Fantastic experience: I am a retired dental Practice owner and needed to find a good dentist that I felt comfortable with. I went to Bupa as it has a very good reputation and see a Dentist called Vania Hiratsuka Dalmedo. I was a bit apprehensive as I have always had treatment by Dentists I knew. However, Vania was fabulous! She took time to listen to me, was kind, gentle and addressed all my concerns. I felt in very safe hands and I have already booked my next visit. Thank you Vania

Negative experience: Today was the first time I chose to see a Bupa dentist and I had high hopes for this place given the high ratings on here. However my experience with Vania Hiratsuka Dalmedo was awful. Her manner was rude and confrontational, and her communication was incoherent - to the point that I had no choice but to leave the appointment half way through as she made me feel so uncomfortable. Just a really unprofessional and uncomfortable experience overall. I expected better (much, much better) from a reputable (but clearly overrated) brand like Bupa.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an implant replacement done at Bupa Dental Care in Canary Wharf, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with how everything went. From the very first appointment to the final result, the whole experience was fantastic. This wasn’t my first treatment with them, and every single time I’ve felt completely at ease. From the clean, hygienic environment to the friendly, professional staff — everything about this practice gives you confidence and peace of mind. I only wish I had found Dr. Bryar Koyi sooner, as I had a bad experience with an implant at another clinic before. Prices for implants more or less similar everywhere, but let’s be honest — you can’t put a price on trust, and that’s exactly what I found here. Dr. Koyi and his nurse Anuska were an absolute dream team. So professional, kind, and clearly very skilled at what they do. They made the entire process smooth and surprisingly stress-free. Dr. Koyi took the time to explain everything clearly. Anuska was just as amazing — calm, supportive, and so caring throughout every visit. If you’re thinking about getting an implant, don’t even think twice — go and see this team. They truly are amazing, and I can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I have been a customer for many years at BUPA Canary Wharf. I have just had a tooth repaired and as always the quality of work from my dentist Vania was excellent. As well as being extremely professional she has a clear and very personable communication style and manner which makes the experience as stress free as going to the dentist can be. I’m very happy to recommend Vania for any dentistry work. I would also like to complement my hygienist Geraldine who always does a wonderful job and has gently cajoled and helped me take better care of my teeth by showing me exactly the best ways to do so (it might sound obvious but most dentists tell you what to do but don’t train you to do in the best way how to actually do it)

Just had a wisdom tooth removed, didn't even know it was removed, they have a different technique these days, not like the old move it to one side and the other and pull, and remember the ole gas mask round your mouth as a child. Anyway, excellent dentists

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr Choudhury and the entire team at Bupa Dental Care Canary Wharf. From the moment I walked in, the reception staff was welcoming, friendly, and super helpful, which immediately put me at ease. Dr.Choudhury was fantastic—patient, thorough, and took the time to explain everything we were doing in a way that made sense. I never once felt rushed or like just another appointment on the schedule. On top of that, he has such an engaging and reassuring personality that actually made the whole experience enjoyable (which is not something I ever thought I’d say about a dental visit!).

Positive experience: Good practice with good dentists and hygienists but the prices are EXTORTIONATE. It must be the most expensive practice in the country. £160+ for a hygienist appointment!!! One can only dread for any serious dental work like root canal. You better fly abroad for treatment or you will feel that you live in poverty even with an investment banking job...

Negative experience: My experience was not a positive one. I went in with pain in my tooth, I left with anti body ( Erythromycin ) and not treating the causes. I suffered for the following few days and saw another dentist at another centre. I will never go back to this centre. Had the doctor made an effort to know the causes, I would have avoided all the pains I had. But unfortunately, she did the minimum I believe.

Negative experience: Unhelpful reception on the telephone. Couldn't provide a transparent price plan or answer simple questions that should be answered before a consultation.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely excellent. Mr. Hughes is certainly the best dentist I have ever been to.

Negative experience: I had two emergency appointments to fix a broken crown during lock down, which went well. After this initial work I was given a few different options for follow up. I asked for specific information around a given option by email and even mentioned that I would be available to pay for a consultation just to discuss this, but they never replied back to me (this was more than 1 month ago). Leaving a patient with no reply in the middle of a treatment plan is very unprofessional. I still give 2 starts because I have no complaints regarding the actual appointments that I attended, but I won't be using this clinic anymore. EDIT (as response to owner): There was no response to my email. After seeing their comment here, I forwarded them the email they didn't reply to. I was not expecting a response (I didn't get one) as I had already started the treatment again in another clinic, but I was expecting them to recognize the mistake and edit their comment to my review. They didn't.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Alan Young for years and it is always a very professional,caring and friendly experience. I absolutely trust Alan's advice, he explains everything so well and there is no pressure. This week I had a tooth extracted for the first time and it was so quick and painless that I was amazed. As always Alan was so kind and calming. Reception are cheery and efficient.

Fantastic experience: Very nice people, even made me a cup of coffee when I arrived (I wasn't having treatment). My wife was told the actual cost before work commenced and there were no hidden extras. Due to Pandemic the local area was a bit like an apocalype but with this little oasis working well virtually in isolation. The nearest underground car park was OK and quite reasonable. We did not have dental insurance but found that the charges were reasonable. I had tried to get an emergency appointment closer to home, but was met with absolute disdane by 3 local dentists, two of which I had used in the past, (but never again). Bupa Dental care didn't make any fuss and gave me an offer of several appointments. Thank you.
