Fantastic experience: A great practice, the receptionists are all amazing, friendly and helpful. I like a lot of people have a fear of the dentist. For me personally I need to know exactly what is happening, and what is being used, why etc. Julia the dentist I see explains everything she is doing which means she has to repeat herself sometimes. I never have to go over my fears as she remembers. The guys on the front desk also help me with knowing what is going on. I still shake when I'm there but I have confidence and trust with my dentist and the practice.

I see the dentist Tanya- I highly recommend her I have been a nervous patient and she is always patient with me and sensitive to my needs. Fantastic experience: My wife Helen needed treatment while we were away on holiday and we luckily got an appointment at this practice. This is her review... On arrival the receptionist was really friendly and welcoming. The Dentist was equally friendly explaining everything fully. I was treated with care and I actually felt very relaxed (not usual for a dental appointment) The appointment ran to time and the whole experience was a very efficient and pleasant one. I would happily attend this lovely practice if it wasn't nearly 300 miles from home! A huge thank you to all the staff x

Fantastic experience: What a professional service this practice provides for the local community. As an extremely nervous patient with a range of experiences from previous dental practices around the country the correct choice of dentist was important to me. Bupa Dental Care Ivybridge is an extremely efficient practice that exudes professional practice. This starts with the helpful and highly knowledgeable reception team right through to the Dentist including of course the dental nurses and hygienist. I always judge a service or place by considering if I would I go back there again, and while it will never rate as a great tourist attraction it is certainly a place that I have felt comfortable visiting over the past seven years. I also consider what could be improved and I can honestly say that I can’t think of anything after all it would be difficult to improve on perfection! While I am sure all the dentists are excellent at their jobs I have to say my own experience of Mariyana Tomova has been exceptional and rate her as easily the best dentist I have ever encountered over my 60+ years.

Fantastic experience: Feel exceptionally lucky to be able to use their service. My husband and I have both needed emergency treatment and have been fitted in at short notice. Huge thanks to dentist Julia for her competence and kindness, Lucy for being a great hygienist and to receptionists Sue and Dan for going above and beyond to help us. All staff are friendly and efficient and as my husband is vulnerable we had confidence during lockdown that they were taking the utmost care with their procedures to protect everyone.

Positive experience: Had to have a tooth extracted as an emergency but could only get there in the morning, the dentist managed to get me in straight away and was very gentle with the injection. Both the dentist and the nurse were brilliant, very chatty, friendly and professional. Definitely recommend.
