Fantastic experience: Really Friendly, very short wait to be seen, very short wait for appointments

Negative experience: Avoid. Went in today and the lady Lauren i believe her name is on reception was stood there gossiping to a gentlemen about her 'family problems' for 3 minutes. Im the only one in the queue. Im with my 3 year old so as he was getting bored I say come on let's go sit on the seats. At that point she finally acknowledged me , "oh did you want something" after standing there waiting for a rude tax payed employee to just gossip and not work I said, "no you guys finish your chat" I then waited 15 more minutes and the conversation still hadn't stopped. Learnt a lot about her family, instead of my child's teeth today. We left before our appointment as we couldn't even book in past her chatting. Not one word she said was anything to do with the dentist. Just family drama.

Negative experience: The only reason it has 2 stars is because Ellie is absolutely AWESOME! other than that I'm disgusted about the way I've been treated by the dentist Tara and her assistant Darcey, which I raised a complaint about only to have them lie to the manager and I end up with a formal warning! Ellie on the other hand was so apologetic and got us in with a different dentist lady for future appointments, which goes to show I wasn't the one in the wrong contrary to what the manager has been led to believe by Tara/Darcey. THANK YOU ELLIE, YOU'RE A CREDIT TO THIS COMPANY!!

Positive experience: For years treatment and service second to none. But the last 2 visits for first time not so good. 1st visit i had to ask if he was finished as no one said anything and i was left in chair. Second visit after extraction not told anything just given a leaflet. Not told when to take gauze out etc. asked about antibiotics as i am prone to infection and have mitral valve prolapse and valvular heart disease. All of which was on form i filled out.

Fantastic experience: Staff at mydentist are extremely helpful especially Ellie as she stood out helping me with my dilemma, Nothing seemed to be any problem for her, She was very helpful, courteous, extremely kind and a smile to make anyone feel relaxed and welcome. I would not hesitate to recommend her , she has an extremely professional manner, also my Dentist himself Rami at My Dentist on Leamington Road Blackpool is superb, so down to earth, friendly and an extremely gentle dentist too. My whole experience with the two mentioned above helped make my experience a very relaxed and confident one . Always a pleasure going as I know I’m in good hands

Negative experience: This place might have rave reviews but it is false advertising at their entrance when they say they provide nhs dentistry which they clearly don't so if you're looking for an nhs dentist in blackpool you'll be out of luck here as it's all private and people on benefits can't afford that treatment another case of profit before people they should hang their heads

Fantastic experience: First time at this dentist. Took my 2 year old son for his first dental appointment and from beginning to end the staff were very friendly, welcoming, helpful and professional. The receptionist Ellie was so lovely and very happy to help with any questions I had. We had a dentist called Rami, he was very friendly, professional and extremely patient with our wee boy. With it being his first time there, he was scared but Rami and his assistant were kind and did everything they could to make his visit as comfortable as possible. We are going back and I'm glad it's Rami we're seeing again as a familiar face each time will gradually ease our wee boys worries. We're happy to recommend this dental practice to anyone as in all my years I've never been to one this good. A+++++

