Fantastic experience: I was extremely nervous at the prospect of having two teeth extracted after they were irreparably damaged in a fall.. However, Dr Charro's calm and reasssuring manner together with his superb professional skills ensured that the procedure was brief and totally painless: I felt nothing more than a sensation rather like a soft toothbrush moving slowly and gently over my teeth. My follow-up treatment was similarly free of pain and anxiety, not least because Dr Charro kept me fully informed at every stage. I am very grateful for Dr Charro''s total commitment to patient care. Fantastic experience: I cannot praise Mr James enough, he is such a talented and kind dentist. I fell and chipped a front tooth, Mr James rebuilt the tooth and it’s a perfect colour match and shape, you would never know it had been damaged. Thank you so very much Mr James. 09/05/2025 Following the perfect filling. Unknown to anyone the chipped tooth healed into my top lip. My GP refused to see me and directed me to minor injuries who also refused to see me as the injury was more than 2 weeks old. My GP receptionist told me to go to A&E! I spoke with Mr Charro, who examined my lip, booked me in within 48 hours and removed ‘the lump’ which was painful, disfiguring and at risk of festering. Thank you so much Mr Charro, amazing job, caring, careful and although currently painful as the anaesthetic is wearing off, already feels better than it did. Yes, it was the chipped bit of tooth working its way deeper in. Best dentist ever!

After a lifetime of dental problems, it came to the stage that I had to face having another 7 teeth removed and 4 were in the front. I have had no problems post extraction and would like to once again thank Dr Charro and all the team. When my gums were all healed Dr Charro started the process of taking numerous detailed impressions to create my new teeth. I am so pleased with my final partial dentures ( upper and lower) they look so natural and fit so well that I forget that I am wearing dentures. I now have a smile that I can be proud of and more importantly I can eat and speak properly again. Fantastic experience: Had my wisdom tooth out yesterday. After a previous bad experience having a wisdom tooth out at another dentist I was very very nervous. Dr Charro was brilliant, I couldn't recommend him more He played music and sang away and got my tooth out in less than a minute with no pain and so far no pain after. He is very good at what he does.

Fantastic experience: I had to have a wisdom tooth extracted last week, I'm so happy that it had to be done with this dentist. I suffer anxieties, Mr Charro picked up on this and i was put at ease immediately. His easy going manner helped me through what was for me not a very good time. Before, during and after he made sure I was OK and if i needed anything. If I could rate this lovely man out of 10 for his professionalism and great manner I would of given him a 20. It's because of this dentist that i will be less anxious on my next visit.

Fantastic experience: I had an extraction with Jimmy this morning. I have a complicated medical history , multiple autoimmune diseases , adrenal failure and I take blood thinners due to 2 strokes. I have never had an extraction before and to be honest I was terrified , I was worried the stress would affect my adrenal failure and concerned about bleeding due to the blood thinners. We had a long talk before hand and I was able to ask all my questions , he was very reassuring, calm and kind. There was no rush but in fact it was all over in about 15 minutes start to finish. I was booked for a surgical extraction but Jimmy managed to carefully pull it out with no cutting of the gums which was a huge bonus. There was no pain at all. If you are nervous or frightened of the dentist I would thoroughly recommend Jimmy and his team !

Fantastic experience: I have today had one of my many check up's at Charro dental practice Rhayader. My dentist is Dr Charro himself. As an extremely anxious patient I find it very difficult to visit the dentist, but cannot speak highly enough of my treatment from everyone at this practice, but mostly the way iam treated by Dr Charro. His kindness, calmness and most of all patience with me is outstanding. I really cannot speak highly enough of him. He is thorough and very particular with his examination, but never pushing his patients into treatments they are too anxious to take, even a scale and polish in my case. Just before Christmas I had to have an emergency appointment at another dentist (I was out of the area at the time) as I had terrible toothache. It was solved temporarily, but I knew that I needed to see Jimmy to help me with the problem. An extraction was a possibility, but I had a root canal treatment and Jimmy saved the tooth! Amazing. Fantastic experience: I attended Rhayader surgery following a 111 emergency appointment. I had a tooth abccess that needed an extraction to rectify. I have had an intense fear of any dental work of any kind for many years, and Dr Charro was nothing short of incredible. He was patient, calm, and made me completely at ease. The procedure was explained in full, and I was given time to ask any questions I had. This experience has been the best dentist procedure I've ever had despite being a difficult extraction, almost pain free.
