Fantastic experience: Fantastic dental care by nik... Had to join due to bridge falling out and other dental practices wanted to charge me £370... Nik was amazing, and talked me through the options. So glad I joined the practice..

Fantastic experience: I attended today for a surgical extraction because my dentist was unable to remove the tooth due to some complications, I had been in extreme pain for two days following the failed extraction where my tooth snapped at my own dentist. I was extremely nervous and in a lot of pain but Sunita and her assistant were so patient with me and explained the whole process as they worked through the process of extracting the tooth which all in all took an hour. I can’t thank them enough for not only fitting me in last minute but also for the amazing job they did to put me at ease during the whole procedure and most importantly remove the tooth which has given me instant relief. Thankyou so much. I would recommend this practice to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Nick deserves an award for the job he did with my teeth! My dentures fit so well and look fantastic. I didn't even know i could have a straight smile but i have one now. I have autism so sometimes procedures are difficult for me, but this crew of people went out of their way to make me feel comfort and ease all the way through the process. When my genetics and bad luck caused complications they sorted the issue quickly and thoroughly. I really feel like I'm part of the furniture there now. I never thought i would be singing praises to a dentist, but, look out broadway.. we might have a hit!

I was dealing with some errors my previous dentist made and I was quickly brought in for a check up to make a dental plan for all the problems I previously had. This plan was made on the day I went for my initial appointment and is still currently being followed through with no issues whatsoever. The full team are friendly, professional and very easy to work with. As someone with dentist anxiety they have alleviated my stress and I now look forward to visiting the dentist to get any problems sorted. They dealt with me in a very fast manner in order to get my confidence back with my teeth. They are a local ran business who do a great job in serving the local community to a very, very high standard. Thanks for everything and I will see you guys soon at my next appointment.

Fantastic experience: I would give more than 5 stars if i could. This dentist surgery is one of the best in Glasgow. The level of skill and assistance at hand is amazing. Dr Sunita and Dr Lagoo always go the extra mile to help me understand the dental procedures. I required some specialist cosmetic colour matching and 3d laser scanning. Dr Sunita used high tech equipment to produce a model of my teeth at my last visit. The staff are also very helpful and always make it easy and help to calm my nerves for regular check ups and cleaning. I could not be more pleased with the results. My teeth are now more radiant which has resulted in being more confident when I smile. I have recommended to all my friends and family. Keep up the great work AAAAA+++++.

Negative experience: During my recent visit to Maryhill Smile Care with my children, who have special needs, the receptionist's behaviour was unacceptable. He made false accusations against my special needs children, claiming they broke the chair and threatened to cancel our appointment. When I politely asked to speak with a manager, he claimed to be the manager himself, which was both shocking and unprofessional. I reported this incident to the police, and while the dentist and a staff member later apologized on the manger/receptionist's behalf, I believe the clinic needs to take steps to ensure all patients are treated with respect and dignity. Needs a lot of improvement. I suggest the clinic manager himself focuses on training, particularly in handling patients with additional needs. Honesty and transparency (that he hasn't ) are also essential in resolving issues. I am trying my best to help you with some tips for improvement. You must consider it in the future with your clients - Provide manager /staff training on interacting with patients with special needs, especially children as well. - Foster a welcoming and respectful environment for all patients - Ensure transparency and honesty in communication with patients

Negative experience: Wouldn’t recommend. Broke a tooth recently and was told I’d need it removed and an implant inserted. The whole process felt rushed and felt like I was being pushed to spend thousands of pounds so I sought another opinion elsewhere and was offered a crown as I thought. Yes I had to pay for initial X-rays and consultations but still saved so much more money if I had let these shady dentists do what they were suggesting. Honestly, bring back Mr and Mrs Black as now just feels like a money making scheme with these dentists who’ve taken over. Honestly just greedy with zero interest for the right care for the patient. They also suggested I should have another tooth removed for ?infection and have an implant inserted their too, but on another opinion no such things found on X-rays. Shoddy practices by the dentists here. Shame on them.

The man at the reception is the nicest and friendliest person I have ever seen! My dentist was very kind and professional and explained everything and the options I had very clearly. The dental nurse is amazing! After my first appointment I had an extraction. All of them were very attentive and professional. I was so nervous and the nurse held my hand throughout the extraction process! She is a wonderful woman and I can't thank her and the entire dental team enough for their wonderful work! Fantastic experience: A great place to do your dentistry. I've just finished my treatment with Nick and he is thoroughly professional and competent. He made sure I knew what I'm getting into and advised the cheaper option would be good enough and it looks great! Given how people adore money such honesty is very rare and much appreciated. The receptionists also deserve praise, one man even offered help with a thesis because of his own experience. The only bad experience is a lady who appears to have developed a dislike of me (that is allowed haha).

Negative experience: Booked a free consultation to discuss teeth straightening treatment but there was barely any work undertaken. A quick look at my teeth (a quick 2 mins) only to be told the actual consultation and treatment plan would cost £190. I feel as though I may as well have submitted my own photos of my teeth and they would’ve given me the same lack of information. Seemed like a wasted appointment. Braces would then cost up to £4K and could take well over 12 months to see any results. I get that for more severe cases this would be necessary but having been to a few orthodontist consultations in the past, this was by far the most unprofessional and expensive. Dentists both seemed nice but I won’t go back here to start treatment and will look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I turned up today just to see if I could make an appointment to have a broken tooth repaired, and I was pleasantly surprised when I was offered an appointment there and then, to have a temporary repair done. I was impressed with the friendliness of all the staff I encountered during this process, and that brought a smile to my face. A smile that was now minus a broken front tooth.

Fantastic experience: Being an international student, I had to find a new dentist here for my orthodontic treatment. I went to Maryhill Smile Care as they offer free orthodontic consultation. The dentist (Dr. Sunita) was very professional and thorough. She explained me all the options with pros and cons of each. I'm now getting my orthodontic treatment with fixed braces here. The staff is excellent and provide good support at every step. I recommend this practice to all for all their dental needs.

Negative experience: Dentist cancelled my appointment the day before my appointment citing a rule regarding Check Ups only being available once every 12 months. However at this time, this rule has not been put in place by the NHS and isn't planned to be until mid-November 2023. And the fact that they are using this rule to cancel appointments is unnecessary. And in previous appointments we've been inundated with information on their private plans as they pulled all dentists from NHS work. And was leaving NHS work to a graduate. I'm sorry but the way we've been treated feels like it is a 'Go Private or Go Away' approach!!! **UPDATE** We've now been told our appointment was cancelled due to an Emergency Appointment from the Dental Hospital. In all fairness some of this may be true but it also means that someone lied in the process

Fantastic experience: I got my teeth cleaned and 2 filling done here. The dentist was absolutely great!! The doctor who treated me where very reassuring did a great job!! I am very grateful for the effort that was put in the the full care of my treatment. I have also recommended this fine Establishment to all my family and friends to have all there treatments done here.
