Negative experience: My experience at Millharbour Dentistry was extremely distressing, particularly as a first-time dental patient with significant anxiety. I was treated by Dr Anita, and unfortunately I found her manner cold and lacking empathy. When you are already terrified of dental treatment, a compassionate and reassuring approach is essential — and I felt this was completely absent. Instead of helping to ease my anxiety, the interaction significantly worsened it. One comment in particular stayed with me and made me very uncomfortable: “If you don’t look after your teeth, we will get a lot of money out of someone like you.” This came across as insensitive and overly business-focused, rather than supportive or professional, and it left me feeling judged rather than cared for. I also left the appointment with a filling that never felt quite right. Sadly, my concerns turned out to be valid, as months later I developed severe pain in that same tooth. After visiting another local dentist to have the tooth extracted, the contrast was striking. The care, empathy, and reassurance I received elsewhere completely changed my experience and made me realise just how poor and traumatic my treatment at Millharbour Dentistry had been. Overall, this was a very negative first dental experience and has unfortunately increased my anxiety around dental care. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, particularly for patients who are nervous or attending the dentist for the first time. Only giving an extra star for the lovely caring receptionist

Negative experience: My word where to start. Firstly Dr Anita is as cunning as they come, all smiles with the older generation but has a disgusting agenda towards the youth. My daughter was constantly tearing up after her experience with Dr Anita due to her mistreatment and distasteful attitude, her bad manners and rudeness are second to none. Taking into account that she done a horrible job with placing a filling in my daughter’s tooth as it was completely out of place and I am just devastated. I have never met anyone so degraded. The audacity to talk about my daughter after the appointment aswell, truly disgusting. I highly suggest that you never approach this dentistry at any point in time.

Fantastic experience: I've always trusted Dr. Anita with her advice over the many years I've been her patient. I have since moved out of the area and had kids but she's still my trusted dentist. She's always honest and says it as it is. Now my kids go to her too. If there is a window for an emergency appointment, she will definitely accommodate. She even attended to dental related calls during covid. That shows how committed she is to her profession and her patients.

She saw me on short notice, explained everything clearly, and handled the situation with such calm professionalism. Her gentle approach and genuine concern turned what could have been a very stressful experience into one of comfort and reassurance. I can’t say a bad word about her—she’s truly exceptional at what she does. If you ever find yourself in need of a dentist , I wholeheartedly recommend Anita .

Fantastic experience: As always Anita has been a total life saver over the last few days. She has made time for 2 emergency appointments and completed a very difficult root canal extraction without any discomfort or fuss for me. This has immediately relieved me of considerable pain and was such a professional job that I was able to go straight back to work immediately after. Fantastic experience: I registered at Millharbour Dentistry in January and I have had several appointments now. I hadn’t been to a dentist in 3 years as I had 2 bad experiences with previous dentists in the past so my fear of dentist is real, I avoided them like the plague until I was finally brave enough to register at Millharbour dentistry. The location is a lovely modern glass building right on the docklands by the water, a beautiful setting. Upon arrival the reception administrator was so kind, friendly, very helpful and professional. Anita the dentist was honestly the most kindest, gentle, professional and funniest dentist I have ever met and she put me at ease straight away. My experience at Millharbour dentist has cured my fear of dentists and turned something that held me back into pure joy. I can’t recommend Anita and her team at Millharbour Dentistry enough to people and I will continue to sing Anita’s praises wherever I travel.

Negative experience: My tooth chipped away after getting a hygiene clean DO NOT RECOMMEND. Created gaps in between my teeth and made my tooth structure weaker

She taught me how to clean the teeth in daily life and she never sales any products or push you to book the next appointment. Fantastic experience: Well, if you dealt with dental issues in UK then you will understand what I mean when I say this one is amazing. At least so far. I got an appointment within a few days from emailing them direct, they took me on as NHS without trying to push me on private as many of them usually do. Also, got in, welcome was nice, took care and explained everything, offered options and so on. So, so far, compared to any other, this one is a standout.

