Belgrave House Dental Practice

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Belgrave House Dental highly enough. After two emergency appointments elsewhere for a dental abscess that completely overshadowed Christmas and New Year, I was left facing a referral process for extraction that felt impractical and painfully slow - 6+ week wait. I came across Belgrave House Dental because of their outstanding reviews – and they absolutely lived up to them. Within 24 hours I was registered, seen, and had a completely pain-free extraction and a small filling on an adjacent tooth, all done in under 40 minutes. The relief was instant even though I know I’ll have some discomfort in the coming days. I’ll be returning for the implant later in the year and feel totally confident in the care ahead. From reception, to the dental nurse, to the dentist, every single person was kind, calm and incredibly supportive, especially given my anxiety around dental treatment. I felt listened to, reassured, and genuinely cared for throughout. I am grateful for the care from my previous practice but so pleased I made the move and hugely relieved to finally have the treatment I needed. Thank you to the whole team for turning a really stressful experience into such a positive one.

She had diligently read all my patient notes and referred to them constantly to ensure her treatment was relevant and effective. She had a most cheerful and engaging manner — and had a good relationship with her nurse, which made for a very efficient and relaxed treatment session. She gave two or three good pieces of advice for me to follow as well. Great stuff.

But I go the extra 20 miles because of the fantastic, reliable care that I get here. My dentist is Mr Opaleye.All the dentists, nurses and reception staff are exceptionally caring. Yemi saw me at short notice today and his excellent summary of what was wrong and also options available, really helped me to decide what I wanted to do next. Positive experience: The service is fine and the dental staff nice but price increases every year are off putting. Just raised monthly fee by over 9%, when inflation is just over 3%. Not getting any additional service for the annual price increase. Will be looking at other options in the area to compare prices.

Positive experience: I visited the practice for a routine hygienist's appointment and dental check-up. It all went well.

Negative experience: Had a tooth extraction which took some time to get the roots out Didn't bleed but three pieces were broken off an adjacent crown.

Fantastic experience: It’s so reassuring to have one’s dental care provided by consummate professionals who deal with you with courtesy and kindness.

Fantastic experience: Dentist with a good ‘bedside manner’ who explained the steps he would take with fitting a crown. Some slight discomfort as you would expect with the tooth being prepared for the crown and the creation of a suitable impression. The temporary cap is excellent with a comfortable fit that enables me to eat without any problems. The dental nurse was very considerate and reassuring during the procedure and that was much appreciated.
