Fantastic experience: Extremely nervous patient here.I can not recommend enough!From the first contact,to sedation and extraction everybody was absolutely briliant.Mr Riaz explaning every move he was about to make with endless patiense, to Linda who made sure I didnt run away last minute:).I cant remember everybodies name unfortunately but every single person we came in contact with was just wonderful.

Fantastic experience: My son had two teeth removed yesterday. He required IV sedation because we are that family who can’t do dentists. I can’t praise this practice or its staff enough. From walking in at Reception to leaving the recovery room everyone is friendly, efficient and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend

Fantastic experience: My very anxious Daughter had two teeth extracted today. At one point it looked like the anxiety was going to take over and we were going to leave without having the procedure. Fantastic experience: My husband needed extractions and was very anxious about the procedure. We were looked after at reception by Linda who put us at ease. Jessica performed the extractions assisted by Delfi, both were super kind and took it at my husbands pace, explaining about sedation, chatting to him and keeping him relaxed throughout. We were looked after post op by Maggie who explained after care and followed up with us the next day to check on him. Fantastic experience: My 17 year old son was referred from perfect smile in Wokingham, to Reading sedation clinic. The referral took 1 week which was great. The lady dentist and her assistant, (Sorry I did not get their names), and James the anaesthetist, were all absolutely amazing. The recovery nurses were so lovely and really put my son (and me) at ease. My son had a serious phobia of dentists, hence he had to have 5 extractions. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, I cannot fault anything. The receptionist was also lovely. The whole experience has changed my sons expectations of dentists in a positive way, and I cannot thank the team enough, for their care, kindness and understanding. Fantastic experience: Thanks to all of the team who looked after my son yesterday. The reception team were very friendly and welcoming, as was the dental nurse in the room with Muddassar. Muddassar took the time to introduce himself and explained what was going to happen - he ensured that we understood and gave us the opportunity to ask any questions. Then we met James, the anaesthetist - he was chatty, calm and also made sure we knew what was going on. I left the room for what only felt like 10 mins and then was called into the recovery room, where James and the lovely recovery nurse, Maggie were looking after my son. They explained all the after care top tips and gave me information leaflets. Maggie also made sure I knew their contact number and opening hours (or 111) for follow up help, if needed. I could not fault this experience - my son even said "I was a bit nervous and I didn't know what to expect but that was actually quite fun and I wouldn't mind if I had to do it again!" Hopefully we won't need to come back again but I will definitely be recommending you to anyone else I come across, who may need your services - you were FANTASTIC! Thank you ALL so much once again for your care and kindness!

Fantastic experience: My young person was treated with kindness and understanding at all times. They were very anxious, however after lots of reassurance went through with some complex dental work. Fabulously professionally done!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Perfect Smile by my NHS dentist, after an attempted and failed procedure. I was terrified because the anaesthetic and nerve blocks hadn't worked. I found all the staff I met at Perfect Smile very reassuring and understanding. As for the procedure itself, I had sedation via a cannula and the next thing I knew, I was being woken up and told it was all done! It's exactly what I wanted and asked for and I am so grateful. I will definitely be returning as and when I need further significant treatment. Thank you so much.

He is quite anxious when it comes to dental treatments but everyone at this clinic is so professional and kind that my son forgets about the fear and anxiety. I had got myself so anxious nervous amd worked up, my daughter came to support me. From 1st moment in this dental practice I felt so relieved everyone so so lovely caring and empathetic bless them. From the minute I got in the sedation room I felt so relaxed due to the lovely staff. Pls pass on my kind thanks to everyone and last person I saw in recovery maggie. Fantastic experience: I have been going to this dentist for about 12 years I didn’t know I could write a review on here Linda the receptionist has been there all this time . One day I went I was not feeling right when I arrived I couldn’t park the car I went in and said I don’t feel right my dentist parked my car and the Doctor on that day came and saw me a ambulance was called I think we all thought I was having a stroke luckily it was Bells palsey I Have never fully recovered and they look after me so well they even got me a referral to JR Hospital Bells Palsey clinic which I still attend . So better late than never than ever this dentist is the best Linda.

