Negative experience: I recently had to cancel my dentist and hygienist appointments due to illness. When I phoned to cancel, they did not tell me I would be blocked from booking for a year because I was cancelling two appointments! Had I known, I would have dragged myself there and been less considerate. I only found out when I phoned to rebook, the response I got was something along the lines of… Sorry, it’s unlucky that you had two appointments on the same day.

Negative experience: I got gum problem and before start, I did mentioned to the dentist that is my purpose for this visit. Unfortunately, that dentist may not be good enough to give a diagnosis or any treatment to my gum problem, instead just ask me to revisit again a week later, and say it will be okay. If that can be healed by itself, why not happen earlier as it’s already the second week. If she doesn’t know how to handle she should just say so, rather than keep on checking my teeth which I did not ask for. What a waste of time and money!

Fantastic experience: My son had excellent check up with Miss Jia Hua Wong. He hasnt been to dentist’s for an age because of work getting in the way. She gave easy to follow advice and explanations. Would definitely recommend

Negative experience: They are refusing to complete the second half of a procedure for which I have already paid £1000 pounds. And I’ve now called three times to request a formal complaint form with no response. Dentist herself is lovely, but poor management and customer service ruin the business. Avoid at all costs.

Negative experience: AVOID MONEY GRABBERS! I went for my hygienist appointment where I was pressured into booking another one. I asked if something came up would it be possible to cancel as I have a newborn baby. The hygienist said no problem as long as you cancel it in advance you will be given Back your deposit. I called to cancel 6 weeks before the appointment and they refuse to give me Back my deposit, saying it’s non refundable. Maya who is a receptionist has been very understanding about the matter and the miss information I was given. I have been asking for the manger to call back and he refuses. They don’t even have an email address. Disgusting behaviour towards a regular customer who always attends appointments. If my refund is not issued will be raising this matter with the GDC as advised by my lawyer. Looking forward to hearing Back from you.

Fantastic experience: We have recently moved to the area. I managed to get myself and family registered at the dental practice very easily, which I was so relieved about. Yesterday, I had an appointment for a filling, my first ever filling. To say I was scared was an understatement. Dr Soni and the dental nurse were both absolutely amazing. They were so understanding of my worries, they reassured me constantly throughout the appointment and Dr Soni explained everything he was going to do every step of the way. A huge thank you to Dr Soni and the dental nurse who assisted. I really do appreciate it and would recommend this practice to others. *Edit* I have just been today for my regular appointment with the hygienist. Resmi is absolutely brilliant and is an asset to the team. She is so careful, thorough and gentle which is important to me with someone who has incredibly sensitive teeth. She explains everything so well and is very friendly and caring. Please don't go anywhere, Resmi.

Negative experience: Terrible dentist. Terrible service. I paid £800 for an inlay that should have lasted 6 - 10 years. It fell out after 3.5 years. Their dentist told me I needed a filling and crown, that it would cost £1000 and that I would have to wait a month for the work to be done. I went to see another, more experienced dentist in another practice used by some family members for many years. They said I did not need a filling and I did not need a crown and that they could re insert the existing inlay at a total cost of £100 and they could do the work that same week. I had the work done and the matter is resolved, saving me the extra £900 that Park Road Dental Practice wanted to charge me, not to mention the injections and other unnecessary and invasive medical procedures they wanted to put me through. Since this time, and now for over a month, I have been trying to get a refund from Park Road Dental Practice. They first issued a cheque in the wrong name and when I called to get it changed they said that they would make a note for their manager and someone would get back to me. Nothing happened, and so after a week, I called again. They said the same. Nothing happened. So after week, I called again. They said the same. Nothing happened. So after a week I called again. I asked to be put through to someone who could resolve the matter. They said that they couldn't do that, that it "was out of their hands" and that "only the manager could resolve it" I said can I speak to the manager. They said "no, the manager does not take calls or speak to patients". I asked what was their managers name, they said; "we can not give out our managers name". I asked how I could make a formal complaint, they said they would need to speak to their manager and get back to me. Terrible dentist. Passive aggressive approach to patients and customers.

