Fantastic experience: After a check up and x-rays I needed a root filling and an extraction, missed by my previous Dentist ! These procedures were carried out by Holly over two separate appointments, The treatment I received from all the staff from Julie on reception through to Holly and her assistant and the lady who did my x-rays was first class.

Fantastic experience: I needed a route canal treatment and my dentist Musa at red rose dental did this for me. Musa was excellent and explained everything to me, I am so grateful that he has saved my tooth from extraction. Thank you Musa.

Negative experience: I called about my daughter’s braces after she lost a bracket. I understand they may not repair work done elsewhere, but the response was rude and dismissive.13y old in pain!I wasn't expecting a free service either. No guidance or alternatives offered. A complete lack of basic duty of care and professionalism, lets not even mention compassion. And you call yourselves medical professionals?

Negative experience: Awful experience, I only wanted a filling or the minor issue sorting. Sent me all round the building costing loads of money trying to find things to work on instead of dealing with the issue I wanted sorting. Whole experience felt like a dodgy garage trying to create work and still owe me money.

Fantastic experience: I visited several weeks ago for my first dental check up in ten years and was seen by Holly. She immediately put me at ease alongside dental nurse Isabelle and I made another appointment to see Amir on her advice. I saw Amir last week and have a good treatment plan in place that I am happy with. I felt so comfortable at this surgery, that I enquired about bringing me Autistic daughter for a checkup. We visited last week and she saw Holly. What a wonderful lady she is, she put my daughter at ease and was gentle and kind. We returned today for my daughter to have a filling and a clean done, again both by Holly with Isabelle assisting. I was absolutely amazed to see my daughter sit still throughout both procedures as she was treated with respect and care, even down to them letting her rinse her mouth with water rather than mouth wash due to her sensory issues. Holly and Isabelle are an amazing team, and I think they are both incredible professionals. I cannot thank them enough for the care they have provided to both my daughter and myself.

Fantastic experience: The treatment I received was second to none. Dr Amish Chumman is a first class dentist and the whole process of four implants in my upper right jaw was seamless and painless. I felt confident that checks were being carried out all through the process by x rays and the equipment used is state of the art. I would heartily recommend the practice, all the staff and particularly Dr Chumman.

Fantastic experience: I recently finished a course of treatment with Dr Chuman at Red Rose dental practice. This was to have 2 implants fitted. The whole process took around 6 months and several visits to the practice. During this time I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort despite having 2 teeth removed and the new implants fitted. Dr Chuman explained clearly all the aspects of the procedure, and I am very pleased with the results. I would recommend Dr Chuman and Red Rose to anyone considering dental implants

Fantastic experience: I had a full set of top dental implants and teeth performed by my dentist Atish Chummun at my dentist red rose Wigan. I was a little hesitant at first but I needant be from day one Atish and his dental nurse Sarah looked after me, made me feel comfortable kept me informed of everything that was going on and made everything so nice for me,and I can't thank them enough.the whole experience was well worth it as I have a lovely smile and can now bite on apples once again 10/10

Last year I was reccommended to Atish & his team by My Dentist Bolton. The process from start to finish was excellent, thorough, professional, caring and a fabulous experience from beginning to end. I had some really bad, loose and broken teeth and I now have a smile I am very proud of and can eat & chew like a good un!! So Thank you Dr Atish Chummun and the Red Rose team - I would not hesitiate in reccomending you & your services to anyone. Thanks again Gary

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give more than 5 stars, I came to this dental practice with a failing bridge which was beyond repair, I've always been anxious and nervous regarding any dental procedure. My dentist Dr Chummun explained my options in detail and I decided to have implants, the whole procedure and aftercare was amazing, My implants look and feel like my own teeth, big thank you to Dr Chummun and the team, highly recommended.

Negative experience: Had a Hygiene/ Air flow treatment today with my wife, we paid each £85 for 30 min treatment and as everyone we would expect quality job to be done for that amount what we paid , but we been sadly surprised that our treatment ended after 15min / each.. , even though treatment should last 30min , as it’s shows on our treatment plan !! We checked our teeth and both been disappointed, as many stains still been left on our teeth , we would really expect that process of treatment would take with accuracy and details really matter!! Treatment shouldn’t end after 15min if the job not been done! It’s not our first visit and it’s sad, specially now when this treatment been increased to £100 !! Really would expect improvement, quality/ details in job!

