Fantastic experience: A massive that you to Dr Panesar and the rest of the Birmingham Orthodontics team!! When picking where to go to the orthodontics I did lots of research and decided to pick here which I would recommend. Dr Panesar spent lots of time making sure my teeth were moving correctly, explaining the process and making sure I was comfortable. Being able to have appointments on a Saturday also made the process of having Invisalign a lot easier as I wasn’t having to fit my appointments around work. The price was all explained up front when I went for a consultation and there were no hidden costs.

Dr Panesar and Harvey have shown so much patience and understanding, especially with me and my personal circumstances over the years. Because of those circumstances, my braces journey had to change significantly, but Dr Panesar was always supportive and reassuring throughout. The entire team is friendly, professional, and always makes me feel welcome each time I visit the clinic. I’m genuinely so happy with my results as my teeth were once very crowded with a severe overbite, and the transformation has been amazing. I’m very grateful for all the care, effort, and patience that was shown to me. I’m honestly sad that this journey has come to an end, but I couldn’t recommend Birmingham Orthodontics highly enough.

Negative experience: Called on a friday for a emergency retainer fitting. They were closed despite it being within stated operating hours. By the following monday, my teeth had moved significantly and they washed their hands of any responsibility and essentially told me that I would have to get a retainer on the moved teeth which flushes the £2500 on braces I gave to them down the drain. I wouldn’t have left the practice feeling so disappointed if they had taken some level of responsibility (as I understand I was the one to lose the retainer but they had told me previously that emergency appointments are possible) but they said I have to understand they aren’t always open despite me calling at 3pm on a Friday. To add on further, once I did get an appointment the following monday, the mould they use to made the retainer kept falling apart. This led to them telling me to book an appointment in a few days, which led to my teeth moving even more (they moved fast as I had got my braces off a few months prior). Once again, they took no responsibility and said I would have to get a retainer on the newly moved teeth, which means my smile would be crooked. The other option was to start treatment again.

Fantastic experience: Dr Panesar and their team were fantastic. They were friendly, professional and my Sleepwell device has made a massive improvement to my quality of life.

Fantastic experience: Today we finished the first phase of my son’s treatment with Mr Panesar. We are so pleased with the outcome. We got a bit late to start his treatment as initially we were planning on treatment in NHS. With the massive nhs waits, we decided to go private as earlier the age the treatment is started while the teeth are still growing, better the results. With nhs queue, we would have to wait for a few years and the treatment would have coincided with his GSCE years which we didn’t want. We started at age 13 which is still considered slightly late. My son had major upper buck teeth 13mm out. Following Mr Panesar’s detailed investigation, planning and treatment, the result so far is that now they are only 4mm out. His upper teeth have almost gone 1cm in , great results ! Very grateful to him. Mr Panesar is very professional. He is very thorough with precision to detail in his orthodontics work. Staff at reception is very helpful and accommodating especially as we often needed evenings and weekend appointments due to our work and school schedules. The location, parking availability and ambience of the clinic are an added bonus.

Negative experience: Avoid! Scam! Took advantage of my daughter by taking her £100 for the consultation and rushed her out the room. Email address was correct as she confirmed it but he did not email the detailed quote as promised, proving it was all about pocketing the £100. Don't make the mistake of falling for the positive reviews like us - check out the 1 stars!! It is easy for dentists to influence reviews and get hold of fake positive reviews, I'm speaking from a marketing profession. Save yourself time and money. I was going to become a patient here too but after seeing this, nooo, not anymore! I'm reviewing this place and dentist as untrustworthy and scam. Trust that instinct - avoid! Don't waste away your £100 on something that you hear nothing about after, or for dentist to say that you're now unsuitable -- and save your £100 for somewhere worth it.

