Fantastic experience: I can not exspress enough how much i recommend this dental surgery for people with intence fears of the dentist i wash i had came to Lubino and Emily a long time ago. I have always had an intence fear of the dentist even putting up with pain rather than go to a dentist. I needed a lot of work done on my teeth it affected my self confidence my mentle health i was shying away from talking and meeting new people. Just after 2 weeks of getting some of the big treatments done i feel like a new person i can smile without covering my mouth or looking down. The biggest point i have to make is im 45 ive had this fear from childhood but with Lubino and Emily they have actually made me want to go back. Lubino had me laugh in the middle of my surgery. Emily really listened to me on my 1st consaltaion and homed in on what i needed done to make me feel like me again. I never thought i would say this about going to a dentist but im kindo looking forward to seeing them again.

Fantastic experience: Made an appointment for my wife, ( Alzheimer's ) sufferer. Got appointment very quickly on day and time to suit. Completing the BUPA online info was simple and smooth. On arrival, Reception was friendly and straightforward. Manager, Pauline, came through to speak to us. The Reception area is very nice. Karen, Dentist, was very friendly, understanding, caring and professional in checking and treatment. Same with her Nurse. The follow-up treatment was booked very quickly by Reception. Pauline spoke to us when we were finished. Superb service. Confident that treatment will go well. Would wholeheartedly recommend .

Fantastic experience: All I can say is absolutely amazing! As someone who was terrified of the dentist after 3 previous traumas, I finally took the decision to go as my dental issues were taking away my life. It was the best decision I've ever made. Yes, the first visit was traumatic for me, but the care and understanding I got from Lubino and Emily was beyond amazing! I cannot thank them enough, they changed my life. I had quite a bit of treatment, all of which was excellent from start to finish, I can now smile again with confidence and can honestly say I'm no longer afraid to visit the dentist, never in a million years did I think that phrase would be said by me! Fantastic experience: Hi I can't thank all the team enough in the Bupa Dental care queensferry! As I came in with my mum thinking all she had a sore side of her face but Dr Lubino do Rego said she needs to go to the hospital, so then he wrote a referal letter for her to take to the hospital and luckily he did as the hospital was mobbed but due to the letter she got seen to fast. I am so grateful he reached out and took further action as my mum then got kept in and got the help she needed. Couldn't thank you all enough again !!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing team from the min i walked through the door with more than a one wobbly tooth.. i was given the devastating news of gum disease till i received gum surgery and they helped to save my teeth. i could not be more thankful to be able to smile not only with a full mouth, but confidentiality each n every day... Each and everyone of the staff members Went over and beyond to help me that day..till now. Fantastic experience: A Life-Saving Team – Forever Grateful to Bupa South Queensferry I cannot recommend the team at Bupa South Queensferry highly enough. I’ve been a patient there for several years and have always left with a smile – literally. Over time, I’ve gotten to know Lubino, Dr. Rania Savidi, and Emily, and funnily enough, it turned out that Lubino is not only part of the practice but also a neighbour and a fellow parent at my daughter's school. What happened last Sunday morning at an unthinkable hour has left me in awe and filled with gratitude. My husband began experiencing severe pain in his left chest and arm. Recognising the symptoms of a heart attack, I called 999. After confirming that it was, in fact, a heart attack, the emergency services told me that an ambulance could take over an hour and fifteen minutes to arrive. Out of desperation, I picked up the phone and called Lubino at 2:30am. Within five minutes, he was at our door. He understood immediately how serious the situation was and drove my husband straight to the hospital himself. His phone battery had died, but somehow he managed to arrange for Dr Avis Dacosta, also part of the Bupa team, and Dr. Rania Savidi to come to my house so I could go to the hospital — I’m a mother of three, including a 14-month-old, and my children were asleep. These incredible people came out in the early hours of a Sunday morning, some bringing their own children, others leaving theirs, just to help. It didn’t stop there. Lubino had Emily on standby from the early hours, ready to attend to the patient at the practice once he finished at A&E. My husband actually went into cardiac arrest in the A&E waiting area, and if it weren’t for Lubino’s quick thinking and action, he wouldn’t be with us today. And still, after all that, Lubino went on to open the practice to treat a girl he had met at A&E earlier that morning who needed urgent dental care. His team pulled together in a way that goes beyond words. They showed up not just as professionals, but as humans, neighbours, and friends. These are exceptional people who make up a truly outstanding team. They went above and beyond for my family, and I can never thank them enough. Because of them, my children still have their father, and I was able to leave them in the safest, kindest hands during the scariest moment of our lives. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Fantastic experience: Cannot thank this dental team enough, i fell over a weekend and my whole front tooth fell out, others chipped as well. I happened to meet Lubino in A&E that night (sheer luck) and out the kindness of his heart he opened his doors at 9am on a Sunday morning and him and his dental nurse Emily put my tooth back in! I genuinely cannot thank this pair enough they were so positive and supportive towards me even though it was a weekend and they were probably both on very little sleep. After they put my tooth back in they were still extremely worried about me and continued to check up on me later that day and the following day. When I explained to them what my dentist had told me they dropped everything to make a difference for me that someone else wouldn't, they stayed back after the clinic closed and worked longer to continue with my immediate treatment. Again i cannot thank Lubino and Emily enough for being such kind caring people and i would also like to say thank you to the whole team for letting me come in on a Sunday and stay back on a Monday. I have never experienced kindness like this and i am so so grateful to have bumped into Lubino that night. One more thing, Emily and Lubino make a great team and if you’re lucky to have them for your dental treatment they will keep you calm with good music going always!!

