Fantastic experience: I have been attending the practice for over five years and have been impressed with the high standard of care it offers. The receptionists offer a friendly welcome so patients feel comfortable and at ease prior to receiving check-ups/ treatment. The dentists are highly approachable and efficient giving the impression that they are working with patients to identify and deal with any dental issues. I am reassured that treatment is undertaken only when necessary. The new EMS machine utilised for hygiene visits is gentler and less intrusive than traditional methods. Overall the staff make a visit to the dentist as pleasurable/ painless as it possibly can be.

Fantastic experience: After not having a dentist for many years due to pure fear , I took the plunge and went to see Mike and his wonderful team. I was a wreak on my first visit but it honestly couldn’t have gone better for me, they are all so patient and understanding. After around 9 visits , 4 of them with the hygienist , I now have a smile that I can be proud of. From going from pure fear to actually walking into the surgery with a smile on my face is a massive thing for me. Dr. Hajra is exceptionally patient, kind, and personable - the kind of dentist who instantly puts you at ease with her calm and caring nature. She provides sound advice ensuring you receive the absolute best care. It’s such a relief to have found a clinic like this in my vicinity. BRD is a practice where professionalism and genuine care go hand-in-hand. Fantastic experience: Went today for an emergency appointment. 17th july. The dental practice was amazing and very helpful. Also, communication was great with helping me get sorted. Went within 2 hours to get my tooth sorted. The dentist was lovely and explained everything that needed to be fixed. Reception staff were also very friendly when I arrived. Can honestly say 5 star treatment all round here. And wasn't as expensive as thought. Highly recommended business

Fantastic experience: Having been terrified of the dentist for years I couldn't have been made to feel more welcome and listened to from the first contact and throughout my care so far. Still a long way to go but after several weeks of treatment with Kerry I feel a bit more confident going to the dentist and can honestly say it has been as painless as it could be. Fantastic experience: Having been with this dental practice for over 18 years and received top class service from when you enter the practice to when you leave, have recently undergone a series of dental work where I can honestly say it as moved up to another level which in itself is very difficult with the standards so high, it as achieved to do it and would like to thank all the staff concerned for making my visits so comfortable.

Fantastic experience: As always the best friendliness and treatment from the minute i walked in to leaving. I had a problem with a tooth extraction done at the hospital, i saw the lovely new dentist, Dr Hajra Sarwar, so lovely and put me at ease straight away. Very professional. The best team you could ever wish for.

Fantastic experience: Overall a good experience. The practice is well run administratively, well organised and runs pretty well to time - most of my appointments started on time and none were more than a few minutes late. Cost forecasts were precise, no overruns. Staff were invariably friendly and helpful. My dentist, Dr Mike, was clearly very experienced and competent professionally and his advice re acclimatising to my new dentures was precise to the tee. In summary then, not the cheapest but no problems and good people with whom to do business.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful. Six stars! (and this is from a dentalphobic!) I was an extremely nervous patient with a phobia of dentists, who hadn't visited one in twenty years, but who needed a tooth to be extracted quite urgently. Best visit to a dentist, ever, and I'm not a young man! Everyone I saw was so friendly and helpful. Dawn the Practice Manager reassured me over the phone, Jenny on reception likewise. Mike the dentist was super supportive, and explained everything he was going to do. I needed a couple of injections, but hardly felt a thing. And when the tooth came out, still nothing. Barely even felt the pressure. Admittedly it was quite loose. And even more amazingly, I was expecting at least some pain to kick in when the anaesthetic started wearing off, but there was nothing. He is an angel in dentist form.

Fantastic experience: I found Brierfield to be a highly professional and friendly practice. Hajra is a very dedicated dentist who obviously takes great pride in caring for her patients, and the support staff are great as well. I knew I was going to need a lot of work done and was worried about the extent of it and the cost. I had a comprehensive new patient examination, and the proposed course of treatment and cost was clearly explained to me, putting my mind at rest. I think I received expert treatment with state-of-the-art equipment and I’m very happy with the results.

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely thrilled with the dental practice! From my very first phone call to the final check-up, the level of service provided here is simply outstanding. The whole team are absolutely fantastic so this review is meant for the whole practice although Mike and his assistant get a few mentions. Sorry I’m really bad with names but thank you all. Let’s start! Having worn my teeth down to next to nothing, I initially had doubts about whether composite bonding would be possible after discussions with my own dentist. However, after booking the initial assessment and meeting with Mike, talked me through my teeth conditions and gave an honest review saying he thinks it can be done but will need to have the moulds made before a full confirmation can be given. Mike and his assistant welcomed me warmly, and despite my forgettable name, they remembered our conversations throughout my numerous visits, which really made me feel valued. Mike let me know that the mock-ups would give an indication if this was possible and was honest and straight forward with his assessments. Despite these uncertainties, I decided to proceed, and Mike provided a detailed quote outlining each stage of the treatment and associated costs.(you pay for what you get done) In this case I paid for the moulds and teeth whitening at this stage. After receiving the green light following successful mould assessments, all my treatment stages were scheduled, including whitening check up appointment, to ensure my satisfaction with the colour of my teeth. The mock-up they provided showed an unreal difference in my teeth's appearance. On treatment day, I was made to feel comfortable with refreshments and great music playing in the background( I even got an offer of being DJ but with Greatest Hits on, I was happy) The team talked me through each step of the process before it happened, which helped alleviate any nerves. Mike also spent a considerable amount of time correcting my bite to ensure there would be no future issues. In conclusion, the team at Briercliffe Road Dental Practice truly goes above and beyond to make every patient's experience exceptional. I only wish I had sought their help sooner. Thanks to their expertise, my confidence is restored, and I smile more than ever. It's worth noting that the attention to detail and time spent ensuring a natural appearance sets this practice apart. I wholeheartedly recommend their services – even if just for an initial visit. Trust me, it's worth it. And just to clarify, these are definitely not "Turkey teeth"; their specialism lies in ensuring a natural and beautiful smile.

