Negative experience: Conveniently charges for the wrong thing (assessment) rather than a filling so that they don't need to honor their guarantee. 2 attempts at a filling, one lasted 6 weeks, one lasted 5 days.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment yesterday with Simon and his lovely nurse. I am terrified of the dentist and had a broken wisdom tooth which had become badly infected. My tooth was removed with no pain and they really put me at ease. I am so grateful to them and the reception lady. Thank you so much

Fantastic experience: I spoke with Karen today and she was absolutely fantastic! As a self-confessed dentist phobe, I was quite anxious about calling, but Karen immediately put me at ease with her kindness, professionalism, and lovely sense of humour. She made the registration process simple and answered all my questions with ease and patience. Every business needs people like Karen, she’s a true credit to the team and really makes all the difference!

Fantastic experience: I had my most recent appointment with Troy & Emily and they gave me a very professional service and spoke me through options, I’m sure the receptionist was also called Em she delivered a very professional and friendly. Never had a hygienist experience here was a very good experience compared to prior experiences at other private practices, so big thank you to the team at Bupa Great Dunmow.

Fantastic experience: I recently rang at 9.05 with what I thought I was going to loose a front tooth! Not that I have any modelling appointments booked but this I was not looking forward to. I was impressed to be offered an appointment with my chosen dentist at 2.30 . I duly with some trepidation and I was called in on time! In seconds she told me no loss of tooth, no crown ,just replace a filling!! I was mighty relieved and was on my was home by 2.50. Many thanks to Kasha and all the team for excellent quick and pain free service!!!

The practice needs to keep hold of her as she will be missed by so many. Its hard to find a decent dentist and her dentistry is brilliant and always happy to go the extra mile every time. X

Fantastic experience: Very inviting and welcoming receptionist. The dentist solmas was fantastic. She did a composite restoration on my front teeth and the results were amazing . The nurse was also very support as I’m very nervous . I also visited the hygienist Troy Jacas and have never had a more gentle reassuring treatment . He was kind and calming .

Fantastic experience: Are you nervous about visiting the dentist - please read this review :-) I have always been scared of visiting the dentist as a child in the 70's right up to the present day. Until recently, I still had to take my husband as a chaperone and burst into tears as I sat in the chair. Right up until I met Sol, the amazing dentist at Bupa Dunmow. Today, I actually went on my own to have a filling done and there was no drama. She is kind, calming, a wonderful person and an amazing dentist, especially for people like me who was scared of visiting - not anymore - Thank you Sol!

Fantastic experience: I had 2 fillings done by Mary H. at Bupa and she truely has been the most caring dentist I ever met. I told her that after the filling I still felt some sensitivity in my tooth and she called me every Monday to check the status of the deminishing pain. Eventually all went super well! If you want a dentist who cares about your teeth you are at the right place! Well done Mary & Team!

Fantastic experience: I was offered treatment that I never thought I would be able to have, Sol is amazing, polite, skillful, and very thorough, my daughter, son and myself love her character very much. The practices has a very relaxed atmosphere, and we are treated with great respect by the receptionist when we arrive. They make you feel very welcome. Just an update on this review I put, I received the dentures that I was offered this Monday, and they are amazing, out of this world, you would n't know they aren't real, I have two big gaps down the bottom, where I had an abscesss in both teeth, well you wouldn't know I have gaps. Fantastic experience: Emily is an amazing dentist! Stop your searching and just register here! I was scared of visiting the dentist as I needed a lot of work done and Emily made me feel comfortable. Her technique of injecting numbing solution is incredible and gentle, previously with other dentists I’ve hated this part as it can be painful but you can barely feel it with the way she does it, genuinely shocked and I wish other dentists would do it this way!! She’s kind, funny and professional, she will give you her honest opinion and is realistic about time frames and future possibilities to look out for, making it easier to budget! I’ve had my work done, teeth whitened and I love my smile now! No more closed mouth photos and I even vamped my routine with a waterpik! I struggled with anxiety of seeing Dentists for years and went to a lot of dentists but I enjoy the half yearly clean and a check up now. Shout out to Pat on reception too for being lovely at the front door xoxo

Negative experience: My daughter just rang them to get an appointment, we have been with this practice for over 15 years (before it was Bupa) and she has been told that she is no longer on the books, I rang up myself and was told that I and my wife were no longer on the books either, apparently we were sent letters in oct 2019 that we would be taken off (my wife went to them during the lockdown time for an emergency filling so this is wrong) An absolute disgrace of a dentist to do this to people in these days where it is hard enough to get a dentist this is a joke, especially when my daughter was told “we are not taking NHS patients but we can get you in tomorrow as a private, £78” just an excuse to rob people.

Negative experience: After having a x ray I was informed that there was tooth decay. I was not told when to come back in and it was not classed as an emergency. By the time I was seen the tooth decay had progressed that much the only option was extraction. Apparently dentist does not have to inform you or keep track of their patients to have work done even when they know there is a problem.

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend enough. I suffer from anxiety and fear of dentist but Sol and her team made the experience so much easier for me. After needing an extraction I naturally panic but they made me feel comfortable and at ease and the whole experience was 100% pain free. Sol and her team will be my number 1 dentist of choice.

Fantastic experience: At nearly 62, I am still really nervous about visiting the dentist. But my dentist, Solmaz Samaee (Sol) is so lovely. She explains everything to you and gives you lots of confidence. Her nurses are lovely too, as are the reception team. While I was waiting to pay, Sols next patient was sitting in the waiting room. A young boy who also looked a bit nervous! But Sol soon had him smiling. How I wish I'd had a dentist like her at that age. I may not be the quivering wreck that I am now! Lol!

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient who has avoided going to the dentist for 20+ years. I have recently had a terrible toothache that needed attention and ended up signing up with Bupa Dental Care Great Dunmow. I was seen by April and Sophie who were absolutely fabulous - really understanding of my fear, caring and friendly. I have seen them a few times now and had a filling put in - the procedure was painless (I was fearing pain the most - I literally could not feel a thing!). April and Sophie kept checking if I was ok and kept explaining what they were during throughout the procedure which was great. I have since seen Kelly the hygienist who was equally lovely and gave me a new smile by getting rid of all plaque and tartar - this was mostly painless too! Negative experience: Definitely I would give it zero star, but Google reviews is too nice, zero respect with new patients Private , the receptionist they are rude and useless, had first time very bad experience with them, gave it another try and just showed me I should never step there again!!!!! They have to learn how to work with people before start a business. Disgusting place!!