Fantastic experience: I come to This dentist 8 weeks ago I was a nervous wreck at my first appointment musa the dentist was lovely took his time and explained what he was doing and took it in stages he explained I needed some teeth out quite a lot in fact I attended my 2nd appointment a few weeks ago and went in to basically say I didn’t want them out but musa convinced me to let him show me how easy it would be so we took it in stages he never rushed told me would could take a break if we wanted to as his next patient had cancelled so there was no rush I attended my 3rd appointment today as we had agreed to take the teeth out in stages so today was the last 4 he cleaned my teeth and we arranged my impressions for in 3 months time after my mouth had heald musa has not only helped with my dental work but helping with my confidence I cannot praise him enough without him I wouldn’t of had the work done on my teeth I have always been scared of the dentist thank you musa I’ll be forever great full for your time patience and care the reception staff and the care coordinator are lovely very welcoming and patient aswell as helpful i am slowly getting my confidence back with my teeth with this great dentist thank you all so much I can not recommend you enough if you are nervous this is the best dentist to go you will be very well looked after Alexandra carter

Dr Chummun and his team took the time to explain each stage of the procedure in detail, whilst putting me at ease. Fantastic experience: Needed to see a dentist and had to go private as no NHS, so after ringing around I decided on Red Rose and so glad I did. Barry was lovely and I was really happy with what he did and how much it cost. I also saw Shirley the hygienist who was also lovely and very gentle but thorough. Based on my experience I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have recently completed a series of appointments for two dental implants and a bridge with Atish Chummum who was excellent. He explained everything thoroughly and the treatment was very successful. Both he and all the staff were very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommended them.

Negative experience: Awful experience, would not recommend anyone attend here. Receptionist was lovely but it sounds like the management and / or dental staff are the LEAST compassionate, caring people you could encounter. I would recommend people find an alternative practice, especially those with children, where life doesn't always give you 24 hours notice.On the other hand, you can count on them to charge you, and then charge you again for nothing. Horrendous policies & procedures. In response to the below reply: I'd rather not speak to anyone from that practice again. I've paid for nothing, to be told I can be refunded once I can prove myself? I don't work there, what on earth kind of ethos is that within customer service. The receptionist as I said was lovely. The management were the ones who had the final say on whether my bereavement was a "good enough" reason to rearrange my appointment and not charge me again. I called up before the appointment and with it not being within a certain time frame it means I'd have to pay again. I appreciate cancellations etc can cause mayhem but family emergencies like that, don't give any notice. Appalling service in this day and age, or any for that matter.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extraction on 29.07.2024 with Atish Chummun at mydentist (Red Rose Dental) on New Market Street on edge of Wigan town centre. I'd been putting the extraction off for a very long time (a number of years) as I had been dreading it, but the time had eventually come when it had to be done. Atish and his assistant were exceptional in their skill and care in the tooth extraction and some minor stitching of the gum that was necessary as part of the procedure. A truly professional service, in my honest opinion.

