Fantastic experience: Been attending this practice for many years and always had an excellent service . Can fully recommend.

Fantastic experience: Would 100% recommend, came here for 2 tooth extractions and have a really bad phobia of dentist. Would like to thank Saher Aabed very professional great dentist, very quick and painless.

Negative experience: The worst dentist I’ve ever gone to. They charged me too much and refused to finish my treatment after I complained leaving me without any recommendations for someone who could help me effectively abandoning me in the middle of my treatment. I had no plans to return after my complaint which Kerry knew as I had shared my unhappiness with the treatment during our last talk. I wanted to see my regular dentist to see if she could finish the work but Kerry told me I needed to find an implant specialist if I wanted to get it done elsewhere. I chose to complete it here despite my dissatisfaction with their treatment until my next appointment. After my next visit with the hygienist I was sure I wouldn’t be coming back, I don’t know what Kerry aimed to achieve by refusing to treat me apart from trying to trigger me. Her actions show a total lack of care for her patients. Kerry's refusal to treat me seemed driven by her ego and after overcharging me for my screws, I think she was happy to let me go knowing I had already paid too much for my treatment plan. Kerry shows a high degree of unprofessionalism and I strongly recommend against getting implants from her. The hygienist Cathryn also acted unprofessionally, she made several remarks to me like "getting implants when you don’t have a job” which made me feel like I had to explain how I was paying for my treatment. Given my serious mental health issues it was already very hard for me to come here and the last thing someone in my situation wants is to have to defend themselves. One can infer the implications of that comment, as it suggests a stereotype that ethnic minorities must be involved in something questionable if they are unemployed. I have many knife scars on my face, which makes me think she has already judged me. I was also told that I was "very lucky that Kerry was doing my implants for me" because i wasn’t paying she was doing my treatment for free. I certainly didn’t feel lucky especially as i was going to be left with a result I wasn’t happy with due to her incompetence. The tco Alice also thought she was funny insinuating im a thief. I needed to take sedatives to visit the dentist to complete this process due to the manner in which I was treated by these individuals. It took me a few months after having my screws inserted to muster the confidence to approach another dentist for completion and these guys even made that experience uncomfortable for me. For some reason it took them ages to send my new dentist the information he needed to complete it. This group is highly unethical, I strongly advise against engaging with them. If you value your oral and mental wellbeing, seek assistance elsewhere. Do not repeat the error I made by simply locating the nearest dentist who performs implants and conduct thorough research before you make a decision. Had I seen tayabs review I would have never have come here. I just want to add that I will be going abroad soon to remove her implants as one of the implants is a massive food trap and I still can’t eat comfortably on that side, I literally have to floss it multiple times while I’m eating its that bad and uncomfortable, it’s clear I needed orthodontic treatment before my implants as one of the implant teeth should have been a premolar and it’s a big tooth like a molar as it was a big space and it looks ridiculous. My main concerns was I wanted it to look how my real teeth would have been and it looks nothing like that. I still can’t believe you didn’t tell me i was missing another tooth, I literally gave you free rein to tell me what I needed to do. Both implants are causing me significant pain as well now and it won’t be long before they both fail. I think the fact she even placed my implants before I had my teeth cleaned shows how much thought she put in to my treatment as I definitely had gum disease as this was the first time in my life I was having my teeth cleaned. I have attached a photo to prove I was a patient here as I had to repost the review and they love denying knowing people who’s teeth they have butchered.

Negative experience: If there’s a rating below 1 star, I will gladly give to them. Bunch of useless incompetent staff. I was attended to by a doctor called sarah, first I was prescribed a UV protection which is absolutely disgusting and not effective for any form of protection. Secondly, I was undercharged by this useless dentist and they called me after 9weeks that I underpaid them and they must take the payment same day or else? Issuing me useless threat over their incompetence. And worst of it is them denying offering me services that I refused? This post was edited after their response denying the offering me services. I was charged £60 for UV protection which was a scam. I got better services and even cheaper at Demergency. Modestus is overhyped, So horrible services. Use them at your own risk. Good luck.

Negative experience: Usually good, but if you want something basic like a repeat prescription then forget it. Appointment was cancelled in January by dentist, next one wasn't until March with same dentist. Needless to say I ran out of prescribed toothpaste. Wouldn't prescribe anymore until seen a dentist. Even though they've prescribed a couple of months before without seeing a dentist, when inbetween appointments. They need to decide what their protocol actually is. I've been on the same script for years.

Fantastic experience: Recently I had an awkward tooth extracted it got took out with no problem the dentist and higenist was brilliant. This dentist is very good and all the staff are excellent

Fantastic experience: All on four top jaw implants. Fantastic results, well worth the wait. Several teeth removed, implants placed all with no pain and minimum discomfort.

