Fantastic experience: The service is very professional and client focused. You are kept fully informed and options are fully discussed. All the staff are very friendly. It all makes for a less stressful experience. It's nice having the same clinicians each time as they get to know you and there is follow up on advice offered from the previous visit especially with the hygienist.

Positive experience: I broke a tooth . I had an emergency appointment . I was expecting the tooth to be pulled during the emergency appointment but I had to come back the day after to get that done . Total cost about 450 pounds for a simple extraction with no stitches . Nice staff .

Fantastic experience: It has taken a long time (since 15 May 25) - but I have no complaints. Aneta has been excellent - caring, meticulous, not being satisfied until everything was right. She has explained what she was doing and why and has been very patient. I had been experiencing some pain; Aneta saw me this morning (14th) and alleviated much of that. The whole team, including those in reception, has also been extremely professional and friendly. I never met the technical people but it was a technician who reported being dissatisfied - about midway through the process. We had to start over again - hence the long delay. So, although I have yet to become comfortable with the denture (it’s only been 4 days) a sincere thank you from me.

Fantastic experience: Could not ask for more! Reception staff extremely friendly, accommodating & welcoming. My dentist, Olivia is extremely patient and understanding. Hygienist, Phil, was friendly, professional and honest and made me feel at ease. Dental assistants are cheery and helpful! This practice 100% puts their clients first. Evident that client care is at the top of their agenda!

Negative experience: Not as good as normal. I was phoned to tell me I could come in earlier which I was grateful for, but I don't think they told the dentist that the slot has now been filled.i was called In 25 mins late, only to find out that this appointment wasn't even held up by another patient, the dentist hadn't had a patient so I was waiting for the fun of it. Happy with treatment. Just not happy waiting an extra 25 my mins while they chat.

Although obviously there is a premium to pay for private treatment, the difference in quality of care is chalk and cheese, with both Hayley and Melanie being very thorough and professional, and resolving the issues that I previously had. Thoroughly recommended

Fantastic experience: Arrived for my six monthly check up, and waited just a couple of minutes before being examined. Thorough examination, clean bill of health and next appointment made for 12 months time. A very pleasant experience all round by very friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: As someone that suffers with anxiety disorder and has a dental phobia, I was overwhelmed with how ALL the staff were from the beginning of my dentist journey with them. I had my first root canal and they made every effort to make me feel comfortable. The root canal went so well and faster than I thought, as well has having no pain, even the next day I didn't need to use pain killers.

Negative experience: Rang 111 as suggested, they told me to call you and you are open on a Saturday, your website on Google even states you are open from 8.30 till 1.30pm. I’ve got a dental emergency and after calling 111 they advised me to contact yourself to find that you are not open Saturday, please can you update your website opening hours. I live alone and have no support network and currently having severe toothache/tooth pain and being left it seems. I am unable to travel only in Devizes area, I’ve tried self medication with home painkillers and nothing is working, my gum is inflamed and I’m vomiting a lot also. 111 keep referring me to call you. Not happy and in a lot of pain and being left

Fantastic experience: Nothing is too much trouble from the staff at Ferndale! I broke a tooth eating pizza funnily enough and was quite concerned about it as it did not look great. I called them up on a Friday morning and they got me in the same day with Dentist Dr Hayley Webb. She was a class act all the way and had it all fixed by Monday. She was kind and considerate and explained everything she was going to do. The results looking in the mirror at home are amazing considering this tooth had already been heavily filled in the past, you would never know anything happened. Last year I also saw Dr Martyn Cox who is also a leader in his field and we should be very glad that we have him and Hayley here in Devizes. The reception staff are also really lovely and the lady I spoke to on Friday morning went above an beyond and could not have beeb nicer. My only wish it that everyone in the UK had access to this level of care no matter what your income. Thank you Ferndale.

Fantastic experience: Excellent hygienist appointment with Phil Wood at Ferndale Dental! The state of art guided Biofilm therapy was used, which is a big improvement on the previous airflow system. It uses warm water rather than cold which enhances patient comfort. I would strongly recommend for any nervous or anxious patients. It also provides many benefits for long term oral health.

Positive experience: Whilst the quality of dentistry received from Olivia was okay, the organisation of the practice is a total mess. They're probably okay as a run of the mill dentist, but when spending a significant amount of money on anything cosmetic, I'd go somewhere else. Customer experience is not something they value. EDIT: since posting this review I have noticed an improvement in the practice management and way they are looking after customers, so am changing this from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding, Highly Recommend!! I lost my confidence in a lot of dental practices some years back and avoided dentists like the plague. Attended this practice for a quick check up, and the service I received was excellent from everyone, specifically Dr Hayley Webb and what I believe was her colleague Martha. Very professional, very polite and very efficient. Strongly recommend requesting for Dr Webb when attending, ended up having a filling which was quick and easy and she even took the time to fit in a Dental Hygiene during my appointment. Martha was kind enough to give me complimentary cleaning tools to floss with. They either need to be made partners of the company or have their own practice. Thank you!

