After a previous bad experience at a different dentist I was very nervous at first but I felt completely at ease here and the staff are very professional and friendly. Fantastic experience: A wonderful practice and a very high standard from all of the team in all departments, and I think very highly of ALL of them....but advertising outside for new patients to join the practice when the hygienist appointments are solidly booked up for many months is mot appropriate! Over the last 7 years I’ve had implants, root treatments, crowns and varying procedures to ease the issues with my teeth, all completed with professionalism and absolute care by David, along with full explanations of required treatments.

Fantastic experience: The staff and in particular the head of Dentistry in the practice are the very best professionals in the area, from expert dental surgeons with implants to hygienists with the best equipment. They seem to be early adopters of new equipment and ideas. In-house, 3D x-rays are immediately available with AI overviews and reports and new powder spray cleaning equipment. Overall appointments go in within a few minutes and plenty of text reminders leading up to the day. My family are lucky to have a place with them especially when the kids needed orthodontist work, excellent all around.

Fantastic experience: Dr Burgess is an experienced, kind, expert, professional, capable, thoughtful, considerate, caring and highly skilled dentist. I had a broken tooth which required extraction and he accomplished this quickly and painlessly and took care and time to explain everything and help me feel calm and reassured.

Negative experience: I paid £159 for a five minute consultation where the dentist told me my temporary filling was fine until it wasn't, accepted the xrays I had done at another dentists and said goodbye. I asked if I could have a credit note as the initial consultation should have had two xrays and was told no, that £159 was the registration fee. I feel cheated. There was no discussion about future care or plans to join. It's just a money making enterprise.

Fantastic experience: Was on holiday when I experienced extreme tooth pain. Called Carbis bay dentist and within 3 hours I was in having it extracted which is what I wanted. Very friendly staff and the dentist done a first class job. I am so grateful to all concerned.

Negative experience: I called the practice explaining I was on holiday but experiencing significant pain with a tooth and asked if it was possible to see someone. I was told to ring the NHS

Fantastic experience: I'm a needle phobic, dentist phobic, and needed sedation for tricky wisdom tooth, I can honestly say, in all my years of absolute terror at needles, as in IV needles, not tattoos, this was first time I felt safe, and altho very scared, the brilliant, lovely David and his team, were so so lovely and reassuring, they were the kindest, most patient humans, and I can honestly say, if I ever need another wisdom op it will be with carbis bay team. Or nowhere else. They are wonderful. Even had call next day checking I was well. 5 star no, TEN star.

Fantastic experience: I joined this surgery over 18 years ago as I'd had such bad experiences I needed to be sedated to have any treatment. Gradually over the years David and team were so lovely and reassuring that I was able move to gas and air sedation and eventually not require any kind of soothing other than the wonderful friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: After chipping away some of the enamel on my front tooth exposing an obvious cavity, I booked in for an emergency appointment at Carbis Bay Dental Care. I was apprehensive as I am petrified of dentists and have avoided them for almost a decade because of my fear but Dr Singh, Helen and Victoria put me completely at ease and I didn't feel a thing. After meticulously working away at my teeth, I cried when I was handed the mirror at the end of my appointment and could actually smile again with confidence. The care I received was nothing short of outstanding.
