Positive experience: Not sure how enjoyable having 10 teeth extracted can be quantified! Procedure and fitting a denture all efficiently undertaken. Perhaps I’d missed it but it would have been helpful to have a pack covering post op care, do’s and don’ts,soft food diet ,cleaning gums and advice generally regarding pain relief.

Negative experience: Courteous at all times from all staff. Excellent attention from hygienists and dental staff. Everything explained and made to feel comfortable. Not so happy about length of time to get an appt for a situation that my implant needs fixing and hoped that it would have been seen to much sooner. Have had wait to have it fixed for 6/7 weeks.

Fantastic experience: I have to praise Dr Alex Garnam for her patience and professionalism I was a difficult one to deal with as I’m terrified of dentists, always been my entire life for some reasons ! I kept cancelling and going and it was not easy from her prospective to deal with me But when I actually maned up and took it out she was very good at it , with patience and care she managed to extract my wisdom tooth out without even breaking it ( when a specialist told me it would shatter on applying force to it ) I am now writing this review with a smile on my face and this practice will be my to go stop for dental needs . Best I’ve found so far , thank you again

Fantastic experience: A great visit but I wish the BUPA website would allow you to choose times when the you can book both dentist and hygienist together. As for the visit: I was put at ease as I entered the hygienist's room. Rachel showed very good knowledge and confidence as the hygienist. which means she gave indepth answers to my questions, and the session was easy; she was well supported by her assistant ( sorry, forgot the name). As usual, Andy was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He explained the xrays of my teeth when enquired. I was very impressed by the receptionist who contacted me twice to try to get my hygenist and dentist appoinents closer together in time. An excellent service by all.

They take the time to explain everything clearly, especially around my dental health and teeth whitening options, which I really appreciate. It’s reassuring to be treated by a team who are not only skilled but also genuinely kind and informative. The reception team are always welcoming, friendly, and smiley — a lovely first point of contact that really sets a positive tone for the whole visit. Fantastic experience: Superb response and treatment. Andrew Bath is a fantastic practitioner and is so skilled that even replacing a filling is not the trauma of years ago. I had broken a tooth, exposing a metal filling. The receptionists were polite and efficient and booked me to see Andrew that day where he put in a temporary filling with no pain at all. Today Andrew ‘s work was exceptional. The hygienist too was pleasant, efficient and intervened at precisely the right moment. I am very grateful to be Andrew’s patient and my daughters feel the same as they have had positive experiences too.

Fantastic experience: As like most people I'm not keen on going to the dentist but my last appointment was lovely! I hate the noise of the drill and told my dentist and he just said well we'll turn the music up I jokingly said a bit of Elvis would be nice and what did he do turned off the radio and played a good selection of Elvis I hardly noticed the drill! My dentist, his dental nurse, the hygienist and the reception staff are all lovely they all make you feel very comfortable as let's face it a visit to the dentist isn't on the top of most people's favourite things to do.

Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely fantastic visit—everything from the check-up to the filling and hygienist appointment was handled with the utmost care and professionalism. The entire team is exceptional, from the warm and welcoming receptionist to the attentive dental assistants, skilled hygienist, and, of course, the outstanding Simon Gallagher. His attention to detail, expertise, and kind approach make all the difference. I truly felt well taken care of, and the experience was far beyond my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-quality dental care!
Positive experience: The dentist did my routine check-up, and recommended a scale and polish. The following week the hygienist did the scale and polish on my teeth in the usual efficient way. She also gave me extra advice on how to use the normal toothbrush and interdental brushes. Overall I recommend Bupa Kelvin Lodge as a dentist.