Fantastic experience: An amazing experience from the Perfect Smile sedation Reading team. Carpark and back entrance is a bit shabby but does not reflect on the inside or the amazing experience that lays behind the entrance door. We were greeted by three very lovely reception ladies. This is where we first met Linda the receptionist. She took immediate interest and booked the patient in, listened intently to the complex history of the patient and his needs. (being autistic with a huge fear of dentists from having experienced some appalling treatment from other dentists, always causes a bit of an issue) His belief is that all dentists are the same. Perfect Smile Reading Sedation really have proved his fears wrong. Having gained the information needed about the patient Linda reassured the patient, in a language he could understand explained what would happen next in detail. This was not done on a patronising or belittling way but in a calm sensitive and compassionate way with clear understandings of patients needs. Unfortunately so many receptionists don’t do this. Autistic people aren’t stupid and have feelings. Linda then showed us to the waiting room. This is so important to an autistic person and if done wrong will be the start of a lot of problems, Linda then went off and briefed the dentist of the patients needs. I single out Linda for particular praise Because she was the person who made the first impression and set the scene for the visit. I am confident that the other two ladies would have done the same. But Linda undoubtably went above and beyond that was expected of her. the praise that is showered upon her is well deserved. I cannot reiterate enough how her caring understanding and professionalism turned what could have been a traumatic experience into a non-event where the patients needs were considered and he remained calm. After waiting in the waiting room for a few minutes, we were then collected by the anaesthetist who was a very pleasant lady. (Sorry I didn’t get her name). She continued the same care and professionalism that Linda had already demonstrated. We were then shown into a treatment room where we met the most amazing person you could ever want to meet. Dr Issmaeel Sohawon, not because he is a dentist, but his whole demeanour, showed a person of confidence, warm friendliness. He demonstrated the ability to show compassion , understanding and empathy. He introduced himself with a smile and a warm handshake, before the patient sat down in the chair. This is so important with someone with autism, he explained TO the patient exactly what was going to happen, not through the patient, again in a language he could understand, non judgemental or condescending, he explained how he would feel and what he was about to do to him in a language and tone that the patient could clearly understand. This is very important for autistic people and prevents an unnecessary situation when the patient doesn't understand what is about to happen and becomes distressed. I watched the patient being sedated whether the patient could see me, this gave him the confidence that everything was okay. During the sedation phase.Dr Issmaeel Sohawon spoke to the patient in a calm and warm manner that removed any fears he had as he gently dozed off to sleep. There are few words I can say about this Dental practice and the team that would truly represent what they did and do. but the ones I will use are; fantastic, amazing professional understanding, empathetic, caring and above all showing that they love their job and care about the people they treat. This visit was amazing and would have no hesitation to recommending others to attend or attend myself. One thing though a coffee machine in the waiting room while you wait for the patient would be nice . Thank you all again to the most amazing team in the dental centre I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Fantastic experience: Staff are very friendly for starters, I needed some serious work done to salvage a few too many teeth I dare say however Jerry and the team were very considerate of me and put me at ease with what needed to be done. I had all the work done despite the fears I had after a bad experience elsewhere. Couldn't have hoped for a better result, many filled, this has taken me out of the pain I was in. Unfortunately I lost a couple of teeth to removal with was necessary. I can smile again without worrying about the state of the front teeth, I can't articulate how impressive it all was in the end, I am so relieved and happy with my bite now.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely hate the dentist after a bad experience years ago…only going when I’m in agony! I was referred for sedation for a tooth extraction in slough first, when I went there I knew I couldn’t get treatment there due to the dentist / how he was (I’m a very nervous patient), I was then referred to Perfect smile instead. I cannot recommend this place enough, from the moment I spoke to the receptionist I had good vibes, I came today very very anxious, the dentist I saw (Asim) was absolutely incredible, I was sedated for a tooth extraction and filling, he put me at ease, explained what would happen, I felt like I was in and out within minutes. I would 100% recommend this place, all the staff I met today were amazing and caring. To him it was just removing a tooth, however for someone who is absolutely terrified of dental treatment it’s much more than that, he’s given me abit of faith that not all dentists / treatments are terrifying Thank you all that had to put up with a crying mess!! X

Fantastic experience: Sedation was the only way my son was going to have the treatment he needed. He was refereed by his own dentist due to how nervous he is. The whole team from Linda in reception, dentist Dr Asim, sedation Dr Shiv, nurse Sumi and the 2 post sedation nurses(sorry did not get their names) were absolutely professional. Everything was discussed before any work was done, you also have an option of interest free payments and a car park is available. Big thank you once again.

Fantastic experience: It was very quick for me to get the day and time for my son's appointment, we got there with the facility of a car park, which is very good, the receptionists were very friendly, all the support staff and the dental surgeon were fantastic. My son and I were a little worried about the sedation and how the post-surgery would be, and everything was just perfect. It doesn't even seem like my son had two wisdom teeth pulled out of his mouth, he's not swollen, there's very little pain, there's no severe bleeding, he's fine the very next day after the procedure. Thank you so much for your professionalism and high standards!

