Fantastic experience: I’ve had a couple of fillings and several appointments now and can only say it’s been amazing. dr Shazhad is thorough, professional and goes through all your options for treatment. The service at front desk is amazing as well and to be honest after only being with this dentist for a relatively short time in the grand scheme of things I feel valued as a customer.

Fantastic experience: Just had a brilliant experience at Dental Studios Scotland - Troon. My hygienist, Amber, was amazing. She was incredibly thorough and professional, leaving my teeth feeling fresher than they have in years. The whole appointment was smooth and comfortable. I will definitely be returning!

Fantastic experience: Exceptional Dental Experience for Nervous Patients! Took my husband on as a new patient. ​I cannot recommend this dental practice highly enough. From the moment I first contacted them, the entire experience was outstanding. Tammy, the receptionist, is a true asset—she is both remarkably friendly and incredibly efficient, immediately putting my husband at ease. As a very nervous patient, he was dreading the appointment. ​However, Dr. Domenico Loia (Nico) and his nurse completely changed his mind. They instantly settled his fears. The treatment he needed was carried out painlessly, with immense care and consideration. ​My sincere thanks to all the staff. If you are looking for a dentist, especially if you share my anxiety, you absolutely won't find better service and treatment.

Negative experience: Joined this practice recently but now I have unfortunately left. Didn’t have a good experience at all. I would not recommend. The dentist I seen didn’t put me at ease at all and was very rough. I have now joined another practice in Troon which is so much better and have had a lovely experience so far.

Fantastic experience: Been a patient at this practice for few years . Very busy clinic : better to call the reception than booking online. The reception team are just lovely and the dentists / hygienist are very trusty professional . They always explain every step of process and are very understanding if you are a nervous person . Never experienced any pain during treatment . Definitely recommend this clinic.

Adam is my dentist and he is amazing, I used to be terrified of dentists until I met Adam, now I trust him and feel safe. Fantastic experience: Due to past bad experiences, I hadn't been to a dentist in 10 years, I was very anxious and nervous but from walking into the dental surgery being greeted by the lovely receptionist Tammie, her polite and friendly manner had me at ease, she also booked in my future appointment around all my prior engagement, nothing was too much. The dentist Ruaidhri and nurse Robyn were both very understanding, patient, polite and explained everything to me, and created a very calming and reassuring atmosphere, and they both made me feel at ease, that I walked out the room alot less anxious than I was. I'm so glad that I picked Troon Dental Surgery as my new dentist and I cannot wait till all the work is done and I have a beautiful smile. I truly never thought I'd be at ease in a dentist ever again, so thank you to you all.

Fantastic experience: Dr Adam is brilliant.

Fantastic experience: I needed a new denture and Adam had a 3D scan of my mouth done and in under 2 wks I had a new set of dentures fitted. I’ve had dentures for several years now and this set is the best fitting set I’ve had they are perfect. I would highly recommend Adam as he really does give you the best treatment. Thank you Adam I’m very grateful for the treatment you gave me

Fantastic experience: Adam and the team at Troon Dental Studio have completely transformed my smile. I've had composite fillings before, but none have felt or looked as natural as these - which is all down to Adam's thorough approach. I'm so pleased with the result and I can't recommend this dental practice enough!

Negative experience: Money greedy dentistry at its best, had a tooth with a chip full removed last year because they said they couldn’t fix it turns out they could, since then I’ve only been seen twice with my teeth declining the fix was always a “temp filling” appointments months apart by that time your tooth’s rotted or decayed, i was in hospital over the weekend released last night and because I’ve missed an appointment today I’ve to pay £50 while my teeth are still a state and I’m still in pain due to my teeth? I miss the old team from there never once received this kind of care under Chris shocking

He is extremely thorough, professional & friendly! I required a replacement filling and his attention to detail was superb, he even took progress photos so he could show me before, during and after. He also checked on me throughout the procedure to ensure I was comfortable. Would highly recommend Adam!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with the surgery around 7 years now and recently transferred dentist to Adam. I told him a few things I was unhappy about with my teeth and he advised how to sort it. My treatments were carried out over the course of the month and I could not be happier with my final result. Adam is a true perfectionist and has made a beautiful job of bonding my front teeth! He is very friendly, welcoming and happy to answer any questions along the way. Thank you so much Adam, if i could give you 10 stars i would :)

