I’ve been coming here for now over 3 years, seeing regularly dentist Heena for my checkups and dentist Gintare for the hygiene. Both are great doctors and very friendly people: they make you feel comfortable and at home. At the same time they carry out thorough exams and procedures without you feeling any discomfort or pain. Also all the people working at the front desk are incredible: they help you with filing insurance claims on your behalf (what a relief), schedule all the follow-up appointments and they are always smiling and chatting, brining so much joy and fun! The dentist Morgan Clark is one of the best professionals I have tried my whole life - I’ve been a hefty and constant user of dental services since my early toddler age and have been attempting dentists in several countries, cities, and different areas of London. She is a highly detail-oriented professional who is careful, kind, and smiling - which is rare in London. While working on a hygiene procedure, it seems she is carving a delicate sculpture in marble. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience. Normally I am very nervous at the dentist but the team at St Mary Axe made me feel very welcome and calm. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient. My dentist Heena and nurse Shamina were excellent and put me at ease immediately.

Negative experience: Following removal of a wisdom tooth I was left in often excruciating pain. They told me to take Ibuprofen to "manage" the pain. After guzzling Ibuprofen for a week I went back to be told that everything looked fine & they refused to prescribe any more effective pain relief. A miserable & thoroughly unsatisfactory experience.

Negative experience: I was only 6-7 mins late to an hygienist appointment and was told I would lose about 10 mins of my appointment time- for a service that costs almost £150. Really inconvenient now that I need to find another place for my appointment and such a waste of my time. Receptionist is also very unhelpful.

Negative experience: been a happy customer of this branch only until last year. I needed a crown on a tooth which was already been filed down by another dentist abroad. the dentist was aware that i am suffering from nighttime bruxism. the crown was made very short compared to the original tooth size and didn't touch the opposite tooth at all. as soon as treatment was completed my bite felt slightly off. i started to get pain on another tooth where the force of the bite was too much, so went back to the dentist to get it checked. i was told it's bc of my teeth grinding. time went by and pain increased, a few months later i raised a complain. i asked to see the dentist to discuss but this was not possible, all i was offered was to come for an emergency/checkup appointment for 80£ or have a meeting with the dentist and the branch manager. Obv I went for the second option. The dentist explained to me that it's because of the grinding and it was impossible to do the crown bigger because of the previous work done by the dentist abroad, which is fair enough. Still if the crown cannot be done in a way to maintain a healthy bite then it shouldn´t be proceeded. The malocclusion in combination with the grinding now has caused substantial collateral damage to other healthy teeth over the past year so did not just waste almost a grand but need to expect further costs, not mentioning the pain, utterly disappointed.

Negative experience: Utterly disorganized and super rude about it. You make an appointment, they book it as two (cleaning and check up) and send you one calendar invitation for the SECOND appointment, you show up for the second appointment and they tell you you’re far too late, site duplicative texts they sent to you the night before. More interested in managing egos and taking your money than doing any dental care. Trust me, I tried three times. As the comment below notes I was 45 minutes late. That is true: late to the first appointment. They they did not send a calendar Invitation for that, but did for the second. It’s a chaotic back-office process that sends you a calendar invitation for one and not the other. Sometimes you get an appointment confirmation other times no. You can be chaotic and nice about it—“our bad it turns out the calendar invite amid our marketing spam emails was only for the second appointment, could we reschedule for xyz time?” That is not the energy here. When my wife left her appointment you forgot to charge her £5 for some Covid safety add-on. You called her and asked her to come back to pay, and when she said she was not physically returning asked her to call back in two hours to pay the person who can take payment over the phone was in. You truly can’t imagine people have anything to do but correspond with their dentist. Have discussed at length with you enough. I would appreciate is a refund for the services you did not provide, but you are unwilling to refund and unwilling to do work. Short of that, your back office chaos belies organization and priorities that should be a red flag to others.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Bupa St Mary Axe with Dr Heena for about a year now for various treatments that I needed. She has always been extremely professional, as well as very warm and friendly. She has been very patient in answering any of my questions or concerns and makes sure I have all of the information I need before going ahead with treatment - it’s clear that she knows what she is talking about. She also makes the effort to make sure I understand everything she is doing during treatment and that I am comfortable throughout and can’t feel any pain. She has put a lot of time and care in to each of my appointments and I have never felt that any of my appointments have been rushed. My teeth now look amazing and are much healthier than they were a year ago so thank you very much Heena! :)

Fantastic experience: I was treated by Karl and his wonderful dental nurse. The service was great, and everything was explained to me very clearly regarding my options and the procedure. I needed a tricky filling on a front tooth which I have had done twice before at other practices, and its not looked great. However, this time it looks better than the original! Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Fantastic experience: I've been incredibly well looked after by Dr Mubeen, who couldn't be more patient with me and detail-oriented. He fixed my bite perfectly after I had a bad experience with Invisalign at another clinic. I'm quite particular about the results and he answered every question, and arranged enough visits to get me the exact result I wanted, always with a smile and never once making me feel like I was being too picky. My result is fantastic, my Essix retainers are perfectly formed and fit really well (I had to bin other Essix retainers from my previous ortho as they had lumps and didn't fit my teeth properly). Dr Mubeen was lovely and kind and patient throughout. The clinic is well looked after by the front desk staff who are always friendly and efficient, the waiting times were absolutely minimal, pricing was super clear, competitive and agreed on upfront. I thought it would be much more expensive than other clinics but honestly the quotes I got were very comparable, and the level of service, professionalism and organisation was miles above others.

Fantastic experience: Dr Heena is a lifesaver. I have a serious phobia of dentists that has prevented me from going for +10 years. While I'm still very nervous about the mountain of dental work still ahead, this is the first dentist I'm not terrified to visit - she's been kind and helpful and made things as painless as possible.
