Fantastic experience: I visited yesterday for 3 roots to be removed following on from a tooth extraction my original dentist couldn't finish. Dr Nashawi and Nurse Karolina were first class. They explained what they were doing putting my mind at ease and talked me through it as they went along. I am not a fan of going to the dentist and thought this was going to be painful but it wasn't. Top class service from these guys. Thank you :)

Fantastic experience: After having a tooth extraction by my dentist i was referred to Bupa Dental Care Lincoln to extract my tooth root , (a specialist procedure) . Feeling nervous was an understatement . I worried for nothing..... Absolutely fantastic dentist and staff to boot, made me feel comfortable and relaxed, so professional and understanding , kind and caring explaining everything as they went along . I can honestly say i didn't experience any pain during the procedure . Can highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I attempted to obtain an emergency dental appointment this morning to be advised by the receptionist that none were available but that she would phone me if anyone cancelled. 10 minutes later I received a call to say the 1.50pm appointment had come free due to a cancellation & did I want it. I attended the Lincoln Dental Surgery & received the necessary treatment. All staff were informative & friendly but a special mention to Kerry, the receptionist who did what she said she would when someone cancelled their appointment. Thank you Kerry!

The dentist and staff are wonderful and put me at ease all the time and this experience was as pleasant as it can be under the circumstances! Fantastic experience: I recently accompanied my Mum,she's very nervous with Dentists but needed an extraction. All of the staff were lovely and very reassuring,they put her at ease straight away and talked her through everything. They didn't do anything until she was ready. I can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Called Bupa reception just after 9.15am to request appointment for a crown which had become loose. My call answered quickly & after reporting my problem was offered an appointment at lunch time, by a very friendly lady. I was seen on time by Dr Samira Bouguedoura, my dentist who fixed the crown in her usual professional manner. First class service which has been my experience at this practice for many years now.

Fantastic experience: The people here did amazing! I got referred here due to needing 2 teeth out. They were really nice and it was so much easier than I thought! I really appreciate the work they’ve done and I’ll hopefully be coming back if I need anything else! The pain has been insanely minimal considering it’s been less than 24 hours and I haven’t had any issues with the holes!

Negative experience: Terrible since Mr Bayes left I have been trying for 4 years to get an appointment but just get fobbed of with someone will ring me in the next hour its been 4 years i am now doing my own dental work with a dremel and files and have 6 or 7 teeth now need extracting which will have to do myself.

Positive experience: Hi was in a lot of pain and was the closest to where i was working, first appointment was 160 with two exrays , second was 120 when they failed to extract a tooth because anesthetic failed to work . I was referred to Melton mobery to be put under for the removal of 3 teeth at a cost of 1700 with the consultation cost , again , and would have been two journeys ! At my original consultation the other side of mouth was not looked at which is now hurting . I have changed my dentist now . 280 quid and still in pain ,avoid

Fantastic experience: Been this morning to have tooth removed. Even though I was late they still saw me. Everything explained to me about was they were going to do, not rushed. Dentist checked mouth was numb before removing tooth. Never felt a thing, after care explained. Checked I felt ok before left the room.

Fantastic experience: Recently had an appointment here after being referred by my NHS dentist. The staff were all friendly and professional, as I went into the appointment I warned the dentist I was not the best patient as I did not like going to the dentist - but they put me at ease immediately! Both the dentist & dental nurse I saw were friendly & kind. Thank you for a lovely experience

