Fantastic experience: Visiting the dentist is never fun but I can’t rate the staff at highly enough at Pont Steffan Dental Practice, especially Charley who always puts me at ease, and has just done an amazing job on my new crown :-)

Fantastic experience: Staff are friendly, accommodating and very good at reassuring nervous patients. This is from the moment you arrive throughout care and follow up. For those with additional needs, they really take the time to work with children at their own pace and comfort levels. Including spending extra time speaking with carers to best support them. It truly has been a joy to bring our children to a practice where those extras make all the difference to a positive experience. Every single member of the team has been truly fantastic and we cannot express what a difference this makes. A huge thank you in particular to Dr Eilish, Dr Eleri, Dr Alyn and Anna. Their care and compassion has been wonderful- really going the extra mile. But also the nursing team and receptionists who are also great. If you're feeling unsure, or worried, try the practice- they will genuinely work with you however they can to support you.

Particular thanks go to Ailish who is a fantastic dentist, she always explains proposed treatment and checks on you all the way through to make sure you are comfortable. My recent treatment was excellent in every way.

The Hygenist and nurse were great and extremely informative especially on the newly acquired power tooth wash cleaner. All was an extremely pleasant visit as usual.........Thank you.

Fantastic experience: What’s not to love about the new “sandblasting” ? I visited the hygienist today and this was the first time they’d used the new method of cleaning the teeth on me. It was so much nicer. Quieter and much more comfortable. Really pleased. I used to be so scared of the hygienist, as they hurt. They don’t at Pont Steffan.

Fantastic experience: I have consistently had a positive experience at this dental clinic. The front desk receptionists are professional and excellent communicators. The hygienist, Sophie Bowen, was very thorough and left my teeth feeling fantastic. My dentist, Alyn Morris, is particularly skilled at making me feel at ease and clearly explains the procedures he performs. I highly recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Prior to my Root Canal procedure I was warned that there might be a problem with finding all the roots in the tooth. Today, Steffan Thomas assisted by Catrin James carried out a very professional, successful operation. Everything was explained to me prior, during and afterwards. A great thank you to you both.

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient and needed a root canal , my worse nightmare. Never had one before. However, everyone was so nice and understanding to me , made a huge difference. From the lovely gentleman on reception, who I had a bit of a laugh with to the last minute I left , everyone was so lovely . Nothing was rushed , everything explained to me , to what was going to happen . The dental nurse was my saving grace tho . Offered for me to hold her hand if needed, Checked on me every few minutes with a sweet squeeze of my arm . So reassuring, honestly cannot say how that helped me. All in all left feeling quite OK with everything, which is a lot from a patient who was asking about an escape plan on arrival ! Lol Thank you so much xxx

I feel confident that the complex issues in my mouth were fully understood and treatment will be appropriate. I have been nervous about changing dentists but now feel reassured that this practise will be a great place for my treatment.

Fantastic experience: It was my first visit today after being without an NHS dentist for nearly 2 years. I was petrified, mainly because I have two wisdom teeth that need pulling and wondering how I would be able to afford treatments. Eleri and Catrin (assistant) made me feel as comfortable as possible and instantly at ease. They both explained things through properly and were so down to earth. I would recommend this surgery to anyone who is nervous

Fantastic experience: Have only good things to say about this dental practise, great staff who create a fab atmosphere. Gareth was my dentist, unfortunately I had to have fillings which some people may find stressful but it was actually very relaxing, and it helps because he is so chilled out. No dramas, no pain just a fabulous dentist who knows his thing. I do actually look forward to my appointments there.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic practice. Always helpful, kind, friendly as well as expert and professional. I have real problems with my teeth and have done for years due to dentists overdrilling them when I was younger. I am always a bit scared and worried when something goes wrong with them, as I have had such bad experiences in the past. Gareth and Pont Steffan have really helped improve my dental and oral health, clearly explaining what they have done and why. It is great to be with a practice that I can trust, which is professional, efficient and very kind and friendly.

