Luckily, I came across Deepali, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful. She was able to fit me in on a Saturday evening, and from the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist practice with a welcoming staff. Always made to be at ease. Deepali always explains everything so clearly and with such kindness. In cases where a procedure is necessary, she also discusses the various possibilities.

Negative experience: Not overly impressed, had to get 3 crowns fitted and neither of them fitted and had to be redone, so the appointment was a complete waste of time...I had gotten up at 6am on my day off for this, so was very frustrating, espc as the dentist and her assistant were not apologetic about it at all, even when I explained I had gotten up at 6am on my day off for the appointment and it was their mistake in the first place, at the very least I think I should have been offered some financial compensation for having my time wasted. Response to below, yes Deepali it was definitley with you, also I didn't say it was numerous times to be sent back? it was only once, but I mistyped it was 2 crowns and they both had to be redone at the lab. Do you not think this is wasting patients time, especially asking them to get up so early in the morning and that you should have at least given me a discount for getting your job wrong?

Fantastic experience: Grateful to the team at Mayfield Dental. My grandma had dentures made at other practices which she couldn’t chew with and this was upsetting her. Deepali and Madja replaced her dentures - she can now eat her food with comfort and is smiling again which means so much to me!

Fantastic experience: over the Easter bank holiday (two weeks before my wedding!) I developed excruciating pain in one of my wisdom teeth. I was able to get an appointment with Dr Deepali on the same day (Easter Sunday) where she provided me with calm and supportive advice, as well as the antibiotics necessary to treat the infection, the pain relief followed within 24 hours. She was also able to offer me an appointment to extract the wisdom tooth within a few more days, which I accepted. I was delighted with the treatment I received, I couldn’t quite believe the tooth was extracted (with no pain or swelling afterwards) and I was in and out of the surgery within 15 minutes! I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Deepali for anyone requiring urgent treatment.

Fantastic experience: I lost more than 50% of my front tooth and was seen the next morning at 7.30am by Mayfield Dental, assessed and referred on an emergency basis to Root Canal Referrals where I was given a root canal and temporary crown on the same day. I returned to Mayfield Dental quickly for assessment of a permanent crown and this was fitted very soon after. The care, professionalism, swift and service I was provided was first rate. Deepali patiently talked me through the best options available and made sure I was able to make the right decision for me. Based on my experience I could not recommend Deepali and Mayfield practice more highly. Thank you so much- a very happy patient.

Fantastic experience: Deepali and her team are friendly and very good at putting you at your ease. Examinations and dental work are all very thorough and it's never difficult to get an appointment. Deepali also goes the extra mile by making herself available outside of normal surgery hours for emergencies or on the phone for any concerns you may have.

Fantastic experience: I reached out at 3am recently, whilst suffering with intense tooth ache. I received a call back at 6am that morning from Dr Deepali who then arranged to see me by 6.40am. I received great advice on how to manage the pain and was given the necessary antibiotics. I also received several courtesy calls and texts from dr Deepali that day and the following morning to check in on my progress with the pain levels. It felt like a very personal service with a genuine concern for my wellbeing and I’d highly recommend a visit - you’ll be very happy with the service! Alex

The team - Deepali, Madja and Tracy - are invariably friendly and relaxed, making for a cheerful atmosphere. Fantastic experience: Many people will think that I’m a little weird or even crazy but I actually like visiting my dentist. It wasn’t always the case; no, far from it. Before I started to see Deepali at Mayfield Dental, I was not enthusiastic about going to the dentist. In the past there were times when I really had to force myself to make a dental appointment and I was always apprehensive, tense and uncomfortable before the visit; more so when it entailed a filling or a crown. I'm glad to say I no longer have this issue. On my first visit to Mayfield (over five years ago) I was made to feel relaxed and reassured that nothing unpleasant was going to happen. Madja and Deepali were friendly, warm, professional and engaging. Every visit I’ve had since has been equally good. My treatment has been consistently of a high standard and delivered in an efficient, professional yet caring manner. Best of all is that I get a warm welcome with smiles every time!

