Fantastic experience: After years of amassed negative dental experiences, I was an utter wreck when even considering a visit to the dentist.. It started with having 11 fillings in one go,aged 9,and continued for several decades thereafter..root canal after cracking a front tooth aged 12, more fillings,drillings,pullings and torturings of all descriptions.. drill bits dropped down my throat,cheek drilled by mistake,local anaesthetic not working on abscessed tooth...5 or 6 different practices later,having developed strong mistrust of all dentists,I was advised to have a costly,potentially risky and painful procedure by the last practice I had signed up to.. decided to look for a second opinion,and entered Narberth Dental Health Practice with trepidation and dread..Over the course of several visits,slowly but surely,this was dispersed.Had confirmation of what i' d read beforehand- traumatic expensive procedure being potentially only 40% successful anyway.. Despite the less than ideal state of my teeth, my past negative experiences were validated by being acknowledged and listened to, before any treatment took place..When it did,the approach felt unhurried, caring and transparent.Everything was explained at a pace and level I could understand,and any options made very clear, with no pressure to do anything before I was ready to choose. From reception to chair, everybody seems truly caring and efficient,as well as confidence inspiring..nothing like a bit of wonderfully dry humour,as well as the ability to not take oneself too serious-and that.s just from the dentist!!-to feel at ease.. I feel very fortunate to have found this place!

Fantastic experience: To be honest, I haven’t been to the dentist since 2011 due to having extreme anxiety, but my first appointment with Mark made my anxiety practically disappear, he’s not like an NHS dentist who just wants you In and out as quickly as possible, he actually makes conversation with you and explains in detail from start to finish on what’s going to happen within the appointment! Looking forward to actually working with Mark and getting my teeth back into perfect health.

Fantastic experience: Went to this practice for dental implant surgery for an implant retained denture on 4 implants due to a very bad 2 years of a top denture which I could not get on with. Finished my treatment recently at this practice and had my new removable implant retained denture fitted and it has improved my confidence 100%. I am also a brass player and struggled all the time with movement with my previous denture but WOW!! no movement with my new denture - I am amazed and so so happy!!! Dr Mark Boulcott is a very experienced implantologist and has worked wonders for me. Would recommend this practice without hesitation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Ongoing patient of the practice! I have had no real reason to fear dentists but I was a very anxious patient previously with a habit of avoiding the dentist! I have poor teeth due to a lack of enamel leading to multiple broken teeth, alongside an old injery, that left me with two missing teeth at the front and a dead tooth at the bottom. After becoming engaged I decided enough was enough I wanted my teeth fixed and to explore the option of implants. I didn't want to be reminded of what happend anymore or to put up with a loose denture that rubbed my gums and hurt! I honestly can't recomend this dental practice enough!!! From the moment I signed up to the waiting list to my most recent procedure I've been treated with kindness and compassion throughout! Everyone who works hear takes excellent care of their patients and there is a zero pain policy so even the most 'scary' of procedures becomes a breeze! I've had multiple fillings, old fillings fixed , two implants fitted and bone grafting for the implants (previous dentists had told me this wouldn't be possible due to various issues with the bone. I honestly don't know how he managed it but Mark gave me two beautiful implants and my smile back for the first time in eight years! Also closure for the past! I could not be more appreciative for his skill and hard work if I tried!) I have been seeing two dentists at the practice and both have been outstanding! My mouth used to be sore and I would often have ulsers or such as a result of having poor teeth, but now each time I go another thing is fixed and the pain gets less! I haven't had an infection in age, I can eat on both sides of my mouth and brush without sensitivity or pain anymore, resulting in better ongoing care of my teeth!! I am due a root canal soon however I'm not concerned the way I would have been previously as I trust the team implicitly! Everything has been explained step by step for all my procedures, i was advised to reaserch arround and ensure i was happy with the plan for my teeth and the costings before I began treatment, showing that patients are put first! ... The practice is exctreemly clean and is a calm environment that helps to reduce angziety! .... As for costing I personally feel that anything worth having will cost because you are paying for a standard of care, professionalism and skill, however I have found the practice to be extremely reasonable in what they charge and more than worth it! I won't be using any other dentists ongoing as I am extremely happy with the care I have received hear and could not recomend higher if I tried!!! Fabulous team and an outstanding practice! Going private was the best decision I ever made thankyou you all for everything!!!

Fantastic experience: Having always had NHS dental treatment, which, in recent years, has seemed begrudging, I decided to follow my son’s recommendation and go to Narberth and Herbrandston. As someone who has always had dental issues, seen a dentist every 3 or 6 months throughout life and has undergone painful procedures, my anxiety levels naturally rise with the thought of a dental appointment. However, I was treated with kindness and respect, a thorough examination with Mrs Chandy which included x-rays. Then a detailed list of necessary procedures with coatings, allowing me to make informed decisions about my next steps. My treatment begins in a couple of weeks, and I know I’ll be nervous, however, I also know I’m in gentle and professional hands. I’m excited at the prospect of a confident smile.

I have had an implant and graft which was done with ease in a totally professional, hygienic way. Before this I had the appropriate scans, had the procedure explained thoroughly which put me at ease. I have also had 2 teeth extracted and they were removed so easily that I didn't believe when I was told the procedure was finished. Negative experience: Using this practice has been very disappointing and costly. The management has an unusual approach to customers concerns and complaints; they blame any issues on the customer and their teeth - without bothering to discover from the patient, why they feel let down. We are not alone in finding the general treatment and customer service less than adequate.