Fantastic experience: On arrival I was offered a drink. All staff are very kind and friendly. The waiting room is light and comfortable. Even the toilet is well thought out with individual drying towels. I have received wonderful bedside manners from the dentists I received treatment from and good advice for my aftercare. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Went for a repair to a broken tooth the dentist Huw was brilliant, put me at ease, great care and attention. My wife had to have a tooth removed and was extremely nervous. Huw again put her at ease and calmed her nerves. Great care and explanation of process and aftercare. Best dentist and practice we have ever been to. Well done to you all.

Positive experience: First time at this practice after 5 years without a dentist. Could not be made more welcome. Gareth's treatment is done with care and kindness, no problems whatsoever and after initial checkup, came back to have it all done in one day. Only negative is it is expensive but the overall package is worth it. Note the PayPal pay in 3 doesn't work with a credit card so is of limited use.

Fantastic experience: I’m a registered patient with this dental practice and it’s the best practice I have ever been too in my life. Very clean waiting area and facilities. On this occasion my crown fell out, a quick phone call and a few hours later I was invited in. The dentist was great, explained what he was going to do, then what he was doing and carried out the procedure of refitting the cleaned crown to the cleaned tooth. All this was done painlessly, absolutely superb service and worth the cost. A big thank you to all the staff.

Fantastic experience: Visiting Pont Steffan Dental Practice literally takes all the pain away. Whilst the cost of dental care can be an eye watering experience, the treatment certainly isn't. The staff here are worth every penny. A friendly welcome as soon as you walk through the door and my new Dentist! Ah! She is so caring and considerate, explaining everything as she goes. I've had 2 white fillings replaced and I'm due for some more serious interventions in the not too distant future but I have every confidence in her which, let's face it, is half the battle when thinking what takes place inside your head!

Negative experience: My dentist (Fiona) has been amazing given I am a nervous patient. It is regrettable the practice has (over the last year) failed to live up to the initial amazing performance. Appointments repeatedly being moved with no explanation. Attempted to get my partner in only to find appointments again continuously moved. The final straw was receiving a call saying my appointment was being moved and that was it. No apology. No, sorry but the dentist is unavailable. When I finally got to see Fiona I discovered she was leaving and had no idea whey my appointment the previous day was moved as she was there on site. Subsequently it transpired she was leaving the practice. As am I. I did complain on the day but it felt very much like 'lip service' being paid to my frustrations. They are not cheap and poor customer service from people who should know better is unacceptable.

Positive experience: Always welcoming. Patience to explain things properly. Sometimes have to wait a bit as appointment a bit delayed.

Fantastic experience: Recently moved to the area and signed up with this very friendly and professional Dental Practice. It seems to be a very thriving practice with a lot of modern and efficient equipment. Everyone is super friendly, from reception to Dentist and all in between. Appointments were made swiftly, great communication across the board, and the practice rooms are very well kitted out, comfortable, clean and stylish. Going to a dentist is not the best day out, but this one make going so much more enjoyable

Fantastic experience: First appointment at the Surgery today. All staff were very welcoming and friendly. Had an appointment with Owain who specialises in orthodontics. He went through everything in detail with me and did a thorough investigation and suggested that braces weren’t the best option for me and booked me in with another dentist who specialises in what needed to be done to my teeth and didn’t charge for the appointment. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I was greeted warmly as I arrived( a wee bit early ) and the biz of forms and declarations was done quickly. Simon did the work on my tooth and displayed skill and human kindness as he worked. I was never left in doubt about his doings as he kept me informed as he went along. Fantastic experience: I'm a big baby, when it comes to dentists!!! I can deal with just about everything else, but a visit to the dentist has to be classed on a whole different level. Having said that, my very first visit to Pont Steffan Dental Practice this morning went really well. It was only a check-up but Charley spoke to me like an adult, gave me all the information I requested and settled my mind with a very professional and thorough consultation. I'm not looking forward to it, but I think/hope I will have a bit more confidence at my next appointment!

Negative experience: Prices for dental treatment are insane., it's no wonder there are very few NHS dentists left.

Spoke to Helen who was Caring and Sympathetic regarding My Toothache and Managed to get Me an Emergency appointment The following Day. Dentist and HERO of The Day who was Professional and Courteous in His Field of Expertise, a Big Thank You to Owain.