As soon as I landed in London, I searched for a dentist, and her clinic popped up. I called on a Sunday, desperate to get it fixed immediately. Fantastic experience: I had to take an emergency appointment due to swelling on my face and bad toothache. When I checked in the google the first dental surgery came up on the screen was Mayfield. I made a call around 7 pm on a Saturday and Dr. Deepali attended the phone call. Due to my condition without any hesitations she was happy to see me on the same day in her clinic and she explained me everything and put me on antibiotics. Soon I recovered and she arranged another appointment to do my dental check and cleaning. As per my request she arranged an emergency tooth extraction with a dental surgeon next to that week. I was so nervous about extraction. But they made me so comfortable and the entire process was completely painless. The overall procedure was finished within 10 minutes. After reaching home I had 2 phone-call to make sure I was ok. All the staffs were extremely helpful and polite including the receptionist. Especially, Dr. Deepali, her friendly conversation made me so comfortable and she was one of best dentist I have ever seen.

Fantastic experience: I got in touch with Deepali on a Sunday with a dental emergency over the Christmas and New Year break as I was in an unbearable amount of pain. She has such a kind and caring personality and was able to explain to me my options at my appointment, which immediately put me at ease. She was able to proceed with an option I was comfortable with, and I left pain-free and felt really taken care of. Part of this option was a suggestion to receive a referral for a root canal to save my tooth by Deepali’s recommendation. I truly believe that had I not seen Deepali at this point, I have no doubt my tooth would’ve deteriorated at a rapid rate. Fantastic experience: Registered at MayField Dental a couple of years ago when I required 2/3 fillings. Usually I have been quite nervous going to any other dentists in the past but Deepali and the team make me feel at ease immediately. I usually come in for regular hygiene cleaning where in the past my gums bleed when brushing at times. Since registering I can say my gums have totally improved and have stopped bleeding thanks to Deepali.

Fantastic experience: I first encountered Mayfield Dental when I needed an emergency appointment for my wisdom tooth pain. I called them, and their lovely receptionist, Tracy, got me in the same day! On this appointment, I found out that my wisdom tooth was infected and needed to be taken out; I was booked in with their oral surgeon for the wisdom tooth extraction, and let me tell you, this was the quickest and most painless extraction I have ever had! The oral surgeon, Anika, and her dental nurse, Madja, are a great team! After that experience, I decided to stay with Mayfield Dental for my routine dental care and made an appointment for a general dental checkup. I needed a few fillings and a mouthguard as a I am grinding my teeth; on that appointment, I also got a lot of prevention information and how to take care of my oral health. Deepali informed me about everything, and I felt like I was included in my treatment planning, which is very rare. Nowadays, I come for my regular checkups, hygiene cleans and fluoride varnish application, and I couldn’t be happier with Mayfield Dental, the best dental clinic in Croydon!

She has redesigned the surgery, adding a reception area where you are welcomed by a friendly receptionist and the waiting area and toilet are first class. Fantastic experience: I am a very anxious patient, as have had lots of negative experiences elsewhere in the past. Unfortunately, I needed a lot of dental work, but Deepali has been incredibly patient and always ensures I’m comfortable during the appointment.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extracted at Mayfield Dental (on the 2nd appointment after the initial consultation on what to do as my tooth had split in half) It went really smoothly. I didn't feel any pain at all and it was done very quickly.I thought they hadn't started yet or it was their first try. But the dentist said it was all done. I couldn't believe it The dentist who extracted the tooth was a total expert. Also the receptionist was so kind and polite it felt like I was talking to someone I had known for years. The dental assistant was very helpful and wrapped up my tooth for me to take away and after she answered all my questions on what to do in the coming days while my gum healed.(All the answers she gave were on the -Post Extraction Advice fact sheet which was given to me earlier but I hadn't read it. I felt a bit bad for wasting her time) The dental practice is very clean and has a very nice waiting room and is nice and warm. I am so happy.