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but praise for the team at this practice, the receptionist is always helpful and very pleasant, Adam my dentist has a lovely, friendly manner and always does a great job (he also has been great with my mum who has dementia, he is so patient and helpful). I recently visited the hygienist, Amber and nurse Debbie, who were both lovely, they put me at ease and done a great job. Would thoroughly recommend this dentist practice, they make the whole experience as pleasant as it can be considering I am quite a nervous patient.

Fantastic experience: Adam has been my dentist for a year now and he is very friendly, welcoming and makes you feel at ease. Been attending check ups, and getting a scale and polish. Did a good job on removing a wisdom tooth 3 months ago, as it was causing me a great deal of pain. Top quality service Adam, keep up the good work.

Negative experience: Just been canceled on by yous and I know if I canceled this late then I would have a charge and I have tried to call but no answer just a message saying they opened what a joke

Negative experience: Very poor. Newly qualified - inexperienced, needs cash. Took out a tooth and said come back in 6 months. The tooth next to it had a cavity the size of a mine entrance. Thinking of legal action

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for about 5 years now. In the past couple of years I have seen more investment in infrastructure and equipment. This and the friendly/skilled dentists and dental assistants (not forgetting the receptionist) have made this a go to dentist in Troon. Importantly, they take NHS patients.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to bushra and the fantastic team at troon for a great job , can’t remember everyone’s name but from reception staff to the assistants (including Lucy and Robin) it’s always a pleasure to attend. Bushra spent significant time planning my treatment which was fully explained, discussed and agreed .This also involved referral for an implant elsewhere. She followed this up with a program of treatment that was second to none. Bushra has worked my treatment around my implant work , nothing was too much trouble and I have to thank her for picking up work on a temporary tooth when the temp from my implant failed which saved an addition return to another surgery. Can’t recommend the troon team highly enough! Almost look forward to a dental visit

Fantastic experience: My son had treatment on 19/10 with Taylor I cannot praise Taylor highly enough. My son was extremely nervous but Taylor and Dental Nurse Karen were so patient and understanding with him. They didn't rush him and explained every step as they went, even putting on music he liked to try and relax him. Thank you both very much.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars all round for treatment and staff alike. I registered during the first lockdown when I needed treatment and I am so thankful I did. After meeting and building a rapport with my dentist Bushra, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. She is always clear, thorough and really patient and caring when I get (very) anxious. My smile now gives me confidence and a new lease of life. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: After a recommendation from my dad, I attended Troon Dental Studio to see Bushra. I am an anxious patient and she was excellent at putting me at ease and listened to all of my concerns before advising of different treatment options. She provided excellent treatment and I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a dentist. Hopefully she will remain at the practice for many years to come.

Negative experience: Pamela on reception and Chris Grant dentist (who has now left) - both fantastic. ‘Bushra’ however - is quite simply the most arrogant, condescending dentist (or person) I’ve had the misfortune to be treated by in my adult life. A flippant, condescending and dismissive attitude towards accessing NHS treatment (you can have another dentist if you want any NHS work) and offered to ‘take the filling back out’ if it wasn’t to my satisfaction !? (I’d thought the tooth was to have a white composite filling and hoped that would cover or minimise the discolouration). Anyone speaking to a client or patient in that manner simply should be in business full stop. Was about to undertake the private veneer work quoted by Chris (worth £thousands) but one appt with this charmer and decision made instantly to take my business elsewhere. Disgraceful!

Fantastic experience: This is the first dentist Iv been to that actually goes out your way for you, the lady I have at the dentist is honestly fantastic, I have a huge phobia of dentists and needles but she’s always exceptionally nice and calming, 100% would recommend to anyone. I was meant to get a crown and root treatment and the dentist explained some other avenues I could go down to help with the anxiety such as referral to glasgow for a more ‘drugged’ treatment.
