Fantastic experience: I had a tricky high risk wisdom tooth removed by Andy, assisted by Lisa. The procedure felt quick and very little pain, I was reassured throughout which helped my nerves and made me feel at ease. All the receptionists are lovely too and also make you feel at ease. The practice is full of amazing and friendly, skilled staff. I couldn’t recommend Andy more☺️ I am very thankful❤️

Negative experience: Avoid got denied any treatment due to turning down a price and got given abuse cheek etc and this person name is amia mitchell avoid she will give u cueek then play victim avoid!!

Positive experience: Started well but too many last minute cancellations due to holidays meaning delays in service provision and ultimately not getting the service I paid for.

Negative experience: I had a tooth removed 4 weeks ago. On Tuesday morning during my volunteer shift I felt a jagged edge standing up in the gap. I phoned the reception and asked to be seen. I was told that I could come and be seen but nothing would be done. I was the offered an emergency appointment on Thursday but I would be seen but nothing would be done. I was unhappy and said “I will leave it “. I returned home and feeling that nothing would done to help me by the practice I pulled out the jagged edge and disposed of it. I had a call from the practice 30 minutes after my first call. Explaining that the dentist said it wasn’t a piece of tooth but it might have been a piece of bone. If I wanted to go in they would look at the gap but they wouldn’t do anything at that time. I said that I would leave it. As a patient of 70 year with the practice I was disappointed and felt that I was not important or valued by them.

Negative experience: Started off with a really positive experience with North Bridge throughout my two years as a patient. Quickly became increasingly disappointed as appointments with both dentists and hygienists constantly being cancelled and rearranged- not easy to work around work and childcare. Also kept being promised that an NHS dentist was being employed which would offer children’s services- this never happened. In the end, I left North Bridge as I was paying a premium for a service which was not being provided to the best of their ability.

Fantastic experience: Once again. Excellent, from receptionist to Dentist to Hygienist and assistants great customer service, friendly, plenty of good advice. Pain free service once again.

Negative experience: work seemed ok at the time, now constant pain in some of teeth that were capped plus an implant carried out at the same time as caps, nothing found in xrays that might be reason, all i know is that pain was not there before the work was carried out, , maybe in couple of years it might settle. still you expect a lot of pain for over 10k i guess. even if they offered to do the job from the start would never let them near my teeth again, money guarantees nothing. now having to seek help from a dentists in southern Ireland at great cost to myself, a pensioner of 74 years old left in pain by this practice, why would i let them try to rectify their work. 12k and living on paracetamol happy days. never really seemed to important at the time but temporary teeth that were fitted never lasted more than a few days, sometimes only one day, looking back i should have seen it was fore runner to the pain i was going to suffer in the future. just a foot note these people don't do implants they sub contract to other dentists hence your trying to deal with separate people when things go wrong with implants as did with mine. 30th of july 23, still on the paracetamol until i can get the teeth removed, can substantiate my reviews hope everyone else can, that give so many 5 start ratings. After being referred to a dentists in kelso by northbridge dental, they found so they said nothing wrong, but the cause of the pain was most likely down to not having any back teeth, this was never mentioned when the treatment was carried out, but the independent dentist they referred me to could rectifie the problem with 4 implants at an estimated extra cost of around 23.000 no guarantee of course the pain would go, incredible i am the only one having problems with these people yet they are rated 5 stars. 12/08/23 yet the end of another week and another 20+paracetamol for the pain which they say does not exist or have anything to do with their treatment even though pain was not there before they did the work. never had as much tooth ache as i have now or paid nearly 12000 pounds to get it. today 17/8/23 been referred by my local dentist to specialist in Dublin for root canal work on one of the teeth that was capped only a year ago at a further cost of 550euros. can substantiate the work with receipts. yet more to add to the ongoing saga today the 4th of September i have had the root canal done through one of the caps that was fitted only a year ago, reason all my top teeth hurt is because, as i found out today they were fitted all in one with no way to clean in-between, leaving all of the top gums inflamed, as they have been ever since the work done by north bridge, I am having to have them all removed and done separately at great cost to myself, now have the price for having my top jaw re done properly at a cost of 3500 euros so not as bad as i thought it might be, and then at least my top teeth apart from implant should at last be pain free, all fitted individually, allowing me to clean them properly, instead of all in one block as north bridge dental fitted them. all bills and treatment costs i will show once all restoration work is carried out, hope this will help other people in the future. today i am in Tokyo japan and yes i have brought my pain in teeth with me it knows no boundaries', i have not be able to start removal of the teeth that's next month, so thought i would risk the travel, instead i am buying pain killers in japan, yes can even substantiate this as well if needs be. now after a year i have tooth ache in some of lower teeth already had a root canal done in the same bottom teeth, this is now quite incredible and looking like the whole lot will have to be redone not just the top ones anymore, top ones are not a problem anymore as they fell out while asleep tonight was lucky never choked. 28th may 2025, quite dear 8k for couple of years will now need to get them done properly. now after three years all the bottom ones are also coming lose, will not forgive these people ever for the poor workmanship i received. and the loss of money.

She is the most gentle and patient dentist I have ever been to and I wish I’d known her earlier. All the staff from the receptionists, hygienist, dental nurses and of course Faye are amazing . If you have put off going to the dentist I cannot recommend this practice enough

Fantastic experience: I am extremely pleased with my treatment. I felt relaxed and comfortable and in good hands. This was my 6 monthly check up which includes a visit with the hygienist. The whole visit and treatment was relaxed comfortable and highly professional.

Fantastic experience: This was my first consultation visit. The dentist and dental nurse took plenty of time with the consultation check up and X-rays and explained the findings fully at the end of the visit. First class service from everyone.

Negative experience: I've been delighted over the years with care and attention to my teeth from Ian McInnes and feel I trust his judgement and skills with any dental difficulties I have. So sorry to see changes after Ian's retiral. Not so good experiences since then that are yet to be addressed.

Considering the amount of work that was necessary to repair considerable accidental facial damage with the final result using dentures top and bottom was exceptional. Ironically the charges incurred were certainly acceptable despite being seen at very short notice and subsequent treatment was provided at the earliest opportunity. Negative experience: Extremely disappointing and upsetting service adding further stress and trauma to an already extremely nervous and traumatised patient. A service provider who advertises various claims - all of which I did not find to be the case during my appointment.

Negative experience: We were with North St for nearly 7 years. After the practice was sold, it has gone steadily downhill. Cancelled appointments, no hygienist, wrong communications. My wife left in pain after a botched injection and filling. After more cancellations, we finally left. After sending a long and detailed letter to the practice and head office, we asked if we may receive a refund for 6 months of payments and no treatments. We received no response! Advise people to go elsewhere. It’s a shame as it was a good practice when it was independent.