Fantastic experience: I contacted 111 at 6.30am for an NHS emergency appointment, due to a suspected wisdom tooth infection & severe pain. The 111 operator gave me an appointment at this practice for 8am. When I arrived, 111 hadn't actually booked me in but they still saw me, and were on time with no issues. I think it was George I saw (sorry I was so tired I can barely remember), but he was just so, so lovely and reassuring. Communication was great, he explained everything very clearly throughout. He anesthetised and cleaned the infected area & wrote me a prescription for antibiotics. All in all, I was out within 30 minutes but I didn't feel rushed, I felt reassured and at ease. Like most, I struggle with dental anxiety, but will be now be enquiring for future routine dental care due having such a positive experience, thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I want to express my heartfelt thanks to mydentist at Shiregreen but more specifically to Kerry Phelan and her dental assistants. Kerry has worked a miracle on my teeth and given me a smile I never thought possible. I had sought several different opinions from other dentists but was told my case was too complex until I was referred to Kerry and she gave me hope that she could achieve what I wanted. It may sound dramatic but when you’ve been as conscious about your teeth as I was, not wanting to smile and covering your teeth with your hand to being able to smile with confidence, it is life changing. The whole team have been amazing, kind and supportive, I’ve been in very good hands and am so grateful for my new, natural looking teeth and renewed confidence, I smile at everyone now, I’m so incredibly happy and grateful and it’s all thanks to Kerry and her team.

Fantastic experience: Today I visited my dentist for a tooth extraction with Dr Saher Aabed, and the experience was absolutely unbelievable. I felt no pain from the injection, no discomfort when the procedure started, and the tooth was extracted smoothly without any issues. The whole process took just a few minutes and was completely stress-free. I am truly impressed with the skill and professionalism and would highly recommend Dr Aabed to anyone who is nervous about dental treatment.

Very disappointed, Unprofessional unfair treatment, I have had mine and my wife's appointments last-minute cancellations TWICE in a row, and offered appointments in over a month time. we are having to wait months for dental treatment. Fantastic experience: The best dentist I’ve been to! George has brought back my confidence as I have struggled for a long time with the colour of my teeth due to staining from smoking and caffein. I opted for the nightly whitener and within days I saw a difference. Fantastic experience: I had a really good experience getting my braces with Dr Sarah Wiseman and Meg Somerset. I'm extremely happy with my results and I feel so much better in my smile now thanks to them. Sarah and Meg always made sure to ask if I was okay during any procedures, listened to my concerns about how my teeth were moving and explained things to me really clearly. They were super friendly and understanding. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get braces :)

Negative experience: This dentist was reasonable before Covid, then they let NHS patients lapse without warning you. As others stated, when you call back to join, they are full and only take private bookings. It's been this way for months now. I won't ever try to go back here again.

Negative experience: Just phoned this dentist to enquire about joining them for a check up and the receptionist put me off completely with her attitude over the phone, almost shouting and all in one breath saying, We aren't taking NHS patients on but if your private we charge £75 for a check up! That was enough for me to say no thank you I will try elsewhere with that attitude.

Negative experience: I came to have my top molar extracted Im a very nervous patient and suffer with anxiety, im also autistic and struggle with the dentist My mouth is tiny and was referred to have my tooth out as it was nearly touching my sinus with the nerve It was dr saher aabed who removed the tooth I didn't feel relaxed and I felt that he was getting frustrated with me not opening wide when I struggle with my small mouth He kept saying you know it will make noises and it will be uncomfortable and felt like he was tutting under his breath at me I kept making noises as I was scared and over sensory he kept stopping and saying morgan you will hear the cracking but abruptly The nurse with him was also very quiet and more concerned about me not smoking for 24hours to 48 hours when im sat shaking He went down with force and pulled the nerves out separately and didn't seem to care about my nerve been so close I left feeling butchered and shaking Its still not healed and im still so bruised and swollen I also cant smell from one of my nostrils and my ears have been affected In normal situations I wouldn't have allowed to be spoken to the way I was but I was nervous I've had time to reflect so im leaving this review and possibly taking it further.

Negative experience: That old women on reception is so rude, she needs to learn how to speak to people.

Negative experience: Do not go to these people, a woman called didi was my dentist, one day she said to me that she's going to go straight in without any numbing agent to give me fillings, was in excruciating pain for a couple of weeks after so bad so and so nervous on my next visit after that I heavily sedated myself incase she did that again. Ended up not going to the dentist for two years after as she caused me such bad anxiety. Will be looking into wether I might be able to speak to a solicitor about what she did .