Fantastic experience: I have been in UkK for a very long time and I am so happy to have met Anita. Raluca is also amazing and so helpful in accommodating 3 Kid's dental appointments. Anita is passionate about the issues of not taking basic care of our tooth brushing and she has helped me and my kids understand the facts of mouth care/ gum health by teaching us how to brush our teeth properly improving gum issues. Anita is not just a dentist, she is a professional knowledgeable person who gives basic advice to help not having major issues in the future so I am glad we have her as our dentist. Fantastic experience: I was walking home from a Baker Street dentist in despair and generally disillusioned by humanity and by chance stumbled into Millharbour Dentistry. Genuinely one of the nicest healthcare professionals I have ever met - so lovely and took the time to actually help rather than just explain the problems (which see also did very well I should add). Couldn't recommend this place enough!!!

Fantastic experience: Anita is mine and my daughters dentist. She managed to save my daughters tooth and avoid any major work. Her expertise managed to solve a complex issue whilst being supportive to my daughter who had a lot of anxiety. We could not be anymore happy and relived. Negative experience: My feedback for this dental clinic: lacking honesty and professionalism. During my appointment on July 18th, I pointed out a cavity (crack) on my upper-right molar. The doctor brushed it off as a normal occurrence and proceeded to fix another tooth. At the time, I trusted her judgment. However, within just 2-3 days, the crack seemed to worsen, so I decided to email the doctor to express my confusion. Subsequently, I scheduled another appointment for July 22nd. During today's appointment, I brought up the same issue again - the crack on my molar. To my surprise, the doctor acknowledged it as a significant cavity and said she didn't see it last time because of the colour demonstrated on the screen (?) My concern is that this is the exact same problem I mentioned during the previous visit (and I mentioned several time and she said it's not an issue), which the doctor dismissed as normal! I find it disheartening that I had to spend twice for the same issue. From the very beginning, my tooth problem has consistently been centered around the crack I mentioned. I want to clarify that all the comments I've made are entirely true, and I have not fabricated anything. However, I must admit that I feel dissatisfied and confused about the entire experience at this clinic.

Negative experience: The worst dentist ever, I have been coming to this dentist for nearly 10 years now and the attitude is that she just does not care. In her words I have plenty of others waiting to come in. Work done today should be ashamed of fitted a crown and told it was ok went home and back in 5 mins to say not happy with fitting and can not believe she had fitted it like that and sent away . She removed the crown and then refused to refit because I questioned the work and was told plenty of other dentist around if you don’t like it. I walked into another dentist who fitted the crown perfectly within 20 minutes no problem with such a different attitude I will never step foot in this place again avoid at all cost !!!! Update be even more careful as once they read this they then report you to the police for affecting their mental health and asking for you to remove this review

Negative experience: Normally I don't review unless have to. This dentistry would have been better without an Indian old lady, I think, her name is dr. Anita, who is probably the owner. She is too old for doing treatment of people, and very rude. She's even rude with her staff. As a local dentistry, you must respect people and be nice to them. You have to leave your cultural doctor behaviour (asian), and behave like a proper uk dentist with patience. Myself, I am an asian and the way Dr. Anita behave, same as back home, very rude and dominant. They must needs to improve. Very bad experience. I will avoid next time.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Millharbour Dentistry for approximately 13 years & have not changed it despite moving out of the area as the services are excellent in myriad ways. Staff are professional, efficient, helpful & approachable. As a nervous dental patient, I couldn't have wished for more care & consideration from Anita Agarwal who is a Master at her profession. Dental nurses & receptionists are friendly, polite & highly competent. The clinic itself is spotless with high spec equipment & furnishings, not to mention welcoming & stylish. Negative experience: avoid by all means!! I had emergency work done on 2 of my teeth. The work done as it happens was of extremely poor quality, one of the fillings deteriorated and tooth fell apart in no time, now the second one is falling apart as well. Called up today to enquire if they provide any warranty and all I got was huge amount of whataboutery. Appears they don't even keep a proper record as the second tooth she says she knows nothing about (?!) The lady doing the work kept insisting to leave positive Google review, now I can see why as it all was just clickbaiting to promote their shabby practice, whilst taking no responsibility for the incompetence. Shameful.