Lubino replaced my daughter’s tooth in an emergency appointment this morning after a dancing incident in a nightclub Lubino was calm, putting both my daughter and I at ease. I was impressed that Emily seems to know what he needs before he does, a perfect assistant. Emily was a star ⭐ ⭐️⭐️, she came in on a Sunday morning to help with the treatment, she was calm, empathetic and enthusiastic. Thank you doesn’t seem enough!

After trying for 3 days to get antibiotics, (and being passed from pillar to post!) he was seen, booked in, assessed, advised, and antibiotics given by Lubino. Special shoutout to the receptionist, Gail, who was lovely! A smashing team!

Fantastic experience: Lubino and Emily are the best dental due I have ever came across! I came in with terrible pain and a cracked tooth for a quick emergency 30 min consultation and they immediately acted with an extraction to eliminate my pain and totally put me at ease, great music, clear instructions on what was being done and a really relaxed atmosphere plus I didn't feel a thing to the point I was nearly singing along to the music as he took the tooth out! Initially told it would be over a month for the next appointment, but the team managed to get me in within a few days. Fantastic experience: Superb! I had my hygiene treatment earlier today. The Reception colleagues were super-helpful and fitted me in following a cancellation, which was very convenient for me. The hygienist, Ben, supported by Alex were friendly and utterly professional. As a patient who they had not treated before, I explained my concerns and how treatment works best for me, and it was one of the easiest and stress-free scale and polish treatment I have ever had. Not only that - it was much better value for money compared with my other Bupa dental practice in London which I have used in the past. Fantastic experience: Amazing hygienist Ben Walls!!! The appointment was at 10am and it started right on time. The hygienist Ben Walls was so kind and gentle. I have tried many hygienists and no one has been this gentle with my teeth. He even cleaned out a brace cement piece that I had for ages but no other hygienist got rid of!!! I always felt it was weird on my tooth to have this little bump but no one ever took notice of it while cleaning my teeth. He is just so great and I cannot praise him enough. Alexa was helping him in the appointment, she was gentle and great too. Totally love the place and experience. This will be my go to place from now on! Thanks a lot!

Fantastic experience: Having registered as a patient at this practice after the COVID lockdowns I knew that I needed dental work and quite honestly, I was nervous prior to my first appointment. As soon as I met the team, I wished I had registered sooner, and I knew I had made a wise decision. I am no longer nervous prior to my check-ups and the repair work required has been minimal, thanks to the advice from Ben and Lubino. I could not have expected to feel as happy with my teeth as I do, I only wish I had been a patient years ago! If you are a nervous patient, I feel confident that the approach from the team here will help you greatly. From scheduling an appointment with the friendly receptionists Beckie and Karen, to being welcomed into the treatment room and cared for by the nurses, Emily and Susanne, you couldn’t ask for a more friendly, professional and efficient service. The knowledge, support and care from the entire team is like nothing I have experienced elsewhere, and I would urge people looking for a dentist who offers high quality patient care to register with this practice.

