Fantastic experience: Visited today for my yearly check up. Hadn't been with Dr Vas and nurse Mariana before but they were both super friendly and instantly made me feel at ease. Dr Vas thoroughly checked my teeth and gums and gave me some feedback on some very minor concerns, but nothing I needed to be worrying about. The whole process was very quick yet efficient and considering I also had my bi-yearly x-ray, I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to tap in to my savings. Thoroughly recommend Bupa Dental Halstead. All staff are always so lovely, the surgery is always clean and tidy and the even the seats in the waiting area were super comfy.

Fantastic experience: I dislike going to the dentist. But my checkup with Vas on Monday was almost an enjoyable experience. He made me feel welcome and valued and gave me what I felt was the most through checkup I have had for a long time. There was time to discuss any concerns I might have and advice was given about how to continue caring for my teeth. The 2 receptionists on duty (Diana and Clare) remembered me as a long term client and made me feel that I mattered to them, rather than just being another client. They were also professional and helpful. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I am very nervous of going to the dentist, to the point I can’t sleep the night before! Normally my dentist cleans my teeth but because of a change around I have to go to the hygienist for my clean. I visited the Hygienist today for my first appointment. Felix and Issy were absolutely fantastic, what a different experience to what I had expected. They immediately put me at ease and Felix listened to everything I had to say. Normally I have full numbing injections but Felix said that I really didn’t need them, but said that if I was in any discomfort he would stop and give me injections. I took his advice and I am so pleased that I did. He was so gentle and took his time, I have to say that they were both amazing. I definitely won’t be scared of going to the hygienist anymore. Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting Bupa Dental Care Halstead for a couple of years now, and over the past year, I’ve had to come in for a few emergency appointments. As someone who suffers from medical anxiety, going to the dentist has always been a daunting experience, but this practice has completely changed that for me. From the moment I walk through the door, I feel more at ease. The reception staff and nurses always offer the warmest and genuine greetings, which genuinely helps to calm my nerves. Their friendliness never feels forced, just genuinely caring people doing their best to make you feel welcome. Dr. Vasile, my dentist, has been absolutely impeccable. From day one, he has been calm, compassionate, and incredibly professional. He takes the time to explain each step of the treatment, which really helps me feel more in control and safe. I can honestly say there’s no one I trust more when it comes to my dental care. The nurses are equally amazing. They frequently check in during procedures to make sure I’m okay, something that might be standard practice, or maybe they can just tell I’m a bit anxious, but either way, it’s so reassuring. On one occasion, a nurse even showed me some pictures on her phone that related to something we had been chatting about before the treatment. Whether it was meant as a distraction or just a thoughtful moment, it worked. I felt completely at ease, and it made the experience so much better. Mariana, who has supported me during my most recent visits, deserves a special mention. She’s so lovely and clearly cares about her patients and her work. She checks in constantly throughout the treatment, even when I’m sitting a little rigid with nerves for no real reason and her calm presence makes such a difference. Thank you, Mariana, for always putting me at ease. To Dr. Vasile, thank you. Your kindness, professionalism, and quality of care have made a world of difference for someone like me who used to dread dental visits. Fantastic experience: I went for my first dental check up in decades today, and I was definitely imagining every worse case scenario possible. I’m literally terrified of the dentist and have been since forever. Fantastic experience: I had my first visit to Bupa yesterday and found everyone to be friendly and welcoming. Not being the fan of the dentist it’s been many years since my last visit, but I was very impressed with Vas and Marianna. Vas was able to fix my filling there and then and explained what he was going to do which made me feel more at ease.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an appointment with the NHS dentist (adults). I had a broken tooth and was fully expecting to lose it completely. I was delighted that instead it was repaired. Both the dentist and his dental nurse (Mariana in room 5) were friendly and professional and I was very pleased with the way the appointment went.

Fantastic experience: Had bleeding gums and pain for four years and final went to the dentist, had one visit with them and pain gone and the bleeding has stop. The place is clean, welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend and i felt really reasonably priced as well.

Positive experience: Superb care and attention from our dentist and his nurse. I am currently with a crutch and was immediately offered a west whilst my children were seen to. They were treated appropriately and helpfully and, as always, the thoughtfulness in approach (especially when considering their orthodontic treatment elsewhere) was fantastic! The only slight flaw in our visit was admin based but the team on the desk were patient and polite and we hope it is resolved for next time.

Fantastic experience: Gentle and caring surgery, from the reception to the dentist, I am so nervous when it comes to dentists this was the best experience I have had in my entire life of going to the dentist. Fantastic experience: Bupa Dental Care is an amazing dental practice, I have had loads of treatment over the past 18 months and I cannot fault the team at all. Anita always makes me feel comfortable and she is confident in the treatment she is providing, making sure I'm informed at every stage throughout. When I did question my treatment, I was able to speak directly to the practice manager and to Anita via a phone call. This put my mind at ease and answered all my questions and worries. Kate and all the dental nurses are professional and caring through all my appointments and the front of house team are friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: If your thinking of getting new dentures think again as a private paying person the treatment is disgusting rude the new dentures are horrible. The lady was called Anita avoid avoid avoid This lady dentist is rude and not just once but also infront of everyone i have logged a formal complaint Also the practice manager. Is lucky I didn't call the police to unbuckle your belt and zip drop your trousers in the waiting room to do your shirt is disgusting This is not even funny Please don't waste your money go else It seems customer service And speaking to people nicely isn't for them I don't expect this as a private paying person I've been promised a refund of £1300 which they haven't done I have a Email to confirm this I've now got the ombudsman and courts involved as this is a joke now Please please don't give them your hard earned money

Negative experience: Dentist is amazing however the receptionist service is diabolical. I am a private patient and I am getting so tired of calling constantly and my calls are never answered. I need to book a service which I can’t do online, does anyone ever get through? 5 separate calls today and every time they are too busy to answer yet when I go in it’s like ghost town? Definitely not the private service I pay for.

Fantastic experience: I can't praise Bupa Dental Care Halstead enough. Having Dentophobia for many years, due mainly to unpleasant experiences in the 70's and 80's, I, for many years, have only visited the dentist when I really needed to. Since having a BUPA dental plan with my company I decided that I need to overcome my anxieties and attend regular appointments. I chose the Halstead practice and I'm so glad I did. For the first time in over 30 years, I walk in to the practice completely relaxed and at ease. Neil and Hannah make me feel at ease from the moment my name is called (the calling of my name has always been an anxious experience) to the moment I leave. The vibe and the room makes me feel relaxed and the team are absolutely brilliant and very welcoming. I’m made to feel at ease from the outset. I can't thank Neil, Hannah and the entire team at Halstead enough for ridding over 30 years of anxiety. My only regret... I didn't find them sooner. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so very, very much!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve came in for a couple fillings today and I have to say what a lovely bunch of staff from the get go they were so welcoming and kind.Vas and Mariana was so calm and patient, Vas explained everything really thoroughly so I knew exactly what they were doing.