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this dentist for a long time, and every time I visit, Ellie on reception is absolutely brilliant. Last week, while I was waiting for my appointment, I saw her help a lady who was feeling nervous and became upset. Ellie came out from behind the desk and gave her a reassuring cuddle, telling her everything would be alright. Then, another lady needed a taxi, so Ellie called one for her and even asked the company to make sure the driver came inside to collect her — all while answering the phone and managing people coming and going. Outstanding customer service – well done, Ellie!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for over 12 months and hadn’t accessed dental care for a long time prior. I finally built up the courage to book an appointment for an examination. I was quite nervous attending for the first time, however staff here take this into consideration and make you feel at ease. Staff are very kind and reassuring during procedures. I find their monthly payment plans reasonable, and I have had the examination and scale a polish that were included in my plan. Whilst NHS dentistry is exceptionally difficult to obtain at this current time, MyDentist provides an affordable option through their private dental care plans at reasonable prices. This is a fantastic dental surgery and I would highly recommend to anyone in joining this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my family have been at this dentist for several years now. I honestly have to say that it is by far the best I have ever been to by a long way! The receptionists are always very polite and helpful, both on the phone and in person, and appointments are always available, its extremely well run and organised. The dentist I have always seen (Rami) is such an amazing dentist. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, he puts you at ease. He always seems to take his time and is always gentle and is always thinking about you and your feelings in that chair, his knowledge is second to none, top, top, dentist!!! All the assistants that I have seen have been very polite, knowledgeable and thorough. I vouch for all of the above, as can my wife, daughter, and father/mother in law. Fantastic experience: My husband and I were warmly greeted by the receptionist and asked to sit in the waiting room. We didn't have to wait too long as the appointments ran pretty much to time. Both of our appointments were with Rami, I am always really nervous about going to the dentist but as always he put me at ease and was so gentle. The practice is always very clean and hygienic.

Fantastic experience: I have recently been transferred to Leamington Rd, My Dentist, due to NHS dentists. Since I have been there, everyone has been so nice and helpful. A special mention to Ellie, on reception, who is not only professional and extremely competent, she goes above and beyond to make sure the service you receive is 5 star! I lost a plate with my tooth on and had to have a maryland bridge. There were lots of issues with scanners, cancelled appointments and my bridge being back on time for a very important weekend. Ellie made numerous phone calls for me and kept in touch with me all the way. I had a number of appointments that had to be cancelled but Ellie reassured me on every phone call and made me feel much better. Everything was completed in time. A big thankyou to G, the dentist and a huge thankyou to Ellie, on reception who is amazing, polite, lovely, professional, competent and a fantastic asset to My Dentist at Leamington Rd. Fantastic experience: If I could give 10s ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I absolutely would. So I had an emergency appointment on Monday for extrem pain in clevleys for the dentist to rush me in and out and put something over my tooth. I was still in massive amounts of pain so this morning I rang the emergency dentist and got in at MY DENTIST what a warm welcome from the ladies on the desk. I wasn't waiting to long for my appointment either the clinicians name was RAMI he was very pleasant with me and took his time into doing X-rays on my teeth to find out that the actual problem was I had a massive hole in one of my back teeth he then said it needed to come out he was patient with me and made me feel at ease as this was my first ever tooth to come out. I wish this dentist was taking on new patients that are not Private payers as well as Private payers because I'd definitely be joining I've also only heard good things about this dentist honestly you'll be in safe hands here.. Forever grateful and painfree Thank you so so much

Fantastic experience: Today was our second time at this dentist. I cannot from the bottom of my heart thank them enough for the advice they have given me since I had an accident where I lost my two front crowns. Everyone who works at the practise are so kind and lovely with myself and my 5 year old. Gemma has gone above and beyond to make things welcoming for me, knowing how anxious I am visiting. From feeling like I have no hope, I now have a treatment plan. I am so grateful for this practise and the dentist. I cannot thank them enough for everything! If you are looking for a practise where everyone is kind from the reception to the dentists to the dental nurses who work besides them I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for finally giving me a light at the end of a very dark tunnel and making me feel like I have some hope in being sorted. I am forever grateful

Negative experience: Breaks my heart to have to write this review as iv never wrote a bad one ever. Came to this dentist to have another tooth put on my pallet , she told me I would have to have a tooth out that was perfectly ok and impressions for a new pallet, I didn't agree but thought she was the expert so went along with it. It took her 40 minutes to remove the tooth which was one that helped to hold the pallet in place and left me like that for 2 months having me back every 2 weeks for more impressions. I couldn't ware the pallet or eat as there was nothing to hold it in and struggled to eat. When the ew denture arrived it didn't fit but she forced it in my mouth which hurt and said I would get used to it. The cost was £1300 . I'm now at a different my dentist who are fantastic trying to sort out her mess as all the impressions she did have made the rest of my teeth loose and had to have another 2 out up to now as the pain is unbearable. I'm just so sorry I trusted her. I'm a 50y old lady so beeing like this is awful she made me look a mess.