Fantastic experience: There’s no words to express how thankful I am for Bupa Dental Care team for taking care of my 8yo son. We had an emergency visit last night. Team of professionals has been there for us out of practice hours, providing highest quality service and huge emotional support. My son is not even their patient , but we have been seen by doctor anyway.(other places I was contacting that time , refused to see my child for that reason) There was tooth extraction nesesery and Dentist approach to my child was absolutely brilliant. Every stage of treatment was explained very well and whole team made sure both of us , me and my son , understood everything correctly. Fantastic experience: I had neglected my dental care for a long time and I was embarrassed about my teeth, but knew they needed sorted. I have just completed my treatments which included a few fillings, two tooth extractions and a root canal, which Lubino and Emily recommended. I wasn’t sure if the third tooth could even be saved considering the damage, Lubino has successfully repaired the tooth! I’ve been very grateful to Lubino and Emily who have been with me through the majority of my treatments. Both have made me feel so comfortable during each visit having a good laugh and it really makes the difference. Lubino and Emily are incredibly talented and you know you’re in good hands with them. They’ve made coming to the dentist an enjoyable experience, as I used to be nervous when I was young. When it came to the root canal I was always told by friends and family that it was meant to be scary and painful. Lubino and Emily carried this treatment out so professionally and with great care and it was a breeze! I am so thankful to Lubino, Emily and the rest of the team at this practice. Lubino is an experienced professional who can lift your spirits and will give you the best care possible. Emily is very knowledgeable, kind and attentive. It’s the first time I’ve been able to enjoy eating without any pain in almost 10 years. Lubino had even taken time out of his day to phone and check up on how my treatment was going and it’s very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone considering it. I've had trouble keeping bleeding gums under control; after following advice provided by Lubino my gums are no longer bleeding after only 5 weeks! Thank you do much! Update May 2024. After going to the Bupa dentist for 3 years, service continues to be high quality and professional. Couldn't recommend highly enough. In particular I want to call out the excellent solution to an ongoing bleeding gum. Through care and attention, a solution was the main focus of the dentist and hygienist. The problem has now been eradicated by the use of a professional whitening agent. Great thinking outside of the box. Thank you so very much.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a checkup appointment with Lubino, the dentist, at Bupa Dental Care, and I wanted to express my extreme satisfaction with the care I received from the entire team. Lubino's attentiveness and expertise were truly outstanding. During my checkup, He discovered I had gum overgrowth, likely due to side effects from medication I was taking. Nurse Emily quickly identified the issue and brought it to Lubino's attention. Lubino took immediate charge and demonstrated exceptional care. He not only diagnosed the gum overgrowth but also proactively contacted my GP practice to discuss the medication and explore alternative options. He ensured I received the best possible care plan moving forward. His attentiveness went above and beyond, and he even called me personally to check on how I was feeling afterwards! This level of genuine concern is rare and truly made a difference in my experience. The hygienist, Ben, was also fantastic. My appointment included a cleaning, and Ben made sure it was as comfortable as possible. I experienced very little pain throughout the procedure. Overall, my experience at Bupa Dental Care was outstanding. Lubino, Emily, and Ben are a credit to the practice, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a caring and professional team. Fantastic experience: My son went for his first dental filling last week. He is 17 however he was still so nervous (heightened by his autism) of the procedure. Lubo the dentist done a fantastic job of making the procedure pain free and talking about random things and playing music to take his mind off it. My journey to relief was taxing and my concerns were initially overlooked by the standard channels, leading me to seek private care. Dr. do Rego was pivotal during this arduous time. His dedication went beyond the call of duty; he offered me unwavering support and direct assistance that significantly contributed to my diagnosis and subsequent treatment plan. Dr. do Rego is not only an expert in his field, but he is also an individual with an empathetic ear and a compassionate heart.

Positive experience: The treatment I have had from Lubino since I needed an emergency diagnosis and fix with a temporary filling to then getting the filling has been very good - It's just as well his dental nurse Emily is there though to keep his humour under control, she is very good and they're a good team.

