Fantastic experience: Outstanding Dentist. Welcoming, told me what needed to be done and gentle compared to most. Done a excellent job and fixed 2 problems I had not just the very painful tooth I had when I arrived. Thanks for fitting me in and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic appointment today!Im petrified of the dentist(like I’d rather give birth) but my dentist immediately put me at ease,so much so I managed having a filling(small) without any local anaesthetic and was in and out in 30 mins!I realise every appointment won’t be like today’s but I certainly won’t be dreading it as much.

Fantastic experience: I came in today for a routine appointment and the dentist Tamara was amazing, she even cleaned my teeth for me. She even remembered me from last time and was asking about my work life. Feel very comfortable coming to see her every time. Lady on reception (i forgot to get her name) was also amazing she called up to chase a referral for me which she didn’t have to do and got me an appointment.

Fantastic experience: I attended Didsbury dental lounge this week and was very impressed. I had a formal check up on Monday, the dentist was very welcoming and informative. Today I saw the hygienist who was superb. Both he and his dental nurse were fab. I generally have a fear of the dentist like many many others, although this week I have felt at ease just with the friendly staff from reception, to dentists. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Thanks guys.

Fantastic experience: This was my second visit here and it's safe to say they've both been my best visits to a dentist. Tamara, my dentist is lovely. I suffer from an extreme fear of the dentist due to a bad experience as a kid and every time I've been to the Didsbury Dental Lounge I've always felt calm. The staff are wonderful and patient with you and treat you with the up most respect. I definitely recommend coming here as when I arrive for my appointments I tend not to have my pre appointment anxiety .

Fantastic experience: Didsbury Dental is a great place. All of the staff are super friendly & polite from the minute you arrive, to when you leave. The waiting area is calming & comfortable & as an extremely nervous patient is very welcoming. My dentist Tamara is amazing! She knows about my anxiety & explains what she is doing & works with me to plan any treatment around my anxiety & nerves. Thank you for accepting me as a patient.

Fantastic experience: I am not the best person at all when it comes to a dentist visit. But since signing up to this dentist, my fears at a dentist is no longer.. On my first visit, I actually went in, in floods of tears lol as the fear set in. Olivia, the receptionist, is so friendly and welcoming, we always have little chats when im waiting to see the dentist. Tamara and Madison, who are the ones that actually see to me, are absolutely amazing!! From going in with floods of tears to now saying I don't want my next visit to be the last, until six mths time lol Tamara and Madison made me feel so at ease, with me totally surprised at the treatment I was able to let them attend to. This dentist is definitely the best dentist I've ever signed up to.

Fantastic experience: I never write reviews but this really deserves a 5 star 10 star ⭐⭐⭐ I was so nervous and upset when I walked in, but honestly Olivia is the best receptionist, did her up most best to get me an appointment as I had cracked my tooth and wanted to get it resolved asap. I suffer from mental health and I was very scared and emotional, Tamara the dentist was absolutely amazing in talking me through and taking her time to cooperate with my anxiety. She cleaned my teeth and filled in the crack and I can't even tell it was ever there. I ab asolutely loved my experience and can't wait to see them again ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Each visit I receive a warm and friendly welcome and able to ask for any advice knowing I will get an honest answer and not been spoken down to like some dentist or doctors seem to do. There’s been a couple of changes since my last post and my review still stands, all the staff are amazing and really helpful and go out of their way to accommodate me which I appreciate enormously.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment today to replace a bit of an old filling. I am an extremely nervous patient with a phobia of injections. The dentist and assistant very sympathetic and supportive, and in the end the treatment was done without having to have any local anaesthesia. Also they do not pressure to go ahead with unnecessary treatments, and explore options openly without any mystery. Explained everything clearly, including explaining my x-rays to me. Very happy. I hope this dentist stays.

Fantastic experience: My husband attends the Mauldeth road branch. He is very anxious when it comes to appointments of any kind due to his PD. All the staff at Oceans make him feel comfortable and are very understanding and patient with him. It is a very clean and modern environment.

Negative experience: One star is a star too many as they continuously cancel appointments with very little notice. I have had three cancelled since June 2022. They do this via text and when you try to phone up they do not answer. It is the same reason each time - unforeseen circumstances (via an automated text message/email).

Fantastic experience: Outstanding practice. I had my first NHS appointment this morning. Very nice surroundings. Sarah the receptionist was very warm, friendly and professional. I saw Ramzam, the dentist, who was also very welcoming, professional and explained his findings and care plan in a polite and reassuring manner. The dental nurse was also fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: They have been my dentist for years now and each time I go to them they provide exceptional service. For me it’s the staff that are the highlight, from the reception to the dentist himself, they are so kind and friendly. I went there for an emergency when I had a tooth infection and although the dentist had a car accident, he still made sure that he could help me to cope with the pain and prescribe me something. This really stood out to me. I also went to the hygienist and she was so lovely and did a great job on my teeth. I do like my dentist place.

Positive experience: 2022 - I've been coming to this dentist for five or six years and it's OK. But in the last year or so, they have started to make patients fill out maybe six or seven questionnaires before all appointments. Many of these are to gather marketing data, rather than just health data. I don't think it should be necessary to do this every single time you visit. Some of the questions were inappropriate and irrelevant, such as "what would you change about your smile?" and "would you consider dermal fillers?" etc. It's really not OK to ask people this when they're attending a medical appointment and probably feeling vulnerable, it feels like you're being harassed. Also, my appointment was cancelled by text message, even though I made it six months in advance and when I took a day off work to see the hygienist, they didn't show up and not much effort was made to apologise. This used to be a very friendly practice that prioritised patient needs, but I feel it has become very commercial and a little unfriendly - I hope they can turn that around. 2018 - I had a positive and painless experience here, all the employees very warm and professional - no complaints at all.

I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist who was really quick and efficient in taking payment and sorting my details etc, followed by a fantastic appointment with Lauren the hygienist and her assistant Nyla who were both really kind and friendly and provided a really thorough, efficient yet gentle clean. Helpful and reassuring throughout. Perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! A really lovely team providing a great service from start to finish, I left feeling very happy so it’s a 10/10 from me, many thanks to all of you!

Positive experience: I was looking forward to my hygienist appointment here and hoping it would be as good as others say it is, but on arrival the building in fallowfield is a bit run down and could do with a make over outside. The interior is tired the walls and woodwork grubby and cream chairs are dirty. I used the bathroom and although it was modern it was dirty. On arrival the two receptionists were nice but they were getting confused about what forms I had to fill in then handed me an iPad to fill out questions I already filled out the day before my appointment. I was told they were running behind by 20min I was took 30mins late, I was conscious of time as I had to get back to work. The hygienist was lovey but she was a locum and so was getting used to the room and tools. She did a good clean and polish but paying £50 private I’m afraid the premises and the staff let it down. I image the one in the city centre would have been a better choice. I also don’t appreciate having to wait 30mins over my appointment because if I was 30mins late i would have been charged and lost my appointment slot. The 3 stars are for the hygienists clean and the ease of booking online. I would probably go to the city centre next time or find an alternative business

Negative experience: Expect to wait for hours before your phone call gets answered and disconnected. They also pretend they can’t hear you on the phone and disconnect. Has to be the worst dentist I have ever used in the last 60 years of my life! Rude staff and dentist that have no manners in how to talk to people. Inexperienced in all areas. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Negative experience: Waited 6 weeks for a dentist appointment and with 5 days to go, they cancelled the appointment. The reason is that the dentist is going away and they did not update their system to block the dates. Next appointment available is in two months time. Worst customer service imaginable. Even 1 star is too generous. Avoid at all costs.