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience today in the hands of a skilled team. Shaheer is exceptional in his approach and was ably assisted. The tricky root canal treatment was carried out skilfully with ongoing explanation and a plan for follow-up treatment. After the process, Kirsty, in her role as treatment co-ordunator contacted my own dentist and made the required appointments moving forward. She also called me to confirm. Fantastic service ! Fantastic experience: I recently had some composite bonding done by Paula Calvo Bernad, who I have visited for 7+ years and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The entire experience was professional, comfortable and exceeded my expectations especially having cosmetic work done to my front teeth. Paula takes her time to understand what you want and gives you complete confidence in the work she is carrying out, she has meticulous attention to detail and made a noticeably natural difference in my smile. Fantastic experience: I am terrified of Dentists, petrified, I try to avoid them at all costs. But after living for so long in pain I decided enough was enough and needed to change. I came to MyDentist still so nervous and worried about what would happen, but the service has been absolutely fantastic. From having a full check up to X-rays everything has been spot on. Yesterday I came to MyDentist for two teeth extractions. I was super nervous, but my dentist Sarah Wiseman and assistant Hannah Booth made me feel so at ease. Sarah talked me through every part of the procedure, asking me if I needed a break, checking to see if there were enough anesthetic before continuing, making the sure the bleeding stopped afterwards. Hannah took the time to sit by my side and give me words of encouragement and reminded me to keep breathing. And because of that I decided to have the two teeth out yesterday instead of two separate appointments. These ladies are absolutely incredible and I can't praise them enough, I felt so comfortable in their presence and I couldn't be happier. If anyone ever needs a dentist, please use MyDentist, I promise they do what they can to make you feel comfortable!

Fantastic experience: Dr Shaheer and Hannah Booth were amazing. They treated me with nothing but kindness and compassion - talked me through each step of the procedure and helped me out where they could. Would 100000% recommend to see these two if you need a root canal, never had a more thorough root canal in my life - they even removed a bit of instrument which was left by a previous root canal.

Yes, some private treatment appears expensive, but no more expensive than private treatment anywhere else in the country and the environment, equipment and service is top notch

As I am affected by fibromyalgia, my jaw is impacted by this, which Dr George was thoughtful with, as he gave me rest periods. Negative experience: I had my teeth filling which is second time and I paid again second time and the doctors told me that it will take 6 to 9 months to feel equal your teeth or healing. Now I feel better and then I went to India. I came back. They said you have to pay again for the examination fees £60. This is ridiculous. Why should I pay Which I already paid? they just want money money.

Fantastic experience: Dr Shaheer Aasim was amazing when it came to my Root Canal Treatment. All the way through, he explained what he was doing and he often checked up on me to ensure I was comfortable. The service was great. I would hight recommend him to everybody if they need to see an Endodontist. Such a lovely man.

Fantastic experience: I have recently had three implants with Kerry and the team. From the first meeting with her I was immediately put at ease about my concerns and fears, I was talked through every step of the process and given many opportunities to ask questions. Whilst having my treatments I was looked after and given lots of breaks when needed. Since finishing my treatment I have been so pleased with the results I have decided to have a further four implants with Kerry.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 genuinely lifechanging. Like many I have had trouble getting a NHS dental appointment when needing one and decided to bite the bullet and go for private treatment After a number of appointments with Dr Raggi Munjal and his assistant Cassandra, I now have essentially a new set of teeth (Front and back top and some bottom) Which has literally been lifechanging in more than one way. Of course there's the added confidence of having what are essentially now perfect teeth (well beyond what I or anyone i have showed thought was even possible) but I am now totally free of any pain which was at times debilitating and a constant pain that i had gotten used to. It affected my eating and also sleeping more than I realized. Thankfully that is all a thing of the past now and I am so glad to be out of pain. Money well spent, ontop of that I now have a perfect set of teeth which is honestly mind-blowing how perfect he has sculpted the little resin stuff. Evetime I am alone with a mirror I take a look at them! Needless to say i'm smiling a lot more and really look forward to seeing Dr Raggi again to finish the work. When I have had my canine implant done I will post pictures of course. For anyone worrying about the cost of going private, my finance (which i'm surprised I was approved for being Self Employed) for 4.5k comes out at around £110 a month which is absolutely worth it! Couldn't be happier with my treatment and the care provided. I was here to have my first ever extraction (wisdom tooth) on 9/9/23 @11:45, The practice is clean with welcoming friendly staff, both on reception and assisting the Dentist, he himself was the most Amazing dentist I've ever met, polite patient and explained everything calmly, I was very nervous, he completely numbed the area and made light work of removing my tooth, explaining the noises along the way, the whole thing took less than 10 minutes, I was just astonished! Thank you for taking great care of me!

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with with Dr Saher Aabed at 12:30 on Saturday 19/08/2023. I would like to say this has been the best dental experience I have ever had. Never knew that tooth extraction can be so pain free with no swelling or bruising. I wish I had been referred there in the first place because the last 3 years have been a dental nightmare for me. .

