Fantastic experience: Had a deep clean today 28/01/2026 at 11.20 am with Mollie Watts. I was very nervous & actually shaking, Mollie & her assistant were very pleasant, reassuring,caring & calmed me down before commencing with the procedure. Mollie would allways talk to me explaining what she was going to do next, this helped in keeping me relaxed as I had this procedure done some years ago & found it very unpleasant & painful. Mollie was so gentle & took more time knowing how apprehensive I was, after the treatment I was so pleased at how brilliant Mollie & her assistant were that I couldn't thank them enough. Mollie is very good & caring at what she does. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience: I was referred there by NHs 111 , am sooo happy they did , it’s such a amazing dentist and soo friendly each and one of them smile at u and soo nice , I had appointment with Amy peer , I don’t know how to say it but she is such a lovely understanding and caring humble person I was soo scared to have my tooth removed but the way she comforted me until I was fully numb I didn’t feel a single thing, just love her such a amazing human so was her assistant who work with Amy she’s also been sweetheart , have another appointment with her to get my filling done ,I must say am excited to go back , before I used to hate dentist and now this place made me love it especially Amy peer . Fantastic experience: Have been a patient here for many years and have checks up regularly with Adam who is friendly and professional. Just had filings and clean with hygienist Bethany and Sophia who are fabulous. As I get older I get more nervous they walked me though everything - incredibly professional and brilliant bed side manners - the pair of them are worth visiting even if you have perfect teeth!!! Can’t thank them enough for really looking after me today!! X

Negative experience: My partnerr ecently had to cancel his dental appointment at short notice due to a bad cold and cough.As didnt want to pass this on to the dentis.t However a few days later he received a letter through the post advising albeit they appreciated he was poorly in future to give 48 hours notice. I would theirfore like to know if this works both ways as twice in the padt i have had appointments and on the morning of the appoitments the dentist receptionist has rang saying unfortnately they need to rearrrange the appointment as dentust phoned in sick. Double standards maybe

The procedure was handled gently, and I felt comfortable throughout. The clinic environment was clean, modern, and well-maintained. Overall, I’m very pleased with the service and would highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of Will Thorley and his Nurse Lucy. The expertise professionalism and compassion they give makes a daunting visit to the dentist much less so. Also a mention to the reception staff who understand the differences in an emergency. Thankyou all you are the best !

Fantastic experience: It all started in the waiting room where I think Sally on reception could sense my impending panic attack and the walk out that was imminent after years of neglect of my teeth and negative past experiences with dentists she kept me grounded, kept me talking and kept me kept me distracted. Then the dreaded appointment! A appointment that would change my entire outlook on teeth and what dentists can be like when you find a great one! Amy is by far the kindest most attentive most dentist I’ve ever met! Half an hour with her and Amy C who I must add was one of the most down to earth people I’ve ever met! There was no judgement there was no distain there was just a simple question! What can we do to make you happy and confident? I never in my life thought I’d leave the dentist looking forward to my next appointment but now I’m a changed man! I walked in just wanting to end the pain and now I’m sat looking forward knowing that very soon I’ll have a smile to be proud off and it’s all thanks to these ladies! Thank you so much

I also had a clean done which I’ve never had before and it honestly was one of the nicest things I’ve ever had, really made my teeth much whiter.

Fantastic experience: I was always anxious about going to the dentist as I don't have the best dental hygiene however after suffering for long enough I decided to book through Bupa and couldn't be happier. After my initail patient exam with Amy she made a treatment plan and answered any and all questions I had. Leading on from this I had some fillings on my front teeth to repair some damage and I couldn't be happier with the result!! Amy did an amazing job and gave me my smile back. After that I had a tooth removed, it was a difficult one that really didn't want to come out however Amy was comforting and made sure I was in no discomfort. Often stopping to ask if I was in any pain or needing a rest. I'd recommend anybody to Visit bupa as all the staff are friendly and welcoming. My sister and Fiance have already booked after seeing how good of a job Amy has done with my Treatment.

From the moment I walked in, Lucy, the receptionist, greeted me warmly and was incredibly kind and reassuring, which immediately put me at ease. Dr. Peer is an outstanding dentist—very caring and thorough. She explained each step of the process in detail, ensuring I felt comfortable and informed throughout the procedure. I was amazed at how skilled she was—I didn’t even feel the injections or the extraction itself! Her calm demeanor and compassionate approach made an otherwise nerve-wracking experience completely stress-free. The nurses, Laura and Janay, were both fantastic on separate occasions. Fantastic experience: Hygienist Beth and nurse Sophia, what a team! I needed a hygienist appointment for the 1st time today and I'm a really anxious dental patient but they couldn't have been any nicer. They were just so kind, friendly and patient and really put me at ease, didn't make me feel rushed and explained everything to me. Beth is very gentle and I felt no discomfort. Thanks to both of them for turning a really stressful situation into a much calmer, more manageable one!

