Welcome to mydentist Abbey Road Parade, Wimbledon. We currently have 5 clinicians in our team who cover a variety of NHS, private and myoptions treatment plans which includes our short term orthodontics options of clearcorrect and Six Month Smiles as well as in surgery zoom whitening. We are situated in between South Wimbledon train station and Colliers Wood train station, with walking time from both stations approximately 6 minutes. We welcome all patients to our practice and ensure all individuals are treated with the upmost care and attention from our highly skilled staff. If you have any questions, please give us a call. Fantastic experience: I have to have my teeth cleaned regularly as I get a lot of plaque build up and my teeth are extremely sensitive. The dental hygienists are very kind and supportive. Ariana particularly impressed me ensuring I was ok and taking things slowly. I left with lovely clean teeth and only felt a slight bit of discomfort whereas I usually feel find the process quite traumatic. Thank you I will be back.
Fantastic experience: I had a hygienist appointment with Nina and Tasnim. They were both really lovely and friendly! Nina introduced them both, explained the process and checked in throughout the appointment. Thank you!
Negative experience: Absolutely rubbish unprofessional staff I won’t even give it one star had the worst experience ever I don’t understand how did they get five Stars unless they are relatives, or Friends no one would give even one star. And Is sad to know the managers Don’t do anything about it they pick and choose who they want to be nice to. Definitely who are going private paying for the treatment are probably Getting good service every time tried to contact managers, they are away on holidays and give false information and never give a proper response via email. Mydentist damaged my teeth in which needed to be surgically removed plus due to there unprofessional staff they left shards of broken tooth in causing me to get constant infections. Would never advise anyone to come here unless you want a broken mouth.
Fantastic experience: The Dental Practice is staffed by truly caring individuals. The reception ladies were all welcoming and smiling to patients. Millie especially showed very caring, informed and gentle approach of guiding me to steps that I should should take with my diagnosed dental issues and periodical care. My Dentist Dr Asha Magesh addressed all my concerns with concise, thorough and reassuring approach. Her expertise was truly admirable especially with number of questions that I was asking her (driven by AI searches). She did not try to minimise questions from me or rush the appointment but allowed me to be comfortable as much as possible. It truly felt more like family care than just a dental practice with decent individuals. I will definitely recommend anyone with in need of dental services. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: i had a great experience here and especially amazing service from dr Asha Magesh who was very informative, gentle, accommodating and kind. i was very nervous coming in but she resssured me and made sure i was comfortable. she also layed out all of my options for me and made sure i left happy. i must mention Ida who also contributed to this and was very welcoming and helpful along with the other staff members.

Negative experience: Zero stars without even being a patient - AVOID. I came during the week and middle of the day, and the place was empty and door locked - quite strange so came back a few hours later… door was then unlocked and I went inside, but no one was there.. I said ‘hello’ quite loudly for a few minutes, but still a ghost town so I then left. First red flag and just quite odd on numerous fronts. Went back today, and two women were at desk, but the door locked. They could see me trying to get in but looked at me blankly as if I shouldn’t be there. After I gave a few confused looks and hand gestures, one got up and did ‘1 minute’ with her finger before slowly walking upstairs, then back down again. Let me in and told me there’s no reception team hence why they didn’t let me in for ages and acted in slow-mo. No apology or acknowledgment that that was a bit odd…. Told them I was here to sign up and one gave me a form to take home and bring back tomorrow - not sure why that’s the suggestion? The woman in the head scarf also gave no eye contact or acknowledgement to me coming in or anything, and both just proceeded to gossip whilst I filled out a form. Let me be clear - DO NOT SIGN ME UP OR ENTER MY DETAILS IN YOUR SYSTEM. You as a business have no professional staff, and it’s just really a weirdly ran practice lmao why are dental nurses manning the desk but also locking people out? Why was the place empty and unlocked? I could never put my health in your hands. Hire a receptionist and have a chat with these two dental nurses who need to understand what it is to cater to a patient and make people feel comfortable in healthcare. I say this as someone who’s been in this field for over 10years. Thanks

Negative experience: I can’t express my disappointment I’ve faced every time I visit this dentist. I have had an appointment but they cancelled 4 times with a day’s notice or even an hour’s notice by the time I’ve already taken a day off.
We understand your frustration and apologise that you have experienced a number of appointment cancellations. Due to a lack of NHS dentists, we have been prioritising appointments for NHS patients who require emergency care. Regrettably, as we have a number of unfilled NHS dentist vacancies at the practice, we have had to postpone routine treatments, such as examinations, at this time.
We are hopeful that our NHS capacity will re-expand, however, we are unsure when this may be. Please be assured that our clinicians are working incredibly hard to try and accommodate as many NHS patients as possible.

