Fantastic experience: Cannot thank the staff at the Wessington branch enough. I am a brand new patient here at this dentist and I went to the branch for a new patient exam a couple of days ago. I was first greeted by Lucy at reception and also stood with her was one of the dental nurses Hannah, the girls were amazing they immediately made me feel comfortable and welcome and we all had a laugh while I was waiting for my appointment, just what I love when I go to new places I felt so relaxed. I had my appointment with Daniel and his dental nurse Dawn and I can honestly say it is the first time I have ever felt comfortable at the dentist, in the past I have never had good experiences and Dawn and Daniel were so welcoming and made me feel like they really cared. I now recommend the dentist to everyone I know and cannot thank them all enough! For once I actually look forward to going to the dentist, thanks team Wessington :)

Fantastic experience: I have been a customer of this practice for many years. Last year whilst flossing, I had the misfortune to lose half of my tooth. I consulted Bupa Wessington Dental for treatment options and decided upon an implant. The first part of this involved extraction of the damaged tooth and the immediate insertion of an implant. This was a painless procedure (I certainly expected to feel more pain). After a 6 month period of healing, the ‘tooth’ (crown) was fitted into the screw. Would I choose this option again? Absolutely. Chris Hanford was amazing, put me at ease and really knows his stuff regarding implants. All of the staff there are superb and go the extra mile. Thank you so much, from one very happy customer.

Negative experience: Took out a top level dental plan at work and was looking for a new surgery. Booked an appointment for the next slot available in their website as i was off work at for the next week. Signed up and submitted all my details. They then cancelled the appointment wanted me to pay upfront or they were cancelling. They dont trust you. Ive booked elsewhere.

Negative experience: Had a bridge and a crown placed due to infection in front tooth. Gums were swollen and even more so after tooth pulled. The dentist set permanent fittings in the same appointment. When the swelling went down I had gaps at the top of the placements which I advised on both 2 week and 6 month checks. Dentist said there wasnt gaps when placed straight after pulling a tooth so would not redo the work, but obviously due to swelling going down there would be gaps once gums returned to normal. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was really anxious about visiting the dentist but from the moment of walking in all of the staff are incredibly friendly and create a welcoming, calming and reassuring atmosphere. I had an intital meeting with Joanne who instantly put me at ease. I received hygiene treatment from Charlotte who was wonderful, talked me through each step and really explained the process. I had further much needed dental treatment with Chris and Abbie who are both wonderful humans. They made me extremely relaxed and the whole process has been plain sailing. I am beyond pleased with my results so far and cant recommend this practise enough. Thank you for restoring my confidence!

Fantastic experience: Went to my usual NHS practice, was seen by a woman who I hadn’t seen before and she was rude and unpleasant. She told me I would need to have a broken tooth removed with inadequate explanation. Went to Bupa Dental Care and had the opposite experience. Everyone was really nice. The dentist, Chris, was able to save my tooth with a composite filling. He showed me photos throughout and did a great job. Would go back!
Fantastic experience: Amazing practice! The whole team are lovely. I attended with my 10year old daughter as she needed an extraction. She saw Stephanie who was amazing with her ! And put her at ease. The nurse louise was amazing with her too! It’s the first time she had had to have any dental work done so she was very apprehensive, but she had the injection and tooth out without even realising it was done! Can’t recommended enough!

Daniel carried out the root canal treatments with care and precision, making sure I was at ease and informed throughout the process, Chris followed with the crowns and fillings, delivering excellent results. Fantastic experience: Another great visit and totally put at ease by the team. Joanne on reception gives a warm welcome and soon its thru to my dentist, Chris looks after me and explains everything in a way I can understand. Once done it's over to Kay my hygienist who gets my teeth and gums a good thorough checking over and explains what I need to be doing. All in all, what used to be a traumatic visit to my old dentist is now a very gentler experience. I'd def recommend Bupa at Wessingdon Way..A great team.

Fantastic experience: Very clean and hygienic. Staff very friendly and help to put nervous patients (like my wife!) as much at ease is possible. Useful that there are some late evening slots available for those who can’t attend during “office hours” because of work commitments
