Fantastic experience: So today I went to Bupa Dental at the Southport Churchtown practise. I was promptly seen by Stefan and Owen both very professional young individuals so pleased to be able to recommend them. They were both attentive to me which was very much appreciated it put me at ease. The whole procedure for a tooth filling was entirely down to eating a toffee last night. Was seen at 3pm today smooth operators to say the least no needle!!! If I have to return for treatment for anything else I will be sure to ask for these guys. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: I’ve had a disappointing experience with Bupa Dental Care Churchtown. I first attended an emergency appointment for severe tooth pain and was given three options, including a root canal. I chose to wait and see how things went. A few days later, when the pain continued, I called back to book the root canal treatment. After taking time off work and travelling from Leyland, I arrived to be told the appointment couldn’t go ahead because the "equipment for the root canal had been lost". I was then advised to see the dentist to “discuss the issue”, but this turned out to be another consultation with the same test and conversation I’d already had, just with a quote added. I was charged a further £75 consultation fee on top of the £115 emergency appointment, even though it was essentially the same assessment. I emailed the manager to discuss the situation, but she wasn’t interested in addressing the real issue, which was the lack of clear communication and process. When I returned for a standard check-up the following week (no problems at all with my teeth), there were more issues. The team struggled to process my Bupa claim, and the manager submitted it as a new patient exam, even though I’m not a new patient, which caused it to be declined. This meant I was initially asked to pay £60 instead of the correct £20. It took six days to get this corrected. The staff are friendly and polite, but the overall experience was disorganised and poorly communicated.

Negative experience: What are Cheshire and Merseyside NHS trust doing about commissioning new NHS Dentist's lists in Southport not a dam thing they always provide NHS Dentist's lists which are about five years out of date the UK Government and the local MPs in Southport and Centre Sefton. Have not done anything about this. We can only hope that one day the UK Government will make new Law's and anyone in the UK can get equal access to NHS Dentistry Services in UK Law we can only hope

Fantastic experience: I recently had root canal treatment at BUPA Dental Care in Southport. During my consultation appointment Stefan explained in detail the problem that I had and the chances of root canal treatment being successful. I duly arranged an appointment for the root canal treatment and was very impressed with Sefan's professionalism and skill in completing the process. I am happy to say that I no longer have any discomfort and am delighted with the outcome of the treatment. Some weeks after the procedure I received a call from Stefan enquiring how the treatment had worked.

Fantastic experience: Let down by previous NHS dentist too many times so tried this place as parents use it. Was in pain so was given urgent appointment. Needed root canal and still need a couple of fillings. Really impressed with professionalism of practice. Stefan performed my root canal and was great. Minimal discomfort, resolved the problem and followed up with after care call.

Negative experience: Took my daughter in there, been told she'd need a filling. Took her to an NHS dentist who said there was absolutely no need. Private dentists will want your money. I felt the same when I went for myself, I immediately terminated my bupa plan after that. Be extremely careful.

Fantastic experience: Just to say always make sure if your lucky enough to have 2 dentists one NHS and one private always check one with another for a better insight into the ongoing state of where your at and what you can afford because my NHS dentist 4 yrs ago or so boldly pointed out that my first dental implant was loose and needed tightening next time i visit my private dentist thanks!

Negative experience: Charged £75 for 2 minute check up she said I had to make another appointment for a clean which would be a further £95. What she did numbering and pricking my gums would have been done within my clean. Not happy. Waist of money. Spoke to manager and she said 2 minute check up is correct.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended by my own dentist that a tooth required a root canal treatment which unfortunately he was unable to carry out. I asked a few friends and did some of my own research and found Bupa Dental Care at Churchtown online. I read the reviews and decided to book a consultation. This was done the following week and from the initial warm welcome to the wonderful and reassuring treatment from Stefan, I was extremely impressed. I couldn’t fault any part of my experience and add to that the pain free treatment of my tooth which is now like new, I would definitely recommend this practice. If a root canal is what you require, don’t hesitate, Stefan is your man. Excellent service, quality treatment and very professional from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: After moving to the area and not having a dentist, I came across good reviews for this one online and made an appointment for a check up, I knew I had a bad wisdom tooth as well that needed sorting out. Had my first appointment with Stefan and he was absolutely great, made me feel very calm and talked me through the work I needed to have done (fillings and removal of a wisdom tooth). Had all fillings done with no anesthetic needed! Never had that before previously, was nervous about this but had no pain at all! Then came the removal of the wisdom tooth, thought I would be in agony after but again no pain at all! He is incredibly knowledgeable about after care and after following his instructions I have had no issues. I have always been someone who is nervy about the dentist but that is no longer the case. I fully trust what he says is right and my teeth are now all sorted out. Prices are also incredibly reasonable compared to other dentists in the area. Overall very impressed and will be continuing to be a patient here with Stefan in the future.