Negative experience: Nobody picks up the call. I called to make an enquiry, the computer says I am on number 3 on the que, over half an hour, the que didnt move forward surprisingly! I called 3 times, every time I was on number 3 and que didnt move forward over 30 minutes time!. Even they say on their website that they are open till 7.30 pm. But I got it closed once I went there with my baby.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined here I absolutely feel like my teeth are in safe hands . The receptionist are so friendly and so informative. So my son had an appointment first his dentist was a lovely man he reassured me that my sons teeth were fine and even let my son look at his X-rays, he was very gentle. Negative experience: Terrible service, receptionist are so busy having their own socials and come across very rude. The dentists are professional but the receptionist lets the clinic down.

Negative experience: Not ideal. I had new dentures made by the dentist, Which were too be ready on the 3rd of August. on that day I told the dentist they didn't fit well at all. They still don't fit.

Negative experience: Due to traffic being diverted, my 9 year old was 5 minutes late for her appointment but we had called to let them know she was around the corner. Even though we were still within our appointment time, Paraskevi Soussi refused to see her despite the appointment being made because she was in pain. This is considering all the times previously when we have sat there waiting past our own appointment time. Really poor way to treat a child in discomfort.

Negative experience: Dentists are generally good. Receptionists are mostly chatting with each other about unrelated work matters and looking at their phones. You can hear the chatter noise upstairs. If you leave a message you don’t get a call back. I was on hold recently for 25mins and didn’t move from number 2 in the queue so gave up. Three receptionists yet very poor service.

Negative experience: I'm honestly surprised the amount of good reviews ppl have given them which makes you question whether they are genuine or not. The dentist at this practice only wants to extract make money our of the patients pocket and keep pushing them to go private. It's not that dental treatment on NHS is completely free majority pay a good sum for dental treatment. They shud be ashamed if themselves. What a disappointment dentists are these days! They need to remember it's a health treatment no5 a cosmetic treatment!

NHS has always been a payable service unless you hold an exemption, in terms of our private treatments these are separate and we do regularly assess these costs against industry costs to ensure we remain competitive.

Negative experience: Not good. Had to have a wisdom tooth out which was left so late that it had caused decay on the tooth beside it. Then had a root canal and now a crown - which I’ve been back and forth so many times about, it’s ridiculous. Moving to another dentist.

Fantastic experience: Visited the practice on the 10th January 25 to see the hygienist Nina was greeted at reception with a friendly receptionist once in with Nina she was extremely professional asked how i was made me feel relaxed (not that I was nervous) discussed if i used any interdental brushes and what colours/size the procedure was very gentle nina asked a few times if i was okay once finished she was very friendly made my experience a very pleasant one nina is one of the best hygienist i have seen at the practice

Negative experience: My daughter was booked for an appointment, took time off from.work, dragged kids in only to get a call 2 stops away that they won't see her cause she needs to wait another month. When I tried to call them back nobody answered and was on hold for over 10mins 1st in line. Not sure why they booked her in and kept sending reminders about the appointment. They're disorganized and unprofessional at every possible level.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency dentist appointment with Fatima, I avoid dentist appointments, they can be traumatic for me, due to my sensory issues etc. I could not have been made to feel more welcomed and calm. The two ladies on the front desk completely looked after me and checked in on me. I have been made to feel awful in the past by various dental staff. But I feel totally confident that I will be treated with dignity and not made to feel stupid.

I always take anesthesia when treating by dentist. Ms Nadine just said that she would do without it. I never felt pain while she was treating me. I said to her it was her charismatic treatment! Fantastic experience: Had to attend for a hygiene appt prior to having an extraction . My experience of the treatment by Layla for the hygiene was fantastic and she gave solid advice to have hygiene appts every 3 months. Then the extraction by Nadine was impeccably completed with nip pain or fuss. She also sold my Enlighten whitening which I will start once my socket has healed. Negative experience: AVOID. Rude receptionists, complete lack of regard for the patients time. I was kept in waiting an hour on one occasion with no warning & had to walk out without seeing anyone as I had to get back to work. I’ve joined a new dentist now and not returned. There’s also a general sense that they have no respect for NHS patients. On an occasion prior to my last, the dentist didn’t even recline my seat to properly inspect my teeth, wasn’t provided with glasses or a rinse and didn’t even have the decency to say “thank you, goodbye”