So happy l followed the reviews and went with Mayfield. Very impressed with treatment, care, and information. Have a plan to get my teeth where they should be, and will be sticking with Mayfield to follow that. Can't reccomend them enough

Negative experience: There was a lack of empathy and focus on worst case scenarios by this dentist. I was there for a chipped crown and she gave me the solutions for a tooth removal / implant / denture. Only when I pushed for us to focus on a crown replacement did she come back to this - note the implant route is significantly more expensive & invasive than a crown replacement (and less ideal for a 32 year old who wants to keep their tooth). The crown discussion came with repeated warnings around her inability to colour match this to my teeth / a risk of this breaking / and constant warnings that I will inevitably lose this tooth. I am very much in favor of hearing realistic feedback (best and worst case scenarios), but I've never been to a medical professional who was so incapable of delivering this in an appropriate manner. This combined with an ongoing narrative that NHS dentists under diagnose (with a story about how she prescribed 5 fillings, whilst a second opinion from an NHS dentist advised 1). I didn't feel in safe hands and really did not find her trustworthy. I've since spoken to multiple other dentists and endodontists who have advised CBCT scans, re treatment of a root canal and a new crown - but also all had empathy for a half missing front tooth and offered temporary composite bonding in the meantime. Additionally, I booked an appointment for 8 - I had a call waking me up at 6.45am asking if I could come in at 7.40 instead. I arrived at 7.40 and was kept waiting as she hadn't arrived - and when she did I had to wait until she got herself set up.. so it was 8am by the time we kicked off. This wouldn't have been an issue if this was the only problem - but I do think it shows a lack of professionalism. I really wouldn't recommend coming here.

Dipali is always friendly, clearly and concisely outlines treatment plans and options and the treatment room is calm and peaceful. Heartily recommend.

Fantastic experience: Over 20 years ago my wife Heather fell and knocked out two front teeth. Her dentist at that time fitted her with a dental bridge which served her well till she recently fell again and knocked out the bridge. Deepali the dentist at Mayfield Dental offered the choice of an upper denture or a new dental bridge; it would not be possible to adjust the original bridge to fit correctly. After consideration and discussing it with the family Heather chose to have a new bridge, the more expensive option. Deepali made a mould, and a few days later the clinic called to say that the new bridge was ready. Heather's new teeth match her adjacent teeth very well indeed, and she no longer thinks that people are reminded of Dracula when she smiles. Throughout the treatment Deepali and her staff have been very caring and considerate; none of us like having to visit the dentist, but all the staff made Heather comfortable and cared for her well.

Fantastic experience: Was able to get an emergency appointment for chipped front teeth within 24h! And within 48h was all fixed (even though it was New Years Eve!). Very friendly team and my teeth filling was done very well.

Fantastic experience: Great dental practice with caring, informative staff. I hadn’t been to the dentist for a while because of the Pandemic, so I needed some fillings after my first appointment, but all was clearly explained. I was also able to spread out the work over different appointments to reduce the impact and they offered appointment slots before work which was really convenient. I now feel confident in my dental health and that regular appointments will help prevent / spot problems before they arise

Fantastic experience: When I first signed up to join Mayfield, I was incredibly nervous going back to the dentist due some unpleasant experiences in the past which had left me with a lot of stress and anxiety. Since the first appointment, the entire staff at Mayfield have given me a wonderful and warm experience. Dr Deepali really eased my concerns, making sure to explain what the issues were from the start and what steps we would need to take to resolve them. She explained what the rough cost of my treatment would be before we started and, if there was anything extra that needed doing, she would explain the cost attached and made sure I was okay with this before proceeding. Throughout my appointments, I was periodically asked if I was okay and made sure I knew that I was in control and we could stop at any point if I needed to. The whole experience felt very respectful and kind and has really changed my feelings about going to the dentist. I couldn’t recommend them enough!