Fantastic experience: Our dentist referred us to Perfect Smile, as my 12 year old son was extremely anxious about having two teeth extracted, to make way for orthodontic work. On arrival the receptionist gave us a warm welcome and ensured the paperwork was in order before settling us in the waiting room. My son was so anxious that he was crying as he bravely entered the surgery. The team, quickly realising his fragile state, completely put him at ease. After introducing themselves, Muddassar calmly explained the procedure and my son soon settled. He even laughed at Dr Shiv’s ‘dad joke’, as the sedative was being administered, whilst Jocelyn made sure that he was comfortable. Once the teeth were skilfully removed by Muddassar my son was taken to Maggie in recovery. Once again, everything was explained clearly, as he gently came round. Maggie was so kind and caring and once my son had stabilised, she helped us to the car. Thank you to the ‘dream team’ at Perfect Smile. You made our experience very easy and stress free.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend Perfect Smile Sedation clinc for a dental extraction. After days in agony it was really quick and easy to get an appointment after referral from my Dentist. Everyone is welcoming and puts you at ease whilst you wait. At my appointment the whole team, dentist Dr Anand, nurse Sumi and anesthetist Ajim made me feel very relaxed before my procedure and it was over in a flash. You don’t feel or remember anything so before I knew it Maggie was taking me into the recovery room. If you pay for treatment it's not cheap but worth every penny if you are scared or anxious either about pain or the treatment itself. Thanks for a great experience!

Fantastic experience: Was really good and made me feel comfortable and did not fill the canderling go in was a lovely man that did it and his assistant was very nice too they where really good and would go back there aging in a flash if I needed other tooth out I had my wisdom tooth out all I felt was tucking but that was it I was sedated as well and I was okay then they took me to recovery and laid there for a little bit then I went home in the car with my mum and dad . Thx for a good experience with your dentist and assistance was very nice and the receptions was really nice to and made me feel really comfortable.

Fantastic experience: What an incredible team! The staff at the sedation clinic dentist at 165 Oxford Road here were so wonderful with my daughter who had sedation and extractions today, I’m in a wheelchair and they helped me with access and the transport issues I had for our return journey, they cared for my daughter after her procedure just as well as I would myself. They stayed with her when she was nervous and watched her while I had a ‘discussion’ in the car park with the taxi firm. All the staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful funny and quick witted, they have such beautiful temperaments with extremely anxious patients. I have four children who all dread the dentist, two are extremely opposed, and over the years this particular surgery has worked wonders and helped them all. But today was especially heartwarming, they all went out of their way to make my daughter feel at ease and care for her medical needs and they were really wonderful about me and my bulky powered wheelchair too, moving some stray furniture, Holding doors, offering helping at every turn, I am thrilled that today went to well, the staff made our lives so much easier in a difficult situation and I would highly recommend them all to my family and friends. Thank you all for such a great experience. It was truly moving how friendly, welcoming and reassuring you all are. Fantastic experience: I have an irrational phobia of dentists after a failed tooth extraction several weeks ago, I was referred to Perfect Smiles and I just want to say my experience was 10/10. The staff are absolutely wonderful, from reception to the dentist, anaesthetist and nurses. I was worried about sedation, but honestly if you’re nervous or have dental anxiety I couldn’t recommend it enough. Everyone was so kind and calm, and I don’t remember anything from my procedure, nor felt anything. So I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at Perfect Smiles for making my experience the best it could be, and as an incredibly anxious patient that was the best dental experience I could have wished for.

Fantastic experience: My Grandson was having his wisdom tooth extracted via sedation, he was very nervous. Although there was an hour delay he was appoligised to and kept informed. From start to finish he was put at ease which helped his Anxiety.