I needed a lot of work on my teeth due to not being able to get an appointment for all that time they finally accepted us as patients for nhs and had a lot of work done so glad to get myteeth sorted out so glad to finally have another nhs dentist

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. I came here with toothache. I got a filling paid £150 for a white filling however still had toothache. I came back 2 weeks later and the dentist told me to remove the tooth. He did not offer me root canal or my money back for the white filling. I already had another tooth missing in that area and he said it would not affect my eating. That was not the case and I have been unable to eat on that side ever since. I have lived with it for two years. I now have toothache on the other side, they text me to arrange an appointment so I rang up and made an appointment for toothache. I turned up to my appointment and was asked to pay £50 for the check up. I said I was an NHS patient and have help for healthcare costs. The receptionist told me I had been taken off NHS and registered as a private patient and there’s nothing I can do. I have no job so cannot pay. I have toothache and now have no dentist. I was not informed over the phone that I had been taken off the NHS patients and I have waited weeks in pain for this appointment. I am extremely unhappy and now sat outside the dentist with toothache wondering how I am going to cope being left in pain. AVOID at all costs.

Negative experience: If your not getting subsidied care, avoid. Refused to do the requested temp fillings, so I would have to pay £585 to repair two teeth. Wouldnt accept I cant afford that, so are leaving me to buy the stuff off ebay for 30 quid and try and do it myself.

Fantastic experience: Just had my top left wisdom tooth extracted and felt absolutely no pain, after about 5-10 minutes Rami told me it's all done now and I had no idea he had even take it out yet! I didn't believe him until I saw the tooth on the side table, crazy to think I had no idea it was even out because I couldn't feel anything at all! The scale and polish felt weird but that's to be expected. I 100% recommend Mydentist, thank you Rami and the woman who helped I'm sorry I can't recall your name, I only remembered his because it was on the receipt. Thank you both for making me feel comfortable, being so nice, kind and reassuring!

Negative experience: EDIT: They also spelt my surname as Belaney despite me specifying the correct spelling multiple times. My issue is not with the dentist himself. He was great and patient. My issue is that I paid £50 for a consultation and x rays. The consultation did not go well because I was gagging too much and he could not get in my mouth. He then told me I would need to go to hospital for my x rays and pay a fee of £70-90 for them despite them meant to be included in the fee. I'm £50 down and nothing came of the appointment. The dentist could clearly see receding gums and a decaying tooth without needing to look inside my mouth but still nothing was done and no advice given. I spent £50 i dont have just to feel more worried about my teeth and humilated.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant service from this practice from the friendly receptionist to the smiling dental nurse. The dentist explained every part of the procedure making my visits pleasant and stress free. Best dentist and practice I have visited. Would highly recommend. Also send reminders by email of upcoming appointments and also ring to confirm so less chance of this being forgotten.

Negative experience: During the pandemic I was told that the practice was only open for emergencies. I've tried to book an appointment with an NHS dentist only to be told that I can't as I have now been made private and will have to pay £45 for a simple check up. Ellie the receptionist that I spoke to was incredibly rude and condescending. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

Positive experience: I recently visited this dentist and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. They made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my visit. However, I was quite uncomfortable during my visit due to the extreme cold temperature of the building. If you are sensitive to cold temperatures, I would advise you to consider finding another dentist or to bring a hot water bottle. Despite this, I highly recommend this dentist for their great staff and quality of care.

Fantastic experience: I've just moved up here with my wife and 4 kids. We generally see Rami and he is great with the kids especially. I hate the dentist usually and if I need anything doing I dread it. I had a clean and filling on my wisdom tooth (so pretty awkward) with Abi and Rachel today and they were beyond amazing; professional, caring and I didn't feel a thing and i must've been there 30-40 mins. Made me wonder why I've been so bothered all these years. Top top practice and the reception staff are great too. Could not be happier - 6 stars!