Negative experience: I wished I had checked the low rated reviews before booking consultation - similar happened with me! :( What sold me to book the consultation was the photos, the 'too good to be true' reviews (as many people get others to place positive reviews to bump up the ratings) and the dentists experience/ of how he came across on his website. I really misjudged this place with my high expectations and praises because in truth after attending I sadly realised I was so wrong and was left so disappointed. Other review on Google: 'No X-ray’s were taken, nor a ...' -- me too! Sooo, I'm paying £100 for what? All other consultations I attended at other Orthodontic places included thorough xrays or were free consultations including thorough xrays -- but here there was not much or close to a proper consultation for Orthodontic treatment... oh, except rushing the consultation, and skipping out of main elements to the consultation including xrays, something I was told covered the xrays but were not taken. I was rushed out saying my next patient is here! It was rude, did not feel like a valued customer. Just a number that put £100 in Dr Jaspal Panesar's pocket for a pointless basic consultation. Made me feel less in myself and a wasted fee I could've used towards something better. I also waited a few weeks before leaving this review to check if I'll receive the quote I was promised (that I was actually promised I would get in the next day or so of my consultation) -- I still have not received the quote yet unfortunately. Avoid and save yourself £100 from a wasted consultation fee clearly what they're trying to scam out of you! Shame! I'm definitely going with one of my other choices!

I was a trickier case due to jaw joint issues but Dr Panesar was great throughout, made me feel at ease and I’m so glad I trusted his expertise as the results are great. The Practice Manager Harvy was also always super friendly and helpful, and I always found the team quite caring. My appointments always ran on time and the cleanliness and quality of the practice is second to none. Fantastic experience: Dr. Panesar has done an excellent work. I had orthognathic treatment which is a combination of braces and jaw surgery. Both Dr. Panesar and the surgeon he works closely with were very attentive of my needs and listened to concerns. They planned and shared the best treatment option for me and I’m very happy with the results. The consulting room was always very clean and comfortable and the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Appointments were mostly on time. Dr. Panesar pays attention to detail and always tries to achieve the best possible result. I went from not being able to close my mouth properly to having a very nice smile. I will recommend it 100%.

Fantastic experience: Well how do I start this. Ever since I was growing up, I always had this innate desire to have straight teeth. It was always at the back of my mind until I reached my 30th birthday. I thought that this is the time to do something with my teeth and turn it into a reality. I started my journey with Birmingham Orthodontics in early 2017. My first consultation with Dr Panesar was impressive. He made me feel welcome, reassuring and was very thorough and honest right from the start, which I really admire in any person. I knew from that moment that this is the place to start my treatment. I realised that a lot of work and patience is required, especially with my mandibular jaw. But throughout the 5 years, Dr Panesar has been exceptional. He will go through great lengths in order to achieve the best straight teeth and smile you can possibly have. He is very passionate at what he does and he is a master in this particular field. I absolutely love my straight teeth and my cheeks ache because I’m always smiling. I want to personally thank Dr Panesar for his incredible service and all the effort he’s put into achieving my smile, and it’s certainly paid off. Fantastic experience: I began treatment with Dr Panesar in 2013. I had a severe underbite and terribly misaligned teeth on both my upper and lower jaw. My underbite and teeth led to a lot of bullying in school and college, to the point where I felt severely depressed and isolated. I didn't leave the house for fear of being ridiculed. I talked through my issues with Dr Panesar and he was able to offer support and treatments to help me. With the assistance of himself and other members of the clinic, I have never felt more confident in my life. Without his help over the years I would be a completely different person. Fantastic experience: We have been visiting Birmingham Orthodontics for over two years with our 16 year old daughter (who had top and bottom fixed braces). The service, flexibility and support from the whole team has been excellent from day one. The therapeutic approach was also great with the big plus of not having to have any teeth removed (which had been suggested as necessary by other orthodontic practices). Fantastic experience: Had consultation with Dr Panesar today. My first visit & I found him highly professional and very approachable. Dr Panesar explained everything in simple and easy to understand words. He was more than happy to answer all my questions. I found Dr Panesar to be extremely knowledgeable and very experienced.