Fantastic experience: I attended BUPA after not having a dentist appt since pre-covid. I’m not the most relaxed at the dentist but was put at ease as soon as I walked through the door with attention from the reception staff. I had an appt with Sonia, and she was informative and very gentle throughout the appointment. The attention to detail was excellent as she spotted a wisdom tooth that required removal and referred me to have it removed before it impacted on my next wisdom tooth. Fantastic experience: I cannot to thank Dr Libino and Emily enough for how they looked after my 9 year old daughter Anna when she knocked her adult front tooth out. Dr Libino and Emily were just amazing with my daughter who was in a situation when we had to get the tooth back in and she had never had an injection in her mouth before. It unfortunately took 4 hours before my daughter would take an injection but Dr Libino perservered by taking his time with my daughter and gaining her trust to eventually having about 3/4 injections to get her tooth back in. The whole surgery team were amazing by cancelling and reorganising things behind the scenes to allow Dr Libino give my daughter the treatment she needed. Dr Libino managed to get her tooth back in after being out for nearly 24 hours. The care on the day and the after care has been amazing. The kindness given to us has meant we have saved my daughter adult tooth, she is receiving further treatment and we hope to have her brace off in the New Year. Thank you again

I had quite a few fillings and he never made me feel embarrassed for that, instead he told me the plan to fix them and advised how I can better look after my teeth (even showing me the best floss and water flosser to buy which was a huge help). Fantastic experience: After recently suffering with painful toothache, I made an appointment to see Lubino within a few days. I had not been to the dentist in a while and I was quite nervous. Lubino & Emily were awesome very reassuring and the music therapy was a great distraction. My tooth needed extraction! All this was done with no pain and plenty humour. I can honestly say it was my best trip ever to the dentist and I never thought I would be saying that. Overall the service was excellent with all staff and the cost was very reasonable. I even received a call after 8pm in the evening from Lubino to ask if everything was ok, no pain? He was still working and helping patients. I would highly recommend Lubino, Emily and the staff in this surgery they are a very caring team. Thank you for making my experience very positive and pain free!

I contacted Bupa South Queensferry and the whole process was outstanding. After the extraction without sedation and a very good experience for my son we have remained clients. Fantastic experience: Brought my Mum to Lubino for extractions and new denture. She was nervous until she met him! What an amazing dentist, who makes you feel so relaxed, settles the nerves. Along with Nurse Emily who is wonderful, it certainly is a great team who is looking after my Mum.The work is exceptional and my Mum won’t go to any other dentist now.

Fantastic experience: Great dental practise with happy friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Since I joined Bupa dental care at the end of last year with the goal of sorting my smile. I have been blown away with the how friendly and welcoming everyone is here. The family atmosphere that Lubino and all the staff have created is a credit to them all. From Becka at reception to Emily my dental nurse they have all helped me feel at home here. As coming to the dentist can be an anxious time for most people. They take all those fears away. I now have a smile that has given me back my self confidence that I had lost. I can’t stop smiling now and am so grateful to them for everything they have done for me. I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you Bupa Dental Care ❤️

Fantastic experience: I needed a tooth extraction and the delay from my normal dentist was just too much (2.5 months as a private patient). From the first call to extraction was 4 hours! The reception was great and professional - phone answered on first ring. Very helpful to find me an appointment including reserving a second slot in case the work was not so straight forward. Car park at surgery has BUPA spots and so no stress arriving at the surgery. Lubino and Emily handled the extraction which could not have been more straight forward. I don't get stressed at dentists, so Lubino was quite chatty and we laughed a lot. Emily kept him in check that correct procedures were followed - they are a great team. BUPA is not cheap but everything worked so smoothly, I can't recommend too highly.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional value - ask for Lubino. I had always viewed the brand of BUPA as professional private practice but a little overpriced. My experience with Lubino over the course of 18 months changed this belief entirely. I enquired with BUPA in a real time if need. I had a large cyst on my jaw and I was lost in the NHS system unable to access the care that I needed. I later found out that I was only a few weeks away from the cyst potentially causing a permanent loss of sensation in my face or breaking my jaw where the pressure had eroded my jaw bone. Their dentist Lubino Do Rego changed my perception of BUPA. The clinical competence is world class and it is no exaggeration that I am beyond satisfied. Lubino quickly understood the situation, was incredibly transparent about his capabilities and approach, and built rapport with me and my family immediately - taking into account our needs and anxieties. From the very first visit, I felt a part of the practice and the whole team seemed driven by his passion and care for patients. The practice staff were all kind, motivated and understanding - even when my ignorance of how everything works was evident. They took the time to explain, advise and consult on the best treatment plans and available options. Lubino explained exactly what would be needed and at no point did I feel like a number in the system. Whilst he clearly respected the time of the practice, and worked under pressure - Lubino’s ideas, experience and network ensured that his practice did what was possible and at the same time liaised with external services outwith the practice to make sure I also got what I needed outside of the BUPA network. My family and I can’t speak highly enough about the man and I wish him and his practice all the best and I would encourage anyone to join the practice if they are looking for someone who is highly competent, truly cares, is capable of thinking outside the box with exceptional ethics. Lubino simply gets results and his experience is worth every single penny. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist would highly recommend. As someone who usually can’t stand the dentist due to previous bad experiences that’s says a lot. I went in an emergency was seen to right away the reception staff were very helpful and friendly as this was the first time I had been here they helped with everything I needed to be seen. As for the dentist Dr Lubino do Rego. He was Fantastic from the second I went in he made me feel at ease with his Positive personality. He could tell I was a wee bit nervous and reassured me there would be no pain. In which i was shocked there was none. He got to the root of the problem which was two teeth extracted and had me fixed in no time at a very reasonable cost. I need to say his assistant I’m annoyed I can’t remember her name was excellent aswell they were a great team and really made me at ease. And his music was Class I have now joined the practice would recommend highly to anyone needing treatment. Great Dentist and staff.

