Fantastic experience: I recently changed to Flint House and it’s an amazing visit from the minute you enter the dental practice. Lynn, the receptionist, is super helpful and and knowledgeable and friendly and always keeps me up to date with any appointments that occasionally run late. I see David Carr and he is amazing, he explains everything thoroughly and has time for all my questions, many of which I feel are stupid but I need to ask ! Pip the dental nurse is really friendly and kind and gentle. I have had fillings and extractions and dentures done recently and the appointments and service and end product, so to speak, are just perfect. I can’t thank the staff enough for their consistent hard work - you are all Stars xxx

They have camera equipment with a large monitor to show before and after pictures of your treatment. You can also join a dental scheme to spread the cost and get discount on your treatment. I recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Such a positive experience, there’s not one negative I can find. I’ve just changed to David at Flint House. I had three composite fillings and they are perfect, the care and skill is second to none, his nurse Pip works along side him like a telepathic support system, hardly any words needed between them as they work together like a well oiled machine. I felt very relaxed while listening to a soothing playlist of background music, no stress what so ever. There’s so many positive things about this practice; the efficient receptionist, parking on site, well explained treatment plan, the list goes on and on. This was my first appointment with the intention of looking for a new dentist for now and the future and I will certainly be going back, I feel like I’ve struck gold.

The receptionist was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease. The dentist was kind, professional, and very informative, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly. I felt well cared for and would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a supportive and professional dental team.

Fantastic experience: I phoned for an emergency appointment and obtained one quickly. Everyone at Flint House from the receptionist who organised my appointment, to Trush, my dentist, was kind and professional. The tooth was permanently repaired on the spot avoiding a return visit. Trush explained each step of the repair process which I found reassuring. She ensured I was comfortable throughout. Their offices are zen and calming. I recommend Flint House Dental without reservation.

Fantastic experience: Absolute 5 star service throughout! I’ve run the complete gauntlet from dental hygiene visits, check ups involving fillings by the ever diligent and caring Trusha to a journey into tooth implant surgery with David. I ‘was’ such a frightened/nervous patient going in and I needn’t have been! David & Trusha have the gentlest of manner putting you fully at ease. They have a very modern practice so comfortable and cosy you honestly wouldn’t know you were in the scare chair. If anyone is contemplating tooth implant surgery I can highly recommend David….he walks you through the entire process step by step throughout. Hand on heart I can safely say that I’ve had more pain from a paper cut than I had during the implant process. It was absolutely PAINLESS! And the end result is simply amazing giving me back the confidence to laugh again! Thank you David, Trusha, the nurses and reception staff for making it such a pleasant experience!

They really seem to care at Flint House Dental, always happy to answer questions and I never feel rushed or that I am just a ‘number’. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently had several appointments and treatments with David and he’s always taken the time to thoroughly explain what he’s doing and why. Many people are now having to look outside of the NHS for dental treatment due to lack of availability and this practice has made it a very easy experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff who take the time to get to know you as well as having the most up to date technology available. I’d absolutely recommend David and the team at Flint House without any hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Always receive a really high standard of care and treatment. Trusha is wonderful and all the staff are friendly and professional. The surgery is clean and modern and free parking area is a bonus.

Fantastic experience: I have a mixed relationship with dentists as I have had good and bad experiences in the past, especially with a bit of a dental phobia to deal with. I am happy to say that Flint House Dental is one of the good ones, especially Dr David Carr. Dr. Carr takes the time to explain what he is doing and why and also takes care in improving comfort where he is able. He will show x-rays and photos of problem areas to explain what is wrong and what needs to be done, then will show before/after photos so you know what work has been done. Regarding improving comfort, I recently had to have a filling done on a wisdom tooth and I mentioned that I have a rather sensitive gag reflex, so Dr Carr and his nurse took the extra effort and adjusted their procedure as to reduce the chances of making making me gag. It was definitely appreciated as I have had dentists in the past totally ignore that issue. I have no problem recommending them as a dental practise for anyone but can especially vouch for them if you are like me and are apprehensive about dental procedures. You will struggle to find better!

Negative experience: Note this review is from a phone call not a visit - I was calling to find out if any mitigations / accommodations are being made for clinically vulnerable patients - mainly has the practice continued using proper respirator masks that address airborne viruses or have they gone back to the baggy blue surgical masks - that don't - and are HEPA type air filters in use. I get that the norm is now to ignore covid but is switching to a more protective mask, that the patient is prepared to provide, really asking too much to allow immune compromised or otherwise clinically vulnerable people safer access to healthcare? The receptionist checked with a dentist and came back with a resounding no - they are not prepared to wear a respirator mask for a specific customer if asked. As above, I have no experience of the service just this one small aspect.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, first rate experience! Perfectly gentle and they use the latest modern ultrasound and water pressure tools available. Not once did that annoying and dreaded metal pick tool touch my teeth! Such a bonus, 100% returning and the staff is amazing and beautiful.

Fantastic experience: I attended Flint House Dental as a new patient for my first check up and a hygienist appointment. In both appointments, I was informed what would happen, my questions were answered, my issues were discussed and the care and treatment I received was outstanding. I am an anxious patient but both Trusha and Monika were very gentle with me and I felt very relaxed. The Reception staff were very warm and welcoming and the building in itself is beautiful!

Fantastic experience: I honestly couldn't thank this dentist enough. I came in last year with awful teeth. Not once did they say how bad there were or made me feel terrible. They came up with a plan and I paid at each appointment, which gave me enough time to put money aside. I have had all my teeth removed and replaced with dentures. I was looked after each extractions, both by the dentist and the dental nurse. My teeth look incredible, you would never know they are fake and my confidence has grown so much, I got even got a new job! Thank you everyone at Flint House Dental. Would definitely recommend.