Fantastic experience: I just visited this practice for the first time. It was an excellent experience: Dr Hussein has a very calming demeanor and he was very non-judgemental. He made it as easy and pleasant as possible really, whilst being thorough - I'd recommend him to anyone, but particularly anyone who has a "complex" dental history or anyone who doesn't like going to the dentist / sees it as a necessary evil / might be uncomfortable The practice is very clean, clearly modern equipment, all of the staff were very nice and booking was easy They also have these cool cameras to let the dentists take photos of teeth within your mouth (e.g. they took one of the inner surface of one of my molars to show me an issue). It's nice to be able see the issue yourself rather than just trying to visualise based on a description

Fantastic experience: I have always been treated with the utmost courtesy by Shihab who will give you a detailed assessment beforehand including an honest appraisal. The staff at the reception are always most courteous too

Fantastic experience: Dr Shihab Hussein is a very good professional, mindful of his patients. He is gentle and shows patience during treatments. He takes time to explain the procedure before and after it is done and provide personalised advice so that you know exactly what to do to improve your condition. On top of that he is friendly and always takes time to welcome patients. I would definitely recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: Wasted years and money on this dentist (bear in mind I was under 18) and I could have had so many problems prevented had I gone to a better place. This place is only good if you’re teeth need little to zero help, however it’s completely rubbish if you’re actually in dire need of a dental solution. It also takes ridiculously long to get referred to the orthodontist by this place (unlike my current general dentist which can immediately have me referred). The receptionist was kind, but from what I remember the actual dentist herself was really impolite.

Fantastic experience: Lovely business, Miss Anita made me feel super comfortable and gave me the reassurance I needed since not attending an appointment pre covid. My children were also very relaxed and comfortable which can be far more difficult to achieve. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: Dr Hussein was able to fit me in at quite short notice when I was experiencing some toothache, this was addressed and he suggested that I needed some other procedures as I had not been to the dentist for a few years. All the work was explained to me well and was performed without any pain or much discomfort. On top of this he seems like a genuinely nice guy and always took the time to make sure I was ok with everything that was happening. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and his colleagues.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to Dr. Shihab Hussein was a great experience. He immediately puts you at ease with his calm and sweet demeanor. The most impressive part of my visit was that Dr. Hussein took the time to show me my problem areas , which I have never had a dentist do before. This helped me to know why and how to care for my teeth better. I never felt rushed. He has a special way of making my visit personalized, comfortable and stress-free.

Fantastic experience: The most informative, honest and skilled dentist i have seen (I have had many experience with different dentists so I can compare). My dentist, Dr Hussein visually demonstrates my problems and the treatment to me with pictures, videos and xrays before proceeding with treatment. Everything is easy and I'm well informed. He has an incredibly light touch, completely painless, and is very friendly. I have recommended him to all my friends and family, and recommend him to whomever is reading.

Fantastic experience: Attended the surgery initially with a severe infection, after diagnosis, Ms Agarwal suggested the need for a root canal treatment in order not to loose the tooth soon. Ms Agarwal performed the treatment over two sessions of one hour long each, with extreme care and detailed digging, needless to say that the highest hygiene levels were observed, and multi X-ray shots were taken at every stage of the process. I must say that all staff, nurses and the dentist surgeon were helpful and advice giving at all the time I was there. Many thanks to all of you. Respectfully A-M Grimesty

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist. Dr Hussein has the perfect manner. He doesn't make me feel silly for asking questions, he is patient and calmly explains everything to me. I would enthusiastically recommend Dr Hussein to anybody looking for an excellent dentist.

Fantastic experience: You would look for personal recommmedations when selecting your dentistry practioner. Here is one from me, while we can also thank Google for giving power to the people in Web 2.0 way! An excellent customer service in this practice is coupled with quality outcomes and light hearted, humorous pleasant style. I need to add that an integrity and good energy underlines the approach that Anita, practice leader, adopted. The team is also very very good! Five stars all around!
