Fantastic experience: Today I was seen by Becky and Megan, I had 3 fillings without the need for an injection. It started with a warm welcome and a full explanation of the treatment needed. I did not experience any discomfort or pain at at point. Becks & Megan where gentle and caring,and the skilled treatment was soon completed. Fantastic experience: With exposed dentine, I always found Hygienist’s treatment painful and unpleasant. However, Becky knows how to use local anaesthetic and ably assisted by Megan is simply the best in her business that I have ever met.

Fantastic experience: I usually have Tom who is outstanding and completely eliminated my fear of the dentist . However I’ve had back to back appointments in 2 days with Becky & Megan and they were outstanding also , despite not having Tom , I felt completely comfortable and happy with the finished work and support they gave me . Even entertaining my two boys who love to chat whilst working on me ! Exceptional service from all in the surgery . Feel very lucky to have this dental surgery and the staff who work there . Fantastic experience: When I was experiencing awful pain in a tooth they were able to accommodate an emergency appointment within a few days which was great. Remedial work was undertaken to stop the pain which worked and I was emensely greatful for. A follow-up appointment was made to resolve the issue permanently and this was completely comfortably and to a high standard. Overall an excellent customer experience.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant. Everyone was incredibly helpful and when it was noticed I had an appointment at 12pm and 2pm, the receptionist liaised with the dentists, hygienist and dental assistants (sorry if the terms aren't quite correct) to fit my second appointment in immediately after the first so I didn't have to wait. Treatment was high quality, personable and without rush. 10 out of 10

Fantastic experience: Not the most enjoyable of appointments in that it’s root canal treatment. That said dentist Judy was great. Even though treatment went on longer than expected she kept me informed and comfortable. Receptionists Sharon and Lisa also wonderful. As I’d missed getting to the library they were able to help with an administrative matter. I’ve been with this practice for over thirty years and have always found them to be excellent. Can’t praise them highly enough.

Particularly Lisa on reception who is always accommodating esp as I had an emergency appointment for both myself and daughter and Neil my dentist whom I've been lucky to have for quite a few years now is very personal to my concerns, he will listen and is very understanding and puts me at ease.

Positive experience: Great practice with lovely staff both on reception and in the surgical areas. My only gripe is with BUPA itself who have raised check up prices by over 90% in three years and added £30 onto the cost of a hygienist appointment, now a whisker off £100.

Fantastic experience: I awarded five stars for yesterday's emergency appointment with Mr Fry, who rapidly fixed my tooth in his characteristically competent and professional way. Fantastic experience: I had problems with mouth ulcers for most of my adult life! Some days I couldn’t speak and had to apply ambersol to numb my mouth so that I could eat and drink. It made me feel sad and down as the pain was sometimes unbearable. I tried everything. Changed diet, had appointments with specialists at the hospital but nothing worked. explained this to my Dentist at Bupa Dental Care Plymstock & he said he would try something! He said there is some research that links mouth ulcers with old metal fillings where the metal degrades and causes ulcers to appear! He removed a large filling by an area that was always sore and replaced it with a white one. He showed me the red sore ulcerated area beside the tooth using a mirror and booked me for a re visit in 6 weeks. The results were amazing. The area by the new filling cleared up and I had no more soreness. Over the next 12 months I had another 4 fillings removed and replaced and I can happily say I have not had an ulcer since! My dentist changed my life!

Fantastic experience: Tom the hygienist and Kelly his support have treated me with such care and respect today. As a now Trigeminal Neuralgia sufferer, I was terrified to get my teeth cleaned. But they desperately needed it. Tom was gentle, kept stopping to ask if I was okay and they both put up with my whittering (nerves). It’s great to have a positive experience.