Negative experience: Tl;Dr - extraction was painful despite anaesthesia, they didn't let me keep my extracted tooth. I felt every bit of the procedure. - Hygienist only stopped my bleeding gums temporarily though it cost £50 (non-refundable as not NHS service). - they fixed a broken tooth with composite bonding. First time it only lasted 2 months. It got fixed again but only lasted another 7 months before breaking. Review: This was my dentist as a student in the years 2017-18. I was suffering with bleeding gums (which progressed onto gingivitis), a broken tooth which needed root canal, and I couldn't actually afford appointments. After being finally able to get one, they told me my broken tooth was too far gone for root canal treatment, so booked me in for an extraction. And also had to book a private hygienist for a cleaning to fix the bleeding gums. 3rd October 2017: For the extraction, they gave me an anaesthetic, yet I was able to feel everything from the extraction. It was so painful, I could feel them forcing my tooth away. Yet I didn't want then to stop, I wanted the tooth out. Then they didn't even let me keep the tooth. They didn't even offer it to me. I wanted it, as a memory, ad it was actually part of my body. 10/10/17: saw the private hygienist who I had to pay £50 to fix the bleeding gums. Yes, it did stop the bleeding but she didn't advise me how to avoid bleeding gums in the future. Sad to say, my gums eventually started bleeding again in the future. 10/10/17: I had another tooth that needed fixing by dental bonding because some of it had cracked completely off. The same dentist who did my extraction fixed it with dental bonding. However, it wasn't a very good job, the bonding broke off 2 months later. So I had to get another appointment to fix it on 08/02/2018. This bonding lasted longer, however it broke again when I was eating, in September 2018. Fortunately, I was no longer living in Lincoln. However I still couldn't get a dentist until 2022. Finally, with my new dentist, I got the bleeding gums fixed at with much better results than I had with Bupa Lincoln. She had to do it in two sessions (while in Lincoln it was only 1 session and didn't fix it for the long term). Secondly, the dentist who fixed my broken tooth with bonding was much better at her job. She fixed it over 2 years ago (it's 2024 now) and the bonding is still there. She even asked a staff member to guess which of my tooth had binding, and the staff member didn't know. Now you can't even tell that I have a composite because it looks so real and is so strong. I'm not sure why I had such a bad experience with this Dental practice. I was a student with barely any money, and had to sign up for HC2 certificate to claim money back (though not for the hygienist). £100 to fix bleeding gums temporarily is extortionate and not what I expect from a private hygienist. Attached to this review are screenshots of chats I had with friends around the time of these appointments. Also with with one chat about my new dentist in 2022.

Dentist Yusuf Mitanji took his time to explain in detail, discuss all options and explain potential issues and benefits to all options. Tooth extraction was inevitable. He was so caring and considerate. Absolute gentleman and asset to his profession. Thank you 10/10 5 star service. .

Positive experience: DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT sit on the bench in the courtyard without extensive and proper training on how to sit on the bench. This is potentially an extremely deadly procedure unless appropriate training has been completed. Which apparently only staff have completed. Attempting to sit in the courtyard and mind your own business for 10 minutes goes against an extremely strict company policy and a stroppy woman will come out telling you just how dangerous sitting minding your own business in this courtyard could be and tell you to leave immediately! Fantastic experience: Great practice. I've struggled a lot with anxiety at the dentist in the past because of a bad experience I've had before, but it was certainly not needed here. My dentist explained everything in great detail, took his time and made sure to involve me whenever I had a question. Negative experience: Great service from dentist and nurses. Receptionist didn't seem to care at all. It seems as if they are neglecting our children's availability to check ups, this will of course prove financially profitable for the organisation in the future due to any late diagnosis of problems leading to more or lengthier treatments.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this practice for what my dentist termed a difficult extraction. I arrived at The Strait a nervous wreck having had horrendous experiences in the past and dreading this one. I was put at my ease immediately by the very kind dental nurse and I can honestly say that the whole thing was painless. The tooth was a double one at the back and the dentist took seconds to pull it. By time I’d sat up in the chair the bleeding had stopped and I didn’t even need a gauze pad. Previously I’d had extractions where I came out looking like Dracula - ten minutes after this I was drinking an iced latte in a nearby cafe. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anybody but particularly if you have had bad experiences with dentists. You will be as amazed as I was that dental work could be as quick and professional Many thanks to the dentist and dental nurse Rebecca Lane

Negative experience: Called in for an emergency appointment, was told it would be £60ish to be seen, additional charge of £20 for an X-ray. All together ended up paying £122 leaving with no work done still in pain until mid December. Whats the point of calling it an emergency appointment.