Fantastic experience: First time visit to Bupa as really don’t enjoy dental treatment as a result of never being away from one when I was younger. Got an emergency appointment at really short notice as my crown broke. Reception staff were amazing and dentist and his assistance were great too. Gave me a temporary fix to see me over the next couple of weeks as I am away. Can honestly say best dental appointment I have ever hard. Dentist made me really at ease and was entertained by his banter and music. Highly recommend - reasonable cost too given it was an emergency appointment. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I have my first visit today and I was really scared as I had bad previous experience. Dr Lubino was an absolute superstar, very gentle and understanding with tones of patient. I cannot recommend enough. First class service - I think I found the best dentist. Reception ladies are amazing and very welcoming. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: I used to hate the dentist, but the team here are brilliant. Personally labino and Jennifer who have been dealing with me are a fantastic team, deffo know what theyre up to, good laugh also. Becki and pauline at the front desk are exceptional. They all work with you and around your life, honestly cant recommend this place enough. Private dental care is pricey, but id never look back, definitely pay for what you get.

Fantastic experience: I just went here for the first time this morning and can’t recommend it enough. All the staff were lovely. I have extremely sensitive teeth and was very nervous about coming - the receptionists were so supportive and ensured the team were informed of this before my appointment. I saw the dental hygienist Ben and would recommend him to anyone. He did an amazing job of making my teeth look the best they’ve looked in years. If you have sensitive teeth, or are a little nervous like me, the team here will make you feel so well looked after. 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: Lubino was absolutely brilliant today, saw my daughter at short notice who needed a baby tooth taken out. She was nervous as it had been sore but Lubino put her at ease and gave her the confidence to have it removed. Lubino was caring, professional and amazingly somehow made the experience a fun one!

Fantastic experience: Can't thank Ben enough for his thorough hygiene treatment to my teeth and gums today .. in the challenges of our current covid situation he went way beyond other hygiene services I have been offered .. he immediately offered the full treatment with water and air as he recognised my need for this treatment .. something I have been unable to find in the current climate .. thanks Ben and assistant (sorry did not get name) my teeth and gums salute you .. and very helpful and kind Jemma at reception for making a plan after appointments had to be shuffled

Fantastic experience: Took my children to see Lubino. He is absolutely fantastic with them - my 4year old had a little meltdown beforehand but he managed to make him feel totally at ease and very happy within about 5 minutes!

Fantastic experience: I have just completed my implant surgery with Sheham El Gamal. It was a procedure I was dreading but I can honestly say it was painless. He gave the best injections I have ever had, I didn't feel a thing. He is so relaxed and gentle, he just boosts your confidence. Everything was well explained and even with his PPE on the smile of welcome could be seen in his eyes. Anyone with any doubt about having implants should feel assured Sheham will do an excellent painless job. So thank you to you Sheham and to all the lovely staff at the practice. Barbara Morgan