Following a consultation on an impending implant and I'm now confident to have the work done after transitioning back.

Fantastic experience: This was my first experience having two implants by Dr M Cox and was nervous as to what it entailed. Dr Cox explained the procedure in layman's terms which put you at ease. Dr M Cox carried out this procedure in a caring, professional manner and virtually pain-free .

Fantastic experience: The team at Ferndale are extremely professional, will always listen to your concerns, contact you after implant treatment to see if everything is okay. Far superior to my previous dentist who tried to rip you off. I would highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and friendly, whoever you see at the clinic. Some years ago now, they dispelled my fear of dentists, and it has been the same ever since. Highly recommended. A bit expensive, but that is a given with modern dentistry.

Positive experience: I'm retired and decided to use Ferndale since I no longer feel I can rely on an NHS dentist to look after my careworn teeth. I thought that using 6 monthly hygienist treatment would help. I saw Naho 6 months ago, and although she was polite and diligent, I choaked on the water cleansing device (the seat was too inclined for me to swallow). I mentioned this to Naho this month when I went for my second treatment. She was careful to set the seat incline to suit me, and stopped routinely through the treatment for me to swallow. I felt heard and cared for this time, and would recommend Naho's treatment to anyone who feels anxious about the process.

Negative experience: Very annoyed with being told have to now go private. Had to plead to get emergency appointment told unless severe pain I would be charged as private patient. I had a severe tooth infection and “dead” tooth that has to be taken out in hospital - this did not suddenly happen so certainly feel there attention to NHS patients has been somewhat lacking

Negative experience: I had an appointment at 11, I signed in and was sat waiting for a while, it was 11:20, still hadn’t been seen, I went upto the desk to make sure I was signed in and I was, I was then told she’s running behind - I had to then wait around for a further 30 mins before I was seen too, it was a big appointment to get my aligners fitted and I just forked out 5k on them, I wasn’t told how often to change the aligners so I’ve had to google my aftercare instead. I wasn’t overly impressed.

Fantastic experience: Saw Elaine for a pretty gruelling and long scaling procedure. She is hands down the best Hygenist I’ve ever seen, patient, kind and was very good at explaining what she was doing and why. It’s on the more expensive side for a private clinic but definitely worth it for the level of customer service. The receptionist are all very helpful and the practice is very clean.

Fantastic experience: After being in excruciating pain following an NHS dental procedure, I spoke with Jackie who was brilliant to get me registered, and saw a dentist promptly. Hayley (dentist) was brilliant, and through ways of investigations held there was quickly able to identify the problem. Hayley has a great methodical way about her but also personable which means she was able to give me the information I needed to make the right decision. The initial procedure was done a few hours later and after weeks of excruciating pain, I am almost pain free. Incredibly grateful to the team. Unfortunately with my experience of NHS dentists, I won't be going back.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had hygienist and dental checkups in the last 2 weeks with Phil and Hayley. This was my second hygienist session with Phil who is a very funny guy, easy to talk to and gives very honest frank and straight forward advice on best practices. Hayley has been my dentist for 2 years now and continues to be absolutely lovely to deal with, really friendly and has an amazing ability at reassuring you and making you feel very calm and comfortable. Everyone I’ve dealt with from reception staff to dental nurses is very professional but all do everything with a real human touch and it’s just a nice place to go and I’ve never previously liked going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I didn’t go to the dentist for 7 years out of fear and was terrified to even book an appointment. I’m so thankful I did, Hayley and the team were so kind and gentle that it was easy! Even having work done was absolutely fine and I have been very looked after. Still can’t believe that I turn up without being the slightest bit nervous. It was a big decision to go private after being on the NHS for years but the best decision and worth every single penny. Can’t recommend enough!

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking the poor level of service you get. They are money grabbers, trying their best to get you to pay for private treatment when you are entitled to have it covered by the NHS. An NHS appointment booked for weeks, calling you 2 hours before the appointment to tell you that the session will have to be private. A common practice to get you to accept their astronomical fees instead of waiting for another appointment. I have already spent in excess of £5k with them. Yet they treat like a cash cow. They have done it to both myself and my wife. We both left the practice.

Fantastic experience: I have spent my life with NHS dentists. They have a tough gig, meaning they are often forced to rush. Which happened to me and put me off dentists for a long time. As my first experience of a private practice, you definitely get what you pay for. Nothing is rushed, all staff members are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much and you feel wholly seen and looked after.