Fantastic experience: I recently finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr Alizeh Zaffar and I could not be happier. From the initial consultation to the final aligner, every step was clearly explained, and my questions were always answered with patience and professionalism. The aligners were comfortable, and I loved how discreet they were compared to traditional braces. The progress was noticeable week by week, and the final result has exceeded my expectations - would definitely recommend it!

After the treatment, Louise advised me the best continued care practice. I felt valued as both a customer and client.

Stefan soon settled my nerves was very calming and professional and talked me through the plan of treatment needed. Fantastic experience: Great service. Had a filling with Stefan on a Friday but as I wear a partial denture plate, found it didn't fit as comfortable after I had left. Phoned on the Monday and was promptly seen to that day by Stefan and he sorted it out. Very happy. Would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined the practice after suffering from pain in tooth, the reception staff were extremely helpful getting me signed up and booked in for an emergency appointment. The dentist Stefan was friendly and helped by fully explaining the issue and a plan to to fix the problem. He did a temp fix to take the pain away and then booked me in for a needed root canal. His friendly approach put me at ease and helped me relax for the root canal treatment which i had 4 weeks ago and everything has been perfect since - highly recommend the practice and Stefan.

Fantastic experience: Have been an NHS customer here for many years, and while struggling to keep an NHS dentist for obvious reasons,have recently had veneers of three front teeth done privately. They were very badly worn and thin and I was worried and advised about further critical damage if I didn't act. Dr Alizeh and her colleague did a great job, a marathon 3-hour non-stop treatment with some pain involved but overall very manageable.(What's a little pain at the dentist-eh?) The most pain was signing up for the £1500, paying interest free over 18 months. But very happy with the work and a spotless and very efficient practice. Thanks ladies. :-))

They care about your treatment and even follow up to check on you. I am a very nervous patient but Stedan and the team put me at ease and cured the problem quickly and with real concern. Fantastic experience: I’m a very nervous patient due to past experience with a previous dental practice many years ago. But it was time to bite the bullet, as I knew I needed treatment. I was given a recommendation through a friend. Stefan did an amazing job supported by Emily. Caring, very friendly and professional. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Rebecca for a few years now and I always find her to be a patient and understanding dentist who has always taken the time to reassure me when I have been anxious. I had a tooth extraction recently and both herself and the dental nurse attending helped me relax and stay calm during the procedure. Rebecca always takes the time to listen and explain any treatment and answer any questions. Dental nurse, Rhianne was able to explain to me,when I asked about finance options available to help cope with rising costs. Thank you also to receptionists, Lynne and Kath, for taking care of me during some anxious moments. I have been seeing Louise ( hygienist) for few years now and I must say I never thought my teeth could be so clean. Always does a great job!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Bupa Churchtown for the last few weeks. I can say they have been absolutely amazing. The staff are so friendly. And so welcoming when I visited the dentist. I hated going the dentist as I suffer with high anxiety. They had been great with me. Always checking that I was ok. Praising me. I recently got diagnosed with Trigeminal neuralgia. I informed them. And they gave me breaks in between session which I was happy with. And I was in control which gave my face time to settle. Stefan and his team I would recommend to anyone. Overall happy with my treatment as it’s coming to an end. But I no if I was ever in need of help or advise the team at Bupa would be there for me.