Fantastic experience: Been to this dentist a couple of times and I can honestly say what a amazing experience, my daughter is autistic and suffers really bad with anxiety, all the staff were amazing with her and really put her mind at ease, can highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: An absolute dream team at perfect smile, they went above and beyond for my Son who has a fear of the dentist. Not only did they make him feel at ease and safe but the team stayed late to finish his treatment plan in one sitting knowing we travelled a fair distance to get there. Negative experience: They called over 30 mins before my son’s appointment time. We were rushed to arrive at the practise early, then when we arrived we thought we were in the wrong building due to the decorating/building work that was taking place. Receptionist didn’t listen and was rushing us to fill out paperwork, dentist called us twice before I had even read the top half of the first page of the form. Then we were told to go to waiting room and continue to fill out form. Didn’t even get to sit down and he was called again. We went thought. Consider we were rushed. No thought that we weren’t ready. Had not watched the “video” explained my son has learning needs and is ever nervous. She weighed him before I had even got in the room. He sat down and the nurse but blood pressure thing on, then I notice she was going to do a cannula. No once did she say what she was doing. No Reassurance at all. My son refused as we were not told about this prior. And he did not have the confidence in the dentist at all. Then reception was very pushy and rude. I was shocked. When we left my son was in tears. Never will we return and Never would I recommend. The premises could also do with a good clean!

Fantastic experience: I just want to share my personal experience. A little while back Perfect Smile in Bracknell Town Hight Street referred me to Perfect Smile-Reading Sedation Clinic. I had my appointment Monday just gone on 13th November. My uncle and Nan took me over to Reading from Bracknell. While waiting for my name to be called through, a lovely and wonderful gentleman Dr Asim Bhatti and his lovely assistant made me really feel at ease as i wanted to make them aware that i have mild autism and have dental anxiety. Had an IV cannula in my arm for the first time but didn’t feel anything, i don’t think i was completely out too sleep but all i remember was starting to slowly slur my words and talk gibberish lol, i felt a bit more relaxed and heavily sedated but couldn’t remember most of what was going on. The next i knew was Asim and his assistant telling me it was all done and that they removed my top 3 teeth. The receptionists are really kind too, and i would definitely go back to them again if i ever had problems with my teeth again

Fantastic experience: Never thought I'd be writing a 5* review after a root canal procedure but I found Gerrit to be a really nice guy, straight talker (which works better for me) and was brilliant throughout a process that isn't great (though you can't feel a thing). I was worried before the procedure and I'm thankful that I had someone to do conduct it that was very much on my wavelength and totally professional throughout, much preferred him to my own dentist.

Fantastic experience: My 13yo daughter is hugely anxious and unable to have dental treatment. The team were brilliant, giving her a pre med to relax her in order to be sedated. They really put her at ease and looked after he. She is so relieved and so am I! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Always have a very positive experience at this practice and would recommend to anyone. Dr Bhatti is a great communicator and puts you well at ease. I've always been very pleased with the treatment I've received and I've needed quite a lot of big stuff recently. The reception staff are also very welcoming, the best dentist I've used for sure

Fantastic experience: Fantastic, friendly staff. From the receptionist all the way through to the recovery room assistant. The anaesthetist was particularly good with my daughter who is autistic, needle phobic and has sensory processing disorder. They all put her at ease and she said she would like to come there for everything!

Fantastic experience: I was referred by my NHS Perfect Smile dentist surgery here in Wokingham to their Reading Surgery as for whatever the reason ? Wokingham were not happy to remove a troublesome wisdom tooth. Being told by Perfect Smile Wokingham that the NHS waiting list could be up to 2months - my only real option was to take the private route - which I did at a cost of - £290. I have the say as a first time patient to Perfect Smile, Reading - I found the reception staff very welcoming and friendly. The Dentist Mr Snyman ( Gerry ) was very clear and precise in questioning and telling me the procedure - he also took extra care that he’d applied sufficient local anaesthetic ( unlike a previous dentist ) the extraction was completed very professionally & painlessly - there after Mr Snyman explained the aftercare procedure - he was patient and very caring - I had no toothache which meant I was able to attend the Reading Music Festival the following day . Following my experience- I can definitely recommended Mr Snymam and the Oxford Rd Staff.

The staff here were so understanding,went out of their way to get him the help he needed! Fantastic experience: I had an extraction under sedation and was extremely nervous but I couldn’t have been put more at ease. The anaesthetist, Dr Shiv was so patient and understanding and the dentist , Anisa explained everything fully before beginning. I wasn’t rushed or made to feel silly for being scared and even when probably talking nonsense afterwards, the recovery nurse, Maggie, was so lovely to me. Not an experience I’d like to repeat but if I had to, I’d be happy with this team taking care of me again.

Fantastic experience: Been meaning to write this review for a while but kept forgetting! Such a lovely dentist and experience from start to finish. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly and the dentist himself took time to explain to me every step and talk me through everything. Although I'm anxious I did not require sedation on this occasion and that was mostly because they were so kind and lovely. Definitely advise usinf them even if you're only a little anxious as the staffs demeanour is totally different to anywhere else I've ever gone and just so lovely and calming.
