Bupa Dental Care Brixham - New Road

Positive experience: I would have given 5 stars if the receptionists in the Bupa Care team had sent me to the correct place to wait for my examination and not waste the time of the staff Haya searching for me. Haya and David were excellent.

Fantastic experience: Friendly warm welcome from reception and Tim. Put at ease as always. Broken tooth repaired promptly and efficiently.

All the staff are friendly and helpful and Athanasios, my new dentist, was very thorough and explained everything. I’ve just had my first visit to the hygienist. Haya was very friendly and considerate. She was efficient and helpful.

Fantastic experience: 6 monthly appointment but a filling was needed after the loss of part.of a tooth. The dentist completed the filling quickly and efficiency. The hygienist always puts one at ease whilst cleaning of teeth takes place.

Positive experience: Have just had a crown fitted last week and so far it has gone well. I did have to wait several weeks for the treatment but I am pleased with the result thanks to Tim.

Fantastic experience: I saw the hygienist and then the dentist on a routine 6 monthly appointment. Both were very good. I gave no complaints. What does annoy me is the fact that for the first time in my 70+ years, I do not have an NHS dentist and am now having to pay monthly for something that I paid for all my working life. As a pensioner, something that I could certainly do without.

Negative experience: Bupa have decided that the nhs patients they had they are no longer treating without any notice and this is ridiculous and should be held to account for this by the government and nhs because this is leaving people with out a dentist

Positive experience: Excellent dentist. The only fault I can find with them was last year I was told it was £99 for the hygienist and when I went to pay it was about £20 more expensive than they quoted, and the receptionist made out id got that wrong even though id written it down in my diary, but other than that they have been amazing! Tim especially, makes you relaxed as soon as you walk in! And im afraid of dentists, so would recommend to go to him.

Fantastic experience: Perfect service on 6th August. The ladies in the reception were kind and professional with my emergency problem. Mr. Anderson resolved my problem with his usual calm expertise . My husband and myself being with the practice since 2014 have always been delighted with the kindness and service we always receive.

Claire is extremely professional and gentle, not only did she treat my teeth but she explained exactly what she was going to do and why and then she gave me advice for self treatment at home. Fantastic experience: Son attended while on holiday with his girlfriend and her parents, he called my upset he was in pain with his tooth. We called bupa who went above and beyond in getting his seen as fast as possible. Son has adhd and asd and wasn't dealing with it all to well but they stepped up and got him sorted. He said all were so lovely and helpful and that's was from a very stressed and anxious lad. They sent me a payment link so I could settle his bill all the way back in leicestershire. I cant thank the team enough for what they did today. Thanks all you put a very worried mum at ease too. Xx

Fantastic experience: I had my 2nd molar removed yesterday 30th June 2025 and when I say I was nervous and worried that was an understatement, George my Dentist put me at ease and my tooth was removed skillfully and painlessly, the only pain I had was paying for it! Thanks George you were amazing xx
