I don’t even mind the travel of 25 mins to get there just because the service I receive will be second to none. Fitted the wife in for a replacement filling at short notice also this week to top it off as her previous filling was causing her some issues. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing service. If I could give 100* I would. I needed a lot of painful dental work after leaving my abusive marriage. I tried another private dentist in the neighbouring village, but they were extremely unprofessional and left me in tears. Laksh and Rosmin are the most sensitive and understanding people ever. Everything was fully explained, reassurance was constantly given and I have now got my smile back thanks to them. I cannot recommend enough

They do an amazing job . I had quite a complicated procedure with some temporary measures until things heal but despite my original apprehension I have no worries - there is a plan and everything was clearly explained , it has been a relief to find them .

Fantastic experience: I actually cried when my final treatment was done – in the best way possible! After years of only getting bits of treatment done here and there, usually when things became urgent, I finally found George at Drakes this year and completed everything I needed – including a big one: a bridge. I felt proud of myself for pushing through my fears, but more than anything, I felt incredibly grateful to George and the whole team. From start to finish, they’ve been kind, professional, and easy to deal with. George is a fantastic dentist – I’ve never once felt judged, never been in pain, and always felt safe, respected, and well cared for. Even my kids love coming here! George has genuinely changed my entire experience of going to the dentist, and I honestly can’t recommend him highly enough. I’m so thankful.

Fantastic experience: Appt with Dr Patel was great. Due to an ongoing illness, the meds have caused my teeth to suffer. I was told at a different dentist closer to me in Lytham that the NHS work could not be done and tried to sell their plan. However, Dr Patel put my mind at ease, and whilst there's some work to do, it's covered by NHS and also referred me to a specialist on NHS for further treatment after all the treatment I have with him is complete. Worth the 30 mile round trip!

Fantastic experience: Angela (Hygiene Therapist) and Rosmin (Dental Nurse) provided comprehensive care during my recent visit. I felt confident in their expertise, from the thorough examination to the detailed treatment plan. I've never felt more comfortable going to the dentist. They took the time to explain every detail about my dental experience. My children (aged 3 and 7) both had appointments today, too, and Angela was brilliant with them, too, made them feel super comfortable, and left them feeling comfortable about returning to the dentist for further appointments! Tracey (Receptionist) was so friendly and welcoming, made me feel comfortable from the moment I walk in. She was also incredibly efficient, always answering my questions and making sure everything runs smoothly! She was amazing with the children too and made them laugh and they loved all her deco she had put up for Easter!

Fantastic experience: I've always had fantastic treatment and service at Drakes. They discuss everything very clearly with you, reassure you about any procedures needed and I've never had an issue with them after being registered here for several years.

Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t fault my service today, I called at 10:15 in pain after having some discomfort throughout the night and the receptionist was fantastic she got me to see someone straight away. I arrived to my appointment and greeted by the lovely receptionist who went through my details with me and took my straight up stairs to the waiting area. I was then greeted by dentist George who took me through to the dental room. George was amazing he was so calm, polite and very empathetic, he talked me through very step of my treatment which helped to keep me calm. I’ve never met a dentist like George he was fantastic and I can’t thank him enough. Rosin the dental nurse was also so lovely. Thank you all for your amazing care and treatment today.

Fantastic experience: The Smile clinic on Berry Lane is an excellent dentist. Been there twice and all the dental staff and receptionist are very professional and personable. George, the dentist I see is absolute quality who explains things implicitly and doesn't make you feel pressured to have the work done. Hopefully we don't lose him to the private sector. Best dentist I've been to for ages. Keep up the great work guys

Fantastic experience: In recent times this practice has come in for a lot of criticism and some of it well deserved. Things are now much improved! I’ve just completed root canal treatment with dentist George and nurse Rosmin. I can’t fault their care and consideration. My treatment has been totally pain free with George keeping me informed of what he was doing all of the time. Rosmin anticipates what he needs all of the time and is on the ball. Lovely lady. Highly recommend this dream team! They work so well together

Fantastic experience: I have very recently had root canal treatment and a surgical procedure to support bone regeneration around a tooth. My dentist, Dr Laksh Padala, was excellent. He made me feel comfortable throughout and carried out both procedures with professionalism and patience. I am very happy with how well my gums have healed and I have plans for further surgical procedures with Dr Padala in the near future. Thank you so much and to all your team

Tracy, the receptionist, was incredibly kind and supportive throughout my multiple appointments, always greeting me with a smile and going above and beyond to help, which truly lifted my spirits. Dr. Laksh was fantastic—his soft voice and gentle mannerisms immediately put me at ease. He took the time to patiently answer all my questions and explain everything clearly, even when I felt hopeless. His calm and compassionate approach made such a difference during the process. The entire team worked hard to make everything as smooth as possible, and after all the time and effort, I’m thrilled with the amazing results for my teeth. I had to have various different treatments from a re-root canal to a crown and veneer on my front teeth. I did not feel rushed at all in the appts. Highly recommend Dr Laksh, Angela both great but Tracy deserves a raise (great people skills).

Fantastic experience: Took my 5 children to the dentist, for three of them it was their first ever time. Our Dentist George was amazing at keeping them calm and happy, he explained everything to them. My 12 year old daughter told me how much she liked that she was included and not just talked about. He took a lot of time with each child, praising them on their lovely teeth and giving great advice on how they can protect them. I think the Dental nurse was called Katrina, she was also lovely and helped my kids pick out the sticker they wanted. My 5 year old is looking forward to seeing the dentist again, if that's not a complement I don't know what it.

Completing forms is made simple by completing through your phone before attending your appointment. Angela, who completed my treatment was excellent. She explained everything.