Negative experience: Don’t contact you to say you’re due an appointment then kick of off the NHS list. Receptionist less than useful.

Fantastic experience: I arrived at the dentist stressed over a tooth I thought was loose at the front. I saw Amy and Gemma they checked my mouth and X ray my tooth and reassured me that everything was ok. They put my mind at rest 10 out of 10

Fantastic experience: I've been attending this clinic for the last several months and I originally came in because I've had an open root canal with severe pain and I can say that i didn't expect to be treated this well since then I had several of my teeth removed and filled in, the dentist Amy was great help with explaining everything and offering me different solutions to fix my teeth and doing her best to fix my teeth, now I can say that because of this clinic I can once again without being embarrassed of my teeth.

Fantastic experience: I rang for an appointment with William Thorley as I had broken a tooth, the receptionist was extremely helpful in arranging an appointment, I saw William, and after 3 xrays,he fully explained my options, he even went through it again when I asked a question, I opted for an extraction, which he did, explaining the procedure and putting me at ease all the time, Lucy, the dental nurse has equally caring, and professional, William and Lucy was excellent, I felt in very safe hands, a first class caring service, from you both, thank you

Negative experience: After a visit for a check up I needed to have 4 fill ins, agreed to have works completed but had to have the first one redone - after having that done it still is painful and not even flat with a sharp piece after 2 attempts of letting them do it. Wouldn’t go back again as they tried blaming me for there failed fill in stating I grind my teeth and would need to buy a tooth guard at £120 to make this stop happening, never had no pain in the first place which I wish I never let these lot touch anything anywhere near me!! Plus they make you pay upfront for all dental work and funnily enough only reached out to me once as they got there money.

Fantastic experience: The service and care I received from the whole team @ southey hill dentist goes above 5 ☆. I required a emergency appointment / further work to my front tooth and due to how this looked I was feeling mentally troubled but the care support and expertise offered by firstly Lisa Smith and then some top class work by Claire Pearson (amazing lady and dentist) was exceptional. I must also say the assistant I'm so sorry I never got or remembered your name but was also amazing throughout both visits. Anyway rebuilt my front tooth, gave me great comfort and support as well as some banter which I love and should happen in these settings , but kept it professional also. The end result was amazing can't thank the whole team there enough. They will be receiving a xmas card :). From start to finish absolutely faultless. I hope this gets back to someone whom can give the recognition they deserve in a more formal manner. Thankyou.

Fantastic experience: I visited Bupa dental southey green on Monday all the receptionist ae allway pleasant and very helpful I went on this day to have a tooth out so I was not with my usual dentist who I can also say is really nice and professional so I was a bit nervous I was with a dentist called Victoria she was amazing made me so relaxed and comfortable didn’t feel a thing and not forgetting both dental nurses I have had the experience of having you do an amazing job thank you x

Fantastic experience: Really positive experience. First attended several months ago on an emergency appointment. Following this they recommend I have a full assessment. Over a number of treatments I had a root canal done, tooth extraction and fillings. Each time the service and support was brilliant. Looking forward to now having this clinic as my dentist.

Negative experience: I have had the most frustrating experience dealing with this dentist I went in for an emergency appointment on Monday after suffering with toothache and a infection since Saturday prior and the only thing they could do for me is give me a prescription for antibiotics and told me that they would have to refer me the the Charles Clifford Hospital because they couldn’t or didn’t want to remove my tooth, I was told by Lisa My dentist that I needed to wait for a phone call from the hospital witch isn’t something you want to hear wen your in severe pain and can’t eat or sleep but it is what it is. But Today Friday 4 days after my first appointment at Bupa they told me over the phone that they never sent any referral for me to the hospital! Meaning I have been waiting for a phone call that was never going to happen in absolute pain for no reason due to their incompetence. They don’t care about there NHS patients only the private ones get good treatment!. Avoid This practice at all costs!!!

Elle carefully examined all teeth and gums, put a watch on two teeth and declared all well at present. Professional treatment with a friendly manner.

Fantastic experience: I have never written a review before for the practice even though I’ve had excellent service but I had to write this one. I would like to big up Hamzah, the dental student, Lou the nurse and Liz the supervisor. I visited the dental practice as pre arranged for an extraction and I was very anxious as my previous experience was quite traumatic. I explained this to Hamzah and Lou they were very reassuring and supportive. I was promised sufficient local anaesthetic to numb me properly and I was well and truly numb all I felt was pressure. I was reassured throughout the procedure and when the tooth was removed I was surprised it happened so quickly without any problems. The outcome of the procedure exceeded my expectations, it was outstanding. Thanks to Hamza, Lou and Liz, 5 stars!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent care by the Dentist, do not have to wait long for an appt

Negative experience: Second time in sucsession I've been for an appointment, arrived 15 minutes early both times, both times kept waiting for an hour. Yet at least 10 other people and counting have arrived after me and been seen before me. Rubbish customer service. Although the receptionist is very polite and friendly, shame it falls down at the points that count.
