Fantastic experience: From the receptionist to the dentist, a very smooth and professional service. Upon calling Synergy Dental, I was talked through my dental options and the receptionist didn’t hesitate to answer any questions and she had an answer for everything i needed. The dentist was very pleasant with all his instructions in what i need to do for my treatment. It was a very comfortable place to be and definitely would recommend to others who are looking for a affordable dentist with a exceptional service.

Positive experience: Been here for a few weeks every time I go they are so helpful and my treatment has been excellent I am currently using Invisalign cannot wait to see my improvement in a few months

Negative experience: AVOID. I paid deposit for an appointment and the dentist cancelled so I went elsewhere. Dentist is refusing to give me back my full deposit even though THEY cancelled!! AVOID THIS PRACTICE.

Negative experience: Don’t get composite bonding here. I had a major insecurity about my teeth and only went to get a single tooth lengthened so it looked symmetrical and it was done way too big , too sharp, uncomfortable and just overall looked fake and comical. It made me feel even worse. After trying to be super meticulous with explaining how I wanted the tooth and checking it with a mirror it was still done to an unsatisfactory level. I had to go home and even it out myself to fit my mouth with a nail file! If I was able to slightly shorten and sort it out myself I don’t understand how ‘professionals’ weren’t able to… luckily I went to my home country where they fixed the poorly done composite. As a student who cannot afford expensive dental work , if you can spend your money elsewhere, do and don’t risk poor results. They followed the appointment by saying ‘teeth aren’t easy’… nothing is but you should be good at your profession especially when this is a part of inside of your customers mouth for many years, time and care should be taken on it .

Negative experience: I’m still upset about offering to pay in full for an appointment November 2024, being told by the receptionist the date and time in person and writing it down, only to recieve an email a few days before my appointment to say that apparently she had booked it for an earlier date and that I had missed it and would be charged the full amount that I paid upfront which was hundreds of pounds. I have since spent thousands of pounds at a different dentist. I did ring to ask why this happened to me numerous times but the phone was never answered. I was discussing this with my dentist today.

Fantastic experience: Having been absolutely terrified and nearly bottling out of going. The experience was so comforting. No judgement, no feeling like you are waisting time and understanding of nerves and anxiety. Could not recommend any more highly if like me you are a nervous wreck. Thank you so much.

Negative experience: Currently only giving 1 star as after paying a lot of money to have 7 of my upper teeth composite veneers (and thats inly because of the lovelygirl on reception). I have been back and to since July having them repaired due to chipping and cracks. I was only there 2 weeks ago and low and behold another has a crack in it. I spoke to the practice manager who promised me a call back which I have never had, however on the day I did speak to her she suggested i find another dentist closer to home to fix my teeth and a £200 refund to pay for said repair. I live in north wales and have been back and to now that many times I've lost count. Not only is this costing me money for fuel, parking and the tunnel im having to take time off work by booking holidays to travel. I have never been so disappointed and let down by a dentist it's really upsetting especially when you have saved for over a year to apy for my treatment. I am looking to take this further and expect to get a full refund or treatment at another practice due to the trouble I have had. The dentist by the way makes me feel like I am a nuisance and he stood me i will get chips due to wear and tear. I wear my gum shield religiously every night. Absolutely shocking practice

Fantastic experience: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Gave me great advice that was geared towards what was best for me and not to squeeze more money out of me. I'd also add that they're a lot cheaper than previous dentist and they offer appts in the evening as well as Saturday so I don't have to worry about having to get time off from work

Negative experience: I can only say that I do not recommend this dental clinic (Liverpool) I am disappointed to have chosen it. I spent my money on a GOLD STANDARD CROWN that only lasted approximately 15 months. It is crazy to spend your money with them They do not offer quality. The dentist, Ubayda Alshanti, is a very kind person, but I think he is not qualified for this type of treatment....... I'm disappointed I choose that placeWhen looking for a dental clinic, do it with patience and time so that you have the right options to choose from...