Fantastic experience: NEW REVIEW .. 18/07/2024 This review is based solely on my dentist, Katherine & dental assistant, Gemma. (Although everyone at the practice are wonderful.) Where do i start? Katherine is the best dentist i have ever had, and Gemma too. Both ladies are very friendly yet professional, understanding, kind, and caring, and I've never felt as at ease and with complete faith in them. The work i've had with them is absolutely outstanding. Katherine explains everything step by step and listens to what the patient wants. She is the only dentist who has diagnosed problems that I've had for years without even knowing where other dentists have not. My oral health is so much better now. I've just had a new bridge fitted, and i can not express how happy i am with the outcome. Everything is perfect! I can not thank Katherine and Gemma enough for what they have done for me. Not only have they given me back confidence, but it really has changed my life. Everyone should have a dentist like Katherine! Gemma is just awesome, too! I actually enjoy going to the dentist because i know I'm with two of the best. I'd also like to thank Phil. He is really friendly and funny and i feel at ease immediately. He's an amazing dentist with so much knowledge. I can honestly say that not only are they amazing dentist and assistant but i consider them my friends. From the receptionists, dental nurses, dentists, radiographers.. every single person at this practice, going above and beyond to provide excellent treatment during this pandemic! Fantastic experience: Had a really positive experience getting affordable private dental treatments at the Red Rose dental practice through Myoptions. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, I was helped to set up a finance agreement with ease, and I was able to get all of my appointments booked within a few weeks of each other! I am hugely satisfied with the outcome of the treatments, which included composite bonding to fix the cosmetic appearance of my teeth. My smile has never looked better thanks to Dr Chummun and the dental nurses! I highly recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I recently had dental implants fitted by Dr Chuman, he explained everything about the whole procedure in great detail, answered all the questions I had and put me a great ease. I'm really happy with the end results and would recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I've been attending as a private patient for almost 3 years - a lengthy process but worth it! Initially I was having Invisalign in order to correct teeth that had become very crooked as I'd aged. I also had an incisor that hadn't made an appearance when my other adult teeth came through, so a gap was created to see if it would come through. As it didn't, it was removed, and when my teeth were straight I had an implant and some of my teeth had composite bonds to make them more uniform in appearance, as opposed to looking overly white and fake. I now have what I consider to be 'normal' teeth, and I can smile without being self conscious. Thanks to Andre and Atish for the treatment, and to all the staff, (in particular Karen) who were helpful, informative and kept my spirits up!

Negative experience: I did originally give this dental practice a great review as the quality of work they do is actually fantastic however this has now changed drastically because the receptionist is really argumentative and unhelpful. The dentist will NOT allow me to get a root canal on a failing tooth that's infected until I have another tooth out on the other side of my mouth that's broken down but not actively causing me any problems. So I am left on pain with an infection and not being given treatment unless I agree to have another tooth out DESPITE THE FACT I PAY IN FULL FOR TREATMENT!. In summary IF they do the work it's high quality work but IF the receptionist decides to argue with you you'll have to suffer in pain or find somewhere else from a place that's supposed to have a top rating.

Transfer to here, and she loves her braces now. Staff are so polite and helpful and really went out of their way to be as informative as possible for her and ourselves. Can’t recommend enough!

Negative experience: Traumatic experience. The service from the reception staff and practice manager was very poor. I have changed to another dentist but am several hundreds of pounds down and still having issues 3 months post treatment here. I would avoid if you can.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant with kids, the lady on the first floor we see has been thorough, explained everything to us and kept us up to date with my child’s orthodontic wait time. Always manage to fit us in when needed. Ladies on reception are lovely too.

Negative experience: I've had multiple appointments here, always arrived on time and never got into the surgery on my appointed time due to delays on their end, sometimes waiting as long as 45 minutes more. Yesterday I was taking my 6 year old down and got stuck in traffic, called ahead to say I would be ten minutes late and when I turned up 10 minutes late, they had cancelled our appointment and told us we would need to rearrange. Very poor practice and double standards. You need to do better Red Rose.

Negative experience: Had a (free consultation) I mean I sat in a room why some guy who didn't bother introducing himself Sat across from me told me how much my implant would cost . Not Interested at all. Didn't look at my gap just told me the cost. And then said desk is there where you pay. I would never hand so much money over to someone with that attitude. Good luck guys ripping the public off

Negative experience: Had an 8.30am scan appointment today. I arrived at 8.20am and was directed to the waiting room. At 8.51am I went back to reception to see if they’d forgotten about me. The receptionist rang through and said she is coming now. At 9.01 she arrived without any apology and took my scan. She then proceeded to charge me £5 more for the scan. When I questioned this increase she said it went up on Monday and however I booked my appointment on the Tuesday! When I was quoted £130 not £135. This place is a joke!