Fantastic experience: Had tooth surgery appointment with Dr Aabed and can't thank them enough. It wasn't a straight forward procedure, everything was clearly explained as the anesthetic kicked in and it was over in seconds. I arrived way too early as I misjudged Sat am traffic but the receptionist let me sit in the waiting area, rather than be in the summery showers.

Fantastic experience: As an extremely nervous patient I cannot thank my dentist Ian Shaw enough, from the first time I went he has always explained everything to me and always makes me feel at ease.

Negative experience: Although I have Positve experience with my dentist on London Road, I have a very negative experience with my dentist in Burngreave and Shiregreen. 6At both dentist when I have tried to get private work done on a pay monthly scheme I have been denied the opportunity. I was given the impression that both dentist did not trust I would pay up even though I have a very good credit score and don't have problems getting credit from any where else. Also when I visited shiregreen for a private consultation they offered people who came in before me a drink and people who came in after me a drink but they never offered me one I got the distinct feeling that I was not welcome there.When they took over the dental surgery I used to attend in Burngreave I found myself and my kids suddenly without a dentist,no more appointments came through for us. Recently my dentist on London Road who is absolutely fantastic sent me to shiregreen branch for treatment but I found I could not attend as due to past experience I don't trust them to put the best effort and Care into my teeth.

Negative experience: Had a really bad experience with this practice. There have been several things over the years. I once said to one of their dentists that I've kind of lost my faith in dentists after recommendations they suggested turned out to not be needed. More recently, they broke my bridge recklessly by trying to get it out with a drill. Then they supplied badly fitting dentures x 4. So much so, after no alternatives were suggested, I just gave up and made do. I have definitely lost faith in this practice. I went in with a full set of teeth, albeit some on a bridge, and now I have six missing. The problem is that dentists are hard to find on the NHS. I had some private work done when I gave up on their NHS pallets, and these were as bad. I definitely wouldn't pay for private work here. If you have money and can afford to pay. Shop around. If you're NHS, you can't. I appreciate that many people have had good treatment, but I haven't. The best way to judge a company is how they react to bad service and how they remedy any issues. I've complained and will edit this review after I have a decision from them. Turnaround time for complaints is 12 months, so there must be a backlog. To the Practice, if you need to find my details, my real name is M Ellis. Update. Complaints are not dealt with in a professional way. When logging an issue. Management staff and Patient Support just parrot what the person you are complaining about says and then close the complaint down. There's no investigation, no impartiality or consideration of the patient.

Fantastic experience: Adi the hygienist was amazing with my son, he took time to explain the importance of brushing his teeth twice a day and explained in detail every step of the procedure. Knowing my son was a bit nervous he kept checking in with him to see if he was OK. He made my son feel at ease by taking the time to have an interest in school ect and making light jokes. When we left my son also commented on how much he liked Adi. Just wanted to leave a review so hopefully Adi sees the review and knows what an amazing dental experience he gave my son. Can't thank you enough Adi.

Fantastic experience: I cannot praise Ali Hyder and his colleagues enough!! Ali is a brilliant dentist, very friendly, caring and professional and everyone at the practice is extremely helpful and friendly also! I would recommend this practice to anyone! Just one complaint, my husband was refused treatment and taken off the list after Covid without being contacted and would really like to rejoin if possible!!

Negative experience: Absolute joke of a practice. Refuse to see you when you have an emergency if you don't get there within 5 minutes of the call, your classed as refusing care. Apparently been in Leeds for work and needing time to do the journey is not acceptable!

Positive experience: Was disappointed with the service I received on 10 may. My app was for 1.20 and did not get seen until 20 minutes after my time. Not that bad. However I asked for a scrape and polish after my check up. Was told at the end my dentist did not have the time as her next app had been waiting 5 mins.

Fantastic experience: cant say how impressed i was with how amazing the dentist was...i had a post removed from inside my gum.absolutley no pain full procedure about 5 minutes...explained what he intended to do and made sure i was at ease through out process...i will be calling on monday to see if i can change my dental pracise to this one...thanks

Fantastic experience: i attended needing a check up and a filling replacing on my front tooth , saw Sarah Wiseman it was the first time i had seen her for my dental treatment and couldn't be more satisfied. she was extremely thorough, listening to me and taking x'rays before replacing my filling . Negative experience: I called this morning to ask if I can register my kids well the Receptionist was so Rude & Sarcastic I even told her the problem my son is having instead of any advice at all she was so sarcastic unbelievable

Fantastic experience: Was panicking before I went because of everything with covid situation but when I got there everything was great, reception women were very friendly and helpful, wasn't waiting more than 3mins in waiting room, where I was alone. The dentist and assistant were brilliant, put me at ease, explained what was to be done with me, did work and also advised aftercare. I would highly recommend this dentist, very clean, friendly staff and very safe
