Fantastic experience: I have had wonderful service from both dentist and dental hygienist this year. Earlier in the year I had emergency treatment at short notice. It has served me well and I have just completed my treatment to date. My teeth are not in good shape - historical not current events! However I have been well pleased and have confidence in future treatment.

Fantastic experience: Well I never thought I'd ever be writing a review detailing how much I enjoyed a visit to a dentist for treatment and yet here we are! I appreciate that this is Private Medicine and that one is paying for it but I claim that you can tell if someone genuinely cares or if they're putting it on as part of their duties, and the team at Scott McLean are the real deal. Always welcoming, cheerful and consistently concerned for the patient's welfare. I went in for a Dental Implant to replace a molar and was blown away by the CT scan and other incredible Technologies and toys that they have at their disposal, in particular the many CGI videos detailing what was going on. Everything was carried out carefully and thoroughly and the procedure itself has to be THE least invasive and NON-painful dental procedure I've ever had, which is remarkable when you consider that at one point they are actually drilling into jawbone. The whole process is meticulously thorough and carried out with exceptional care, clear, consistent communications and consideration by these (clearly very qualified and experienced) people, and I have to say that not only am I chuffed to bits with the result and at being able to eat on the other side of my mouth again after 15 years of not, but I found the whole process enjoyable and great fun from start to finish. Best £2.5k I've ever spent without question. Brilliant. I'm certainly NOT saying that I'm eagerly looking forward to my next dental abscess due to nerves dying beneath old fillings causing the removal of a tooth due to negligible dental hygiene as a lazy little boy half a century ago, but I AM saying that if and when that happens I'll know what to do about it and where to go!!

Fantastic experience: My 1st visit to Scott and his team the other day, all staff were friendly and very professional and the facilities are spotlessly clean and modern, Scott was excellent throughout my procedure and explained everything to put me at ease. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: 1st visit since practice changed hands for 6 months check up. All staff friendly & welcoming. I felt well informed about what was happening & received helpful advice. Luckily didn’t need any treatment & a bonus that my scale & polish was done there & then, unlike the previous dentist where you had to make a 2nd appointment which was inconvenient & a complete waste of a precious appointment for someone else! Due to his PTSD my partner won’t attend any other dentist other than Scott (we were patients at his previous practice), and we have just had our first hygienist appointment with Jen, who was also reassuring & patient with us. The practice looks fab & is easy to find. There is on street parking close by on either side of street. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend McLean Dental!

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to the practice and I was immediately made to feel very welcome and at ease by the very friendly Karen on Reception. I was very impressed with the thorough check up and detailed explanation that I received from Scott. Equally, by Jen the hygienist who performed a very thorough scale and polish explaining how to maintain healthy teeth and gums. Apologies for not remembering everyone’s names but the Assistants was just lovely and friendly too. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a friendly and professional local dental service. I can honestly say it’s the best visit to the dentist I’ve ever had!
