Negative experience: If you think this is a good dentist you haven’t been to a good one. Just had the most painful dental experience of my life here and I’ve had a wisdom tooth out in a developing country so that’s saying something. Giving two stars instead of one because the rest of the practice is good. If I could remember the hygienists name I’d say. Genuinely seemed to enjoy having caused me pain. I would avoid coming here if you can find somewhere else to go. I’ve reported my experience directly to Bupa. Update. Dropping to one star. Thought I’d give them another chance with another hygienist. They booked me back in with Alison Grice the most incompetent dental practitioner I’ve experienced then tried to blame me for not remembering her name from last time. Called me 10 minutes before the appointment to tell me they had made the mistake of booking me back in with her and refused to give me a refund for wasting my time. Absolute circus.
Fantastic experience: Very good practice. Dealt with our emergency with great care and warmth and professionalism. Wisdom tooth extraction was north of £500, which seemed pretty pricey, but is not unusual, it seems.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was VERY nervous about her visit to the Dentist yesterday, and both the Dentist (Sahar Tiztak) and Dental Nurse (sorry, I missed her name) went above and beyond to help her understand the processes and support her during the visit. Both of them remained extremely positive and upbeat and I was very impressed by both the professionalism but also the huge amount of care that they both showed her (and very grateful too!).

Fantastic experience: I actually enjoyed the hygienist experience expecting it to be painful on sensitive teeth but didn’t feel a thing as the hygienist was so gentle. My dentist, Ludmil is the best. I didn’t need an injection for the filling. The receptionist was efficient and friendly. I was not kept waiting and I appreciate the fact that I get advised of my appointment both by text and phone call in advance.

Fantastic experience: Very efficient service on NHS. Polite on reception. Informative at all stages. The dentist and nurse were very nice and made me feel at ease.
Positive experience: All very good, Dentist put in a very good temp filling...very smooth as the jagged bits on my broken tooth had damaged my tongue which was jolly painful! We'll see how the next appointment goes. One thing did cause me grief was the appointment card I was given didn't have the Ross on Wye branch 'phone number on it, which i needed. I would have thought this was pretty essential information.

Fantastic experience: I have just had another positive check up appointment with Dean, my dentist at Bupa Dental Care in Ross on Wye. He has been helping me as I was obsessively cleaning my teeth but not actually achieving an effective dental clean. And the time I spent cleaning was not helping the tooth enamel or my gums. Dean has helped show the way forward for me and over the past couple of years this method has made a huge difference to the health of my teeth and, more importantly my gums. It takes a lot for me to trust a dentist and Dean always puts me at ease and ensures I know what he is going to do. We all have quite a laugh during my appointment. The only downside is that it is a Bupa dentist, so the prices are considerable and I don't believe they have any NHS places at this time. Although they have said they will let us know once this has changed.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Bupa Ross-on-Wye for many years and have always found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. I had a painful tongue problem recently and was given a next day appointment with Julian Zimmerman. I had a much needed check-up and was given some medical advice which has been very useful. I have now signed up for the Bupa Smile Plan and will be booking a hygienist appointment very soon.

Positive experience: Had a very good experience at my check-up with the new dentist Sahar Tiztak and the dental nurse (sorry I forgot her name) yesterday. I felt listened to and not rushed as I have done in the past. Thank you. I have deducted one star as the NHS appointment booking is a bit frustrating for this practive. I was advised to come back for a check-up in 6 months time but cannot actually book that far ahead, so have had to set my own reminder to ring and book again nearer the time.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to this Dentist and I was very impressed. The whole place was fresh and bright and the staff were friendly and helpful. The dentist himself listened to what I asked and requested and responded clearly. He did a good job (removing a broken tooth attached only by the gum) and gave good, clear advice of what to do afterwards. The total cost was actually LESS than I had originally thought it might be. Very pleased all round!

Fantastic experience: Having moved to Ross last year and being quite nervous about dental treatment I spent a bit of time choosing a new dentist. So glad I chose bupa dental care, Dean Blaby is amazing...very friendly, professional and brilliant at his job. I had a filling and an extraction and was really dreading the treatment but it went so much better than I expected. Negative experience: Promise you a greqt smile. Make you sign up to a monthly fee payable for 2 years and still no great smile and I'm told I'm robbing them when paying private! Just want to take your money and do nothing

Positive experience: The hygienist I visited is wonderful. Just a bit disappointed that the appointment that was booked with a promotional offer was cancelled and the following week had to pay full price.

Fantastic experience: Having recently moved to the area, I was a bit anxious about finding doctors and dentists, so I was quite careful in finding a dentist practice that was both local and offered the BUPA instant claim option to reduce the reimbursement hassle. So, based on the reviews and location, I went ahead and signed on to this practice and thankfully, having now had both a checkup and subsequently a filling, I can confirm that this practice definitely lives up to the excellent reviews. The practice is clean and the staff are efficient and friendly. One word of warning - do give yourself a bit of leeway to allow for parking if you’re driving. I haven’t yet had an issue, but given the limited on-road parking outside the practice, I can imagine that, at times, it can get quite busy.