Negative experience: To cut a long story short, avoid this place. I have been using this outfit since they first opened, since I was registered with the previous dentists there, who were burned down, allegedly by a dissatisfied customer, rebuilt and taken over by My Dentist. All the dentists I have known over the years have disappeared. Fiona was excellent, and Shroder good on crowns. Unfortunately though, everything they touched ended up a lost tooth. Filling were falling out within a week max ! I tried to explain to them that other fillings in my mouth were done over 40 years ago, and the percelains are still there! Deaf ears, rubbish materials. With Doctor Shroder gone, I suspect the place will end up closing down, as more and more patients become aware of the miserable state of this place. Please avoid for your own good.

Negative experience: Unfortunately the staff here have the sole intention of misleading clients to force them into an appointment. I contacted mydentist as I needed a referral for wisdom tooth removal (I can only get surgery done with intravenous anaesthesia which local dentists don't do). I was informed on the phone that an appointment was £25 but this did not guarantee that I would receive a referral and this would be up to the dentist on the day. Upon arriving on the day I asked again the cost of the visit, I was informed that the appointment was £25 but further costs would depend on the treatment plan offered by the dentist. At this I was confused and I pointed out that I only needed a referral, so again I asked about the price. I was then told that the referral cost £75 and it would again, depend on whether the dentist decided I was suitable for one. I informed the receptionist that until this point, no one had told me there was a fee for the referral and she let me know that that's because there's no guarantee I'd get it. I let her know I understand that but I had been, from the outset clear that I required a referral so they should have informed me that there's no guarantee to receive a referral but if the dentist signed off on this, it would be an additional £75. I would have no problems paying this had mydentist been upfront as to the expected costs from the get go - they were not, their attitude was poor, the information they provided incomplete and misleading. I ended up going to a different private(!!) dentist in the area who did the referral for £75 and not £25+£75 which means private was cheaper than the "NHS funded appointment" I was allegedly having at mydentist. A total scam.
We are sorry to recieve your 1- star review. On consulting the practice it appears that there may have been a mis-understanding, the cost was £70.70 which is a band 2 and included the £25.80 this was not an additional cost. The only additional cost would have been if the clinician was to provide any further treatment if they felt you were not eligible for a referral.
I apologise again for the misunderstanding.

Negative experience: PLEASE AVOID THIS DENTIST. Bad experience. Went for a check-up, i was seen by a dentist who was rude and telling me off about my gums condition. I been asked to book hygiene cleaning appointment, so I went to reception and ask to book me in for Tuesday, she asked to pay deposit of £60 and £60 on the day of appointment I paid and went. Tuesday I went for my appointment same receptionist was there and told me that I mis the appointment , I surprised and said no I booked it for today she said no your appointment was yesterday (Monday). I told her how come I'm working on Mondays so I can not ask for Monday and I booked it for today (Tuesday) she said no on our system it was for Monday, I said book me other day ,there is some misunderstanding or mistake, then she ask me to a pay deposit again because they charged me a fee for not attending appointment charges, I told her why should I pay again even it's not my fault and this is your mistake, she say no you have to pay. I don't want make fuss and told her I will move all my family from them. She was so rude in all this conversation and not bother to find solution. Receptionist was extremely rude and patronizing , so I'll be more than Happy to find a new dentist !! So Please avoid this denist ..

Negative experience: I'd avoid this denist all costs, terrible customer service. I've been coming here for 2 years now and always an issue with something. Paid privately to have a filling. Fell out within 5 days, trying to get another denist to do it but they said I had to pay a check up fee of 45 pounds and then pay for the filling again. Made no effort to help me got my filling sorted. I'd highly recommend avoiding this denist and choosing another. Service is shocking!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic practice. They are always accomodating to patients' needs, I managed to get an appointment in days, even during the covid period. They are professionals, and I feel very comfortable with the hygiene measures they take. Special shout to Dr. Asha Magesh and her lovely dental assistant Wisam who has done cleaning/polish to my teeth. As a heavy smoker, coffee addict, I do this treatment consistently for years now. This has been the whitest, less painful treatment I ever received . And certainly the longest lasting.