Negative experience: My upper jaw was broken by specialist implantologist Dr Atish Chummum. He said I had a hole in my jaw. He'd have to cut my gum and remove the piece of bone. I knew this was untrue. After stitches and being told I could t have further treatment until the bine mebed,u confined him. He admitted he'd made a mistake and knocked s 5mm prieve of bone out of my jaw. I wouldn't go back to him ever. I don't trust him. Jenn Randles

Fantastic experience: I have had a route canal by John today. I wasn’t looking forward to it but I can whole heartedly say it was brilliant. John was incredible- talked me through every step. His manner and the way he spoke to the dental nurse was fantastic. The dental nurse was also lovely and put me at ease. Don’t hesitate in saving a tooth- it really wasn’t anything to worry about.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this dental practice with a failed root canal and no hope! I was then treated by a fantastic dentist Jonathon Skidmore, who gave me an early consultation and was not only personable but very experienced in his craft. Both dental nurses provided good support and had a very friendly manner which immediately put me at ease. The x ray nurse was lovely, as were the reception staff, in particular Julie who was my first introduction to this service. As I was concerned about the future treatment she very quickly arranged for me to discuss alternative treatments to ensure that I was comfortable with my choice. The lady that explained implants to me was knowledgeable and provided me with enough information to make an informed decision. As it is primarily a private dentist, the fees were expensive but well deserved as on this occasion I may have lost the tooth had Jonathon not saved it. As with all root canal treatments I will have to wait and see if it has worked however I will know that Jonathon provided me with the best possible chance of it being successful. Thank you Jonathon and the lovely dental nurses that assisted so that my smile can last a little longer!!!

Negative experience: orthodontists are rude and have personal conversations whilst in your mouth! very unprofessional, i feel uncomfortable every time i visit. reception ends the call after you’ve held for 15 mins so you have to call back again and hold only to have the phone put down on you again when you get through!

Fantastic experience: If you are scared to have a root canal treatment like I was don’t be Dr Jonathan Skidmore and his team where amazing friendly caring understanding and kind and can honestly say there was zero pain using the latest dental technology from start to finish anyone thinking about having a root canal treatment , I would not hesitate in recommending Dr Skidmore and his dental nurse and have already recommended to all my family and friend if I could give them 10/10 I would extremely professional and highly skilled they first time I went I was a little nervous but after the first treatment I went into the second with a smile very pleasant experience can’t thank them enough Kind Regards Mr William Boswell

Fantastic experience: Last visit was just a check up for myself and children. Friendly service and advice as usual. One child needed a filling on a chipped tooth. My child has autism and can be very nervous. Dr Ishaque is always very clear when explaining any procedures - putting adults and children at ease.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent practice. I had alot of problems over the covid period. Failed root canal, lost the tooth with a previous dentist. Then l needed another root canal. Luckily l found mr dawson who saved the tooth. He has been so helpful and caring in sorting my dental situ out. Also l see holly who is very good to. Fantastic experience: From the first assessment to formulate my dental treatment plan to the end result of implants and crowns, I have received the utmost care and attention to detail from Dr Atish Chummun and his team and I am very pleased with the end result, my ‘new teeth’ look natural. I was put at ease at every appointment, was never made to feel a nuisance when I explained how having impressions caused me to gag-there is a scanner available to replace those and even when an impression was required, he had a technique to deal with that. Fantastic experience: When to the dentist to have a tooth extraction (decaying) Dr Ishaque by far best dentist I've had. Cares for your needs, ask if your ok even if you didn't raise your hand. First tooth extraction was really nervous but didn't wait long to be in and out.

Fantastic experience: To cut a long story short, I visited here to get advice on replacing 2 teeth. I hadn't seriously considered implants (to be honest, the idea of them bothered me) until I met Dr. Atish Chummun. He exudes knowledge and understanding of not only high end dentistry, but of the many options available to a patient. If he says it's the best way forward, you can take that to the bank. So after a short meeting I was convinced to go for implants. Again, he made me feel confident in his skillset. Honestly, every visit and aspect of the care throughout was commendable. The staff are all lovely, happy people and no matter what part of a treatment you're in for, they'll make you feel happy and calm. Every part of the implant procedure went surprisingly quickly, pain-free and handled with 100% professionalism. The team worked around my schedule and I am extremely happy with the final result. I cant say enough about how easy the whole thing was. If you are considering replacing teeth but are weary of implants, I would suggest you go and have a consult. Atish certainly did the very best by me. I can smile confidently again.

Fantastic experience: I’ve just had implants in by DrAmish Chummun and I’m very pleased with the service I’ve received he was the most patient man as I wasn’t the easiest of patients.It was a long treatment but he was so methodical I can’t understand anyone going abroad for implants as it’s not just one visit you go for a few treatments.Anyway a big thank you to all the staff you were all great.