Fantastic experience: I joined Briercliffe Road Dental Practice 5 years ago as a very nervous patient. Mike and his fabulous team have been so brilliant in making my visits to the dentist become much more manageable with a lot less anxiety. I was still somewhat wary when Dawn told me they were booking me in to see Hajra, their new dentist for my 6 monthly checkup. I needn’t have worried! Hajra has the most wonderful personality and really engaged with me in a way that built trust very quickly. I am now blessed with the choice of 2 fabulous dentists and I would highly recommend Mike, Hajra, Dawn, Jenny, Caroline and the rest of the team. Not forgetting Sarah the brilliant hygienist.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is not the most enjoyable of experiences but the staff at this practice do go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Mike is ultra professional and did a great job in replacing a broken crown (which my previous dentist said would have to replaced by an implant) My only criticism is his love of Country and Western music which for a Northern soul boy like myself is not want you want to hear when you are having your teeth drilled

As a previously fairly nervous patient, I feel comfortable when visiting, and this is not least due to the welcome and friendliness of the staff, which begins as soon as you enter the reception area. Fantastic experience: I really can’t speak highly enough of the team at Briercliffe Dental. As someone who had a real phobia of dentists causing me to avoid them for 20 years until a broken tooth forced me to seek help 18 months ago. Not only was my treatment for the broken tooth absolutely painless and easy but the subsequent hygienist visits to get my gums back to health have been relaxed to the point where I feel no anxiety at all when I go and I’ve even now had some cosmetic work done.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Catherine the hygienist for a number of years, and would not go anywhere else..... Its a 5 from me......

Negative experience: I've contacted them twice now regarding the offer of a FREE 20 min consultation for dental implants, once in June 2021, When it 'wasn't being offered at the moment because of Covid' , and the price of a consultation rapidly went up as I spoke to them to £135, including necessary x-rays. I rang them today, 4 months down the line, having specifically read that they're offering 'a FREE consultation for dental impants to discuss options and COSTS' - please see screenshot taken from their website. I was told, 'Oh no, I don't think we're offering that at the moment, not if you want implants...well I'll just check ... ' I was told I could have a free general chat with the manager for general information. If I wanted a QUOTE I would need to see the dentist, and the consultation FEE was £75. They are using false advertising to get you to ring them. They should be reported to trading standards. I know exactly what I need and want doing, having had FREE consultations with two other dentists, so I don't need a 'free general chat with the manager'. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to coming here, and had high hopes, having read all your rave reviews.

Fantastic experience: Meticulously clean and covid safe; a very pleasant team of administrators and assistants; a thorough dental hygienist and a friendly, experienced and professional dentist who says it like it is and instantly gained my trust and appreciation. UPDATE: I went a few weeks ago with 3 big problems and I was resigned to having to go for 3 or 4 weeks, but the treatment was all completed in just one day! They certainly go the extra mile to make you SMILE.

Fantastic experience: If I can compare this to an advert , this is no ordinary Dentist ..... from my initial phone call regarding their services I felt very reassured that I had chosen the right place to care for me . Having had so many traumatic encounters at Dentists they put me at my ease and their professionalism was paramount Their strict adherence to Covid measures were very reassuring and safe The receptionists and Dental Nurses , not to mention the very skilled Mike the music Maestro himself ! (The Dentist) I had a filling and an extraction all in one session and it was so quick and painless I want to go back !!! No one need be afraid of going to this Practice they were all fantastic !!!

Fantastic experience: I'm not ashamed to say I was terrified of going to the dentist and had put off going for over 12 years, which had lead to problems with my teeth. I had many sleepless nights leading up to my first appointment, but I needn't have worried. The team at BRDP are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. From the girls in reception and Dawn the manager to the lovely dental nurse and of course Mike the dentist, every single one of them made me feel relaxed comfortable. The level of dentistry I received was excellent and I felt no pain at all. I was made to feel relaxed throughout the procedure. I still have a few more rounds of treatment to go, but my anxiety levels about going to the dentist have now dropped by about 95%! Just wish I'd plucked up the courage to give them a call years ago.