Negative experience: Went here to get composite veneers. Thought I was going to get to see how my teeth would look before they got fitted as this is what it shows on the Synergy site. I was pleased with the work I seen on the main site. However my teeth ended up like rats teeth. He shaved them down as far as he could and they still looked terrible. He had seen how I wanted them but couldn’t do them that way so did them any old way. I’ve sobbed my heart out. I won’t leave my house and the reply to my complaint was they would knock 700 pound off to take them out but my crown won’t match as I got a new one fitted at the same time. Also, one of the veneers has a piece chipped off. This happened a day or two after being fitted and I wasn’t even eating! I will be taking this further. Avoid this dentist at all costs!! I’ve also seen on here that someone has a court case against this dentist too.Ubayda Alshanti Is the dentist I seen.

Positive experience: The staff are very accommodating and although I’ve had to return a few times to have adjustments they reassured me throughout the process and made every effort to ensure my porcelain vaneers was exactly how I wanted them They took time to listen to my thoughts and have always be very supportive Reception girls are lovely and always chatty which helps with the pre appointment nerves

Fantastic experience: Nice convenient place, friendly staff, procedure and what will happen nice was greatly explained. Update: advice was to have tooth removed, I have been petrified of going to a dentist after having a terrible experience a few years ago after I had to have a tooth removed due to being kicked in the face, the previous dentist (at a different establishment) took over 20 minutes to remove the tooth and ended up leaving some of the tooth there, which then got severely infected and ended up with me being rushed to hospital close to sepsis and a night in the hospital on a drip. After telling Dr Alshanti how nervous I was with the procedure, he put my mind at ease. He had the tooth out within 5 minutes to my surprise, except for an accidental cut to my lip, the whole experience was fine and I left happy and pain free. 3 days later and everything is fine. I 100% recommend Dr Alshanti and will be going for a check up in few weeks time. Thanks for making everything pain free.

Negative experience: This is my first time going to dental for professional cleaning, I felt like the person rushed a lot and teeth hasn't been cleaned properly there quite few stains left on the teeth(it might be the way it is). I felt it could have been more approachable, or talking through the process or making the people feel more welcome.

Positive experience: Walked in to book an appointment and we were greeted with friendliness Booked and paid for our appointment and when we arrived 2 girls at reception weren't very friendly but at least my tooth was fixed temporarily and the girl at the reception when we 1st walked in was actually assisting the dentist. She was very thoughtful and lovely hence we decided to come in. Every thing went well and tge Dentist was very gentle and very informative.

Fantastic experience: From start to finish, i was made to feel at ease. I am usually absolutely petrified at the dentist, but i feel i have overcome the fear. Both the dentist and the dental nurses made me feel so at ease & i have finished my treatment with a winning smile ( even after the fire alarm went off & we had to evacuate the building ) Never thought i would say this , but i am actually looking forward to going back for a check up in November. Thank you so much , i can smile again without any worry .

Negative experience: Had a denture fitted and 4 teeth out asked multiple times can i eat with it in was told it was fine paid £1200 for the teatment after 24 hours it was still loose so dropped them a msg was told it was due to extraction ect didnt get any better was then told use fixodent so tried this it still loose as hell so cant eat properly at with it in cant seal it or anything but theyve had there 1200 so they dont care they also sit you in the chair put needles in your face then shove a pad to sign consent forms in your face whilst sat in the chair sure this is bad practice?

