome had xray then made an appointment for next time and went back and had 18 teeth out in one go , I had false teeth fitted , Unfortunately i could not get on with them so now im going for implants and looking forward to them great team and recommend Tiggasmile to every one

Negative experience: Arrived for 1.30pm appointment today, and dentist surgery was closed. No sign on door, except to push the door hard, so I did. Nope, definitely locked. Pressed intercom. Nope no one there. Called them from the porch, greeted by a recorded message stating they're at lunch between 1pm and 2pm, so I left a message and went home. Two calls from them half an hour later (presumably after lunch) but couldn't do anything as was driving. A voicemail was left for me simply stating I was to call them to re arrange appointment. No apology, no explanation, nothing! Considering this was only my second appointment, that I am an extremely nervous patient, and that I had to drive out of county for a dentist accepting patients I was distressed and angry in equal measure. I had already waited three weeks since the first appointment so had already had much nail biting, poor sleep etc. and had really had to gear myself up for this. Considering great weight is placed on telling patients they must attend appointments, it would be kinda nice if when you get there they are actually open. Surely this practice knows when they take their lunch? What really prompted me to write this though was firstly the previously mentioned lack of apology ( she sounded completely unbothered) but also that when I called back as requested they were closed (again). It was only 4pm. Disgraceful 'service'. I have since had a reply stating I called them at 1.09. when it was actually 1.22 and that they did not hear the bell. Also that they open the door at 1.30 and I should have waited. Why is this my fault? I had an appointment for 1.30, the doors were locked and the recorded message said they were closed from 1 till 2. I could not wait in the cold for half an hour and would have no way on knowing that they open at 1. 30 since the recorded message states they are closed until 2pm. II COULD EASILY HAVE WAITED until 1.30 but presumed I had to wait till 2pm, AS THE RECORDED MESSAGE SAYS. I suggest you don't make appointments for patients during your lunchtime/ don't lock the door/ and change your recorded message to 'we re open the door at 1.30. That, and maybe don't blame patients for your poor service to them

Negative experience: Got two fillings done with an assistant who clearly had no experience and kept giggling like a child. Ended up with bruise on my cheek. Terrible dental hygienist. Kept being annoyed at me and making all short of comment about my teeth being sensitive as my gums were bleeding too much. Told me it was no full charge as could not do the full procedure due to this. A week later, receptionist kept calling as they had apparently now want me to pay full price. Very unprofessional. I had found another dentist.

Fantastic experience: As a person with dentist phobia it was very difficult for me to get to the dentist. After researching for a specialist who understands my fear, I’ve had the opportunity to meet Dr. Syed Majid Hussain. He understood my fear and he made it look easy. I’ve had 2 extractions made by him, I felt no pain, and the nurse was making sure that I don’t need to be afraid. Now I am looking forward for my next appointment! I recommend Tigga smile! Very friendly staff and very understandable with people like me!

Negative experience: “Several reminders” was sent to the wrong number not to my number !! On the day I made the appointment I’ve mentioned several times that I am not registered at this dentist! The receptionist clearly ignored what I was saying and decided to guess my number?Why didn’t she ask for my number in the first place ? Also on the day of my appointment I was told by the receptionist due to sending reminders to some wrong number I could either get a refund or another appointment booked and when I called why was I refused a refund or appointment even though the receptionist told I could! Unscrupulous dental practice !!

My first appointment she had seen myself and my 10 month old son, I explained that I’m not confident with my smile and it’s taken me a few years to get back to a dentist due to a poor experience previously. As a result of this I have a few cavities and broken teeth. She kept me calm and explained that the biggest step was walking through the door, and I’d accomplished that. Just had my second appointment and I’ve got Temporary fillings until I’m suitable for an x-ray, I was very nervous and scared and again, herself and the nurse helping made me feel so comfortable and just like we were chilling having a conversation in between each filling! She’s given me the confidence I needed and I fully trust her with all my future treatment. I won’t go anywhere else now. Thank you Tasnima and the ladies that helped on both of my appointments ❤️
