Fantastic experience: Attended the Grange Road surgery 14.10.25. I can honestly say that Mr Lowrie is 1 in a million. He is so patient and explains everything. I am quite a nervous client and he keeps me calm. I couldn't ask for a nicer, kinder gent for a dentist.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an apicectomy at MyDentist Hartlepool with Mihai Neacsu and his fantastic dental nurse, and the care I received was outstanding. Having previously been a patient at another well-known surgery in the town, where I often felt procedures weren’t properly explained and the focus was more on money than on care, the difference here has been like night and day. From my very first appointment, everything was explained clearly, I felt listened to, and I was reassured throughout. On the day of my procedure, I was put completely at ease. The treatment itself was painless and much quicker than I expected. Mihai’s calm, professional approach and his nurse’s kindness and attentiveness made me feel safe and cared for from start to finish. The reception staff are always lovely, friendly, and helpful, and I’ve had excellent service whenever I’ve needed emergency appointments. I saw a female dentist first who had referred me for this procedure and she was also brilliant. I can’t thank Mihai and the whole team enough. The experience here has completely restored my confidence in dental care, and I would recommend MyDentist Hartlepool to anyone looking for a practice that genuinely puts patients first.

Fantastic experience: Always get an appointment when needed, all staff very friendly and professional. Potential treatment is carefully explained to you by your Dentist and if you're nervous about any procedure you are put at ease and any concerns you may have regarding it. 08.08.25. just completed my treatment and cosmetic procedures this week hence the "add on review". Over the last several months I have had root canal, crowns renewed, veneer, tooth extractions and tooth implants. I am pleased that my dental health is finally up to date and I have a new smile as well! Such a great feeling and relief. Mihai did the root canal...he was very nice and reassuring. I wouldn't hesitate to have root canal again, it literally was painless and I wouldn't have dreamt I would say that about root canal! Bogdan described how I could improve upper teeth, both for health and looks and the options available to me with no pressure. I decided to treat myself and improve my smile at the same time. I felt able to manage the cosmetic side as I trusted him. He did lots of work as mentioned above . Thanks to his skill I am very happy with my new smile, which looks very natural. He was always patient, described what would be happening for each stage and listened when I said I was worried about anything. I must also mention dental nurse Sonia, who is always cheerful and helped in calming my nerves when I was feeling a bit apprehensive. It helped such a lot. Also all the reception staff who are always friendly and pleasant, helping re-arrange appts if necessary with a smile. I know I have rambled on a bit but when you're scared of the dentist from previous difficult childhood experiences, it means such a lot to be able to fully trust a new dentist. I think My Dentist is first class in every way and I am very happy to continue going there. Thanks everyone!

Fantastic experience: Had a last minute problem I needed sorting before going out the country, phoned them, got an appointment the next week. Could've taken me for a ride but didn't. I'm very nervous with dentists so I've avoided them for a good few years but staff was very friendly and they introduced me to Raj who is an absolute legend. Raj got me sorted out, showed me what he'd found and what needed doing, was very friendly and put no pressure on me to agree to anything. Booked an appointment for treatment within the week, got it sorted and I'm now biting without worry in time for my trip. Man is a wizard.

Negative experience: I went to My dentist in grange road for a tooth extraction upon sitting in the chair he tapped the top of my tooth with his mirror in which made me yell out in pain ( he thought it was funny and laughed) When the nurse popped out the room I said to him he was out of order not funny Upon extraction it snapped then slipped with his tool across the top of my mouth Got that he said sorry he eventually got the tooth out I’ve never known so much pain 3 weeks later the throbbing has just started to stop at at the cost of £245 I’ll never ever go back to this dentist

Fantastic experience: I had clear correct done with Alina at mydentist and couldn't be more pleased with the results! I'm so happy with my smile now and had a great experience. Alina was always friendly and happy to answer my questions, as I often came with quite a few! Also the whole team were always welcoming and friendly, always managing to squeeze me in for appointments as my own availability wasn't always the easiest to work around. I would definitely recommend Alina to anyone thinking about clear correct!

Negative experience: I have just turned up to my nhs appointment (booked months ago and received a text last week to confirm it with my health questionnaire) to be told (across the reception desk not discreetly) I no longer have this appointment as the dentist is now private only and if I want to stay on to register private. No phone call no apology. I am in shock

Fantastic experience: After a bad experience with some previous dental work with a different dental surgery, and needing some restoration work I plucked up the courage to go to My Dentist (Hartlepool). I was really anxious due to previous experience but have to say I cannot recommend this surgery enough. From initial appt, to formulating a plan and carrying out the treatment I was put at ease. The work carried out is exceptional and the staff that dealt with me were so attentive, calming and professional including the reception staff, dental nurse, hygienist and dentists.

Negative experience: I was a member of this dentist for over 20 years however during covid and myself working in hospitals I limited exposure. After covid I went to book to find I am no longer registered without any notification. I also had an experience when I arrived for my appointment to be told I had rang up and cancelled which I hadn't, to then re-book and return a different day wasting 2 holidays. The good thing being they realised there mistake and had cancelled myself in error and applologised for this. I had always had good service but the last few years had its ups and downs and unfortunately I'm still looking due to waiting lists. Contacted the practice manager as suggested below, however after numerous dialogue promised a call back and unfortunately almost a month has now.passsd to add to the disappointment.

Negative experience: This had been our dentists for over 20 years since it was Lambert and Couts . Tried to get an appointment a few months ago, hanging on the line for ages, it then clicked into a message stating they would call me back....still waiting . Shocking service.