Negative experience: This is got to be the worst denial severe if your like your like me scared and nervous about going to the dentist i had full dental implants top and bottom 2 years ago paid the full amount up front and now am getting letters and emails saying I owe them more money i called them after a long time on the phone listening to that answering machine and then was told no one is available and got cut off tryed again and this time I managed to speak to someone asked what's going on and to explain wye I am getting letters and emails from you saying I owe them money i explain that I have all the invoices and receipts was told to send them over which I did was then told not to worry about it as we don't send the bailiffs out and we will get back to you then got an email saying I can't book any further appointments or check up appointments until I have paid the full amount is cleared witch is don't owe anything and the cheque side of appointments i have only had about 5 in the last 2 years very disappointing with the service

Negative experience: Got a porcelain veneer back in 2007, it fell out in 2024, fair enough. Went to smile works and they made a turd of a job about it. Complained and got a refund. This fell out in march this year so just over a year in place, I do take good care of my teeth as you can see 14 years prior the first one lasted, so 14 months when it's meant to last 10 plus years is awful. Went to synergy to get it out back in, it was in perfect condition. It was in for 2 months (march - may) I've now swallowed the tooth and need to pay another 600-900 quid to get another one. Avoid both dentists, they honestly don't care. My dentist in London was excellent, I'm now looking for a dentist and don't feel like I can trust a single one of them.

I really didn't need to be. The staff here are amazing and the dentist and nurse have been with me from the start, not only for my treatment but absolute moral support and guidance too. Fantastic experience: I’ve just had my tooth removed and the staff were professional and the whole thing was nicely done.

Negative experience: This is the worst dentist I have ever seen in history, and I am taking Dr. Alshanti to court. My experience at this clinic was nothing short of a nightmare. In December, I had a root canal done by Dr. Alshanti, who initially claimed everything went well, but I left feeling uneasy. He didn’t even show me any X-rays, which made me suspicious from the start. Three weeks later, I started experiencing pain in the same tooth. When I returned, Dr. Alshanti admitted he had left a space in the root, causing the pain. Instead of taking responsibility, he told me to "wait another week." When I asked for a refund so I could redo the procedure properly with a microscope, his attitude completely shifted. He became defensive, dismissive, and even sarcastic, despite openly acknowledging that the procedure hadn’t been done correctly. Worst of all, he kept lying and changing his story every 10 minutes—my husband and I both heard it. The most shocking part? He admitted that only about 60% of the procedure had been successful. If that’s the case, why did he even attempt it? He even said he informs all his patients about this low success rate—can you imagine a dentist saying that?! To make matters worse, he even disrespected his own profession by saying that now it’s “another dentist’s problem” to fix what he did wrong. He essentially passed the burden of fixing his horrible work onto someone else. To top it all off, he refused to refund me or redo the procedure, showing zero accountability or professionalism. This clinic and Dr. Alshanti are an absolute disgrace. Save yourself the pain, frustration, and financial loss, and go to a dentist who actually stands behind their work. Avoid at all costs!

Negative experience: Not good. Paid around £100 for fancy teeth cleaning service (called oxy clean I think) in September. Was rushed in and out. Done in about 15 mins with my teeth not properly cleaned. 100% do not recommend and will not be back.

The Dentist Ubayda Alshanti and the assistant/nurse put me at ease straight away and were so lovely and understanding. Fantastic experience: Brilliant service and very quick and easy to book. I was seen within days of booking, which is something I can't do at my own dentist! It takes 3 weeks sometimes. Very happy with service and very friendly staff.

Negative experience: They charged me for an extraction £150. I went home and checked on their price list, since £150 sounds way too much for an extraction and I was right, they supposed to charge me only £80. I called many times and the receptionist kept telling that the manager would call me back to sort out the matter, but no one ever called. I decided to pay them a visit and the manager was sitting at the reception desk and she said that there was nothing that she could do to help. Worst experience ever. Regarding your answer: The only reason why you answered is to make yourself look good on people’s eyes. I called many times and I paid you a visit at the practice at the end you told me that there is nothing you can do, and this is the reason why I gave you this very review. So now stop trying make people think that you will sort out this matter since you have no intention to sort it out but only to make people think that you will. Stop pretending.

Update: Came back to the practice to have composite bonding performed by Dr. Alshanti, he was fantastic in treating an issue which has caused me problems in the past, the composite bonding was performed to a very high standard and alleviated all of my concerns that I had.