Fantastic experience: Great Dental Practice. I suffered from Periodontal Disease which made my implant teeth loosen. Thanks to Dentist Jia Hua Wong and Nurse Pui had a checkup done first. They were really nice and made me comfortable, explained everything they were doing and the results of the checkup. Dentist Jia also recommended to remove the lossen implant, deep cleaning of my teeth with the hygienist. I felt reassured throughout each stage of the process, and was particularly impressed by the professional, approachable and sympathetic treatment I received. Thank you! I would definitely recommend! Negative experience: This dentist has gone down hill. The new current Dentist did some composite bonding over a chipped front tooth and it fell out in exacty 10 days. I called up the receptionist and she said the dentist would call me back that day. 5 days have passed.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with this place. I had some treatment earlier in the year. All was ok. I was told to come back if any issues. Recently having some issues and pain hence called back and they said I missed appointments and cannot offer me an appointment. I do recall cancelling a few appointments and once possibly missing an appointment. Otherwise I always call to rebook etc. they said I missed an appointment which I did not have. I have no idea who booked it if at all it was booked. Very shocked and disappointed with the service.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient here for about 3 years and have had a consistently good experience. My dentist is attentive and calm. There have been times when I felt she was going the extra mile to give me a good service. She has done excellent repair work where other dentists failed. I would recommend this dentist to others without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: A very caring, and sympathetic with a professional approach to your dental care. Park Road Dental Clinic, did all Manor of treatments and the Dentists, do listen and accommodate any concerns. My dentist George was on point, which listened and address any problems . These Dentist are very much recommended I never felt any discomforts while sitting in the chair. Everything was explained in details, backed up with data from all the modern machinery at their disposal. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: The problem with this dental practice is that the dentists, hygienists and staff change all the time, they move on so impossible to keep a good relationship between patients and staff. Over the years I had good and bad experiences

Negative experience: Lovely dentists but terrible customer service from the reception staff. Always rude and snappy. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr George Wilkinson for the last 2 years and have had consistently great experiences with him! As someone who really hates going to the dentist, I’ve never felt so reassured and supported. George is so clear and concise when explaining procedures, and extremely thorough if I ever have any issues that I want to be checked. I can’t recommend him highly enough, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming in reception too!

Fantastic experience: I’ve seen many dentists over the years but George at Park Rd Dental Clinic is the absolute best. I registered recently and needed an urgent appointment for a very painful tooth which had made me miserable - and very anxious! George was so kind and patient and went that extra mile to ensure I understood the X-rays and treatment options etc. I didn’t feel rushed or pressurised in my choice of treatment and I’m incredibly impressed by his professionalism and skill. The dental nurses at this clinic are sweet and kind and the receptionist is very helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend! 10/10.

All the way through she has listened to my concerns and allowed me time to process the work to be carried out. The best service ever, would highly recommend Bijal. They always take time to ask how you are, explain what treatment is needed and discuss the options with you - patient care is respectful and exceptional. I have never felt 'rushed' by the hygienist who also takes time to review best practices in a calm environment. If anyone is needing a friendly NHS dentist, I absolutely recommend this practice 100%.

Fantastic experience: Bijal is AMAZING! I really, REALLY hated the idea of the dentist... And it had been a while... She was very calm, understanding and explained what would happen. I got a full checkup, including x-rays and some kind of tooth scan as I grind teeth. I needed a filling. Unsurprisingly, I also really REALLY hate needles.. She explained the options (including ignoring) fairly and we decided to do a filling without anaesthetic. IT DIDN'T HURT! Somehow, I don't know how.. I'm guessing just because she is extremely skilled with her drill. I cannot recommend highly enough, and I am very grateful. If you need a magical dentist, go to this place. There's a few with similar names, you want the one opposite Cranley Gardens church, near Victoria Stakes. 11/10 thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: I am one of those whimper in terror at the thought of the dentist patients. My previous dentist, who I'd been going to for years no longer does anY NHS treatment, so I had neglected my teeth. A friend with a similar challenge found 300 Park Road, and recommended them Dr Lily is the most kindly dentist, extremely patient and reassuring. She has gentle hands, and worked slowly and skilfully. She and Maria, the dental nurse exude calmness. Zara, the hygienist was equally patient and careful. I really recommend Lily and Zara to all terrified dental patients. I'm sure they are equally wonderful for the brave, but us whimpering ones need a bit of extra looking after!

Negative experience: Requested a copy of my dental x ray, which I paid £100 for, to be emailed to me and was informed I need to 'write a letter ' because the surgery doesn't have an email address. Yet they have a website! I find it simply unbelievable that in 2023 a business with a website doesn't have an email address and I find the receptionist's response an insult to my intelligence. No clear complaints procedure. Have been a patient here for many years but have definitely noticed a marked decline in customer service in the last year or so. Hygienists keep changing and appointment times are often limited for those who work. I ended up changing practice for my hygienist treatment. Dental checkups also difficult to access as latest appointment is 4.30 Unhelpful overall and it's a shame as this used to be a great surgery.

Negative experience: I just called to query sone information about Denplan and I bumped into the rudest receptionist. He refused to give me his name and kept saying that I wouldn’t understand the plan from the begining. I explained that it was fair to have information about the offers his pr offers provides. I felt insulted and not wanting to go to this practice. I recommend working on building kindness.

Negative experience: Always recommends hygienist even when not actually necessary. Dentists make commission from doing so. Do not do routine polish and scale. Money is priority in this dental practice. No consideration of care.
