Fantastic experience: I visited Landmark Dental Surgery for emergency treatment after a filling broke, leaving a very sharp edge on my tooth that was causing intense discomfort. The receptionist was brilliant and managed to book me in the very next day for an emergency appointment, which I really appreciated. Raj was fantastic, he immediately put me at ease and clearly explained everything he was doing while carrying out the temporary remedial work. The dental assistant was also extremely professional and efficient, and together they made the whole experience smooth and reassuring. Raj then arranged for me to return a few days later to complete the permanent repair, which was seamless and stress-free. Very reasonable pricing, a spotless surgery, and genuinely caring service throughout. I’m extremely grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I joined this practice a couple of years ago with Raj and we cannot praise him and his dental team highly enough. The kindness and courtesy we receive each visit plus the professionalism and excellent treatment is by far the best we have ever experienced. I have a neck/back problem and as soon as I arrive a cushion is given to me for my neck - I am always made comfortable, with continued concern for my wellbeing throughout the time I'm in the chair and this is such a huge bonus. The dental assistants and hygienist Jodie are wonderful and the reception staff polite and friendly. Five stars aren't enough for this great practice!

Fantastic experience: I have been to see Raj on two occasions when I had issues that my NHS dentist couldn’t easily deal with. I had root canal treatment with Raj which I had never experienced before. Although fairly lengthy I was kept comfortable throughout by Raj. I sometimes have issues with nausea/anxiety during dental treatment but Raj is very understanding and helped me through it. He saved the tooth and it is absolutely fine a few years later, well worth doing. Recently I called Raj as I have been suffering for weeks with wisdom tooth pain. My NHS dentist didn’t want to go ahead due to nausea I felt on first attempt. I spoke to the Landmark receptionist who was very efficient, and after receipt of the x-ray booked me in two days after the first attempt. I immediately felt I could get through it with Raj’s approach. My NHS dentist had been due to refer me for sedation and this was worsening my anxiety. Sedation wasn’t necessary at all - just a better administration of anaesthetic and a reassuring approach. I couldn’t recommend Landmark and Raj highly enough.

Fantastic experience: A friend highly recommended I should visit Landmark Dental (Apsley) – and I am so glad that I did. At the time, my teeth were in a shocking state! At Landmark I had superb advice and marvellous treatment from Amit, who specialises in dental restoration. Amit offered a detailed plan to put things right and took the trouble to explain the many options with great patience, helping me to make good choices. The treatment involving implants and new dental plates was conducted calmly and with great professional skill by Amit - with a minimum of discomfort. So now, after the treatment, instead of being almost toothless I have a full set of absolutely natural looking teeth allowing me to eat anything; a brilliant result ! Amit was friendly and patient throughout- and the other members of this highly skilled team at Landmark are also remarkably cheerful and friendly. I would strongly recommend Landmark Dental to anyone. You will receive top class dental treatment there and actually enjoy your visits to the dentist..

I initially had an appointment with Dr Raj where he identified issues with my gums and referred me for periodontal treatment. After a course of this treatment the difference in my gums has been amazing- I couldn’t have had a better result. The team at landmark dental have been nothing but kind and accommodations to me. In between the periodontal treatment I also had hygienist appointments with Jodie who has been fab with the maintenance side of things. Today I also went in for a wisdom tooth removal and despite being a suuuuper nervous patient the team sat with me and reassured me even when I took a bit of a turn. Fantastic experience: I have always hated my teeth and never smiled in photographs, until this week. Six months of work and my sad battered crowns and bridges are now replaced by gleaming natural looking implants. Amit is a genius. I am not a relaxed dental patient to put it mildly, but have felt safe and reassured at Landmark Dental Apsley from my first appointment. Fantastic experience: This dentist came recommended to me and I would also recommend. I had a filling replacement. It was painless and very quick (about 40 mins in total.) Amit explained every step along the way. The replacement was so seamless, I could not tell the difference from my real tooth.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist Pam was fantastic for three reasons: 1) she as able to answer all my detailed questions on the Guided Biofilm Therapy (as it had been carried out on her previously) 2) she was able to rejig the diary and fit me in for a same day hygienist appointment 3) she emailed me directions and parking suggestions. The hygienist Jodie was very thorough and gentle. I have had 2 treatments with her already and have noticed a definite improvement in my gums. Jodie showed me how to effectively floss too and what to use to do so.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Amit for 3 dental implants. Two have been done and I have one to go. He is very gentle, kind and explains the process in a clear and calm manner. If you're feeling nervous Amit will totally put you at ease. 100% recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I received a re-root canal on the molar, previously root canal treated when after 12 years started getting returning infections. Found Landmark Dental on Google, as it was one of my closest and the competency of the clinic seemed high. Was presented with detailed treatment plan, which was fulfilled 100%, all staff was kind, friendly and competent. Put me at ease, as I was nervous about the treatment. Dr. Raj provided an excellent service, organising extra prescription at short notice and kept checking on me numerous times, to ensure that everything was OK. All roots were filled. I am pain free and waiting for the last check before the crown can be replaced. Would highly recommend this clinic if you require a root canal.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency involving a cracked tooth which was getting infected and hurting bad. I phoned the evening emergency line and was given care and attention from the start, getting the option to book an earlier shorter emergency appointment to get the tooth checked, a treatment plan created and antibiotics prescribed to resolve the inflammation and pain. Raj gave me a good understanding of the condition of my tooth, showing me the scans and describing the best option for now as well as options for the future. I am grateful that a tooth which another dentist deemed only worth extracting and replacing with an implant, Raj was confident in performing a root canal on and building the tooth back up with the use of composite. The procedure went smoothly, Raj worked with care and precision, it really felt that he did a thorough job ensuring the root is disinfected and sealed, regularly checking in and informing me of each stage of the process; the hygienist supported him very efficiently. I was numbed during the procedure, and only felt some pain at one stage (nothing worse than what the tooth gave me in the first place and so worth it to get this fixed!). My recovery was quick, I didn’t need to take pain relief beyond the first dose following the procedure. A week later, Raj kindly invited me in same day in response to my email, to get the composite filed down slightly to make for a more comfortable bite, understanding that when numb following the procedure, it would be hard for me to know what's comfortable. Thank you, Raj, for preserving my tooth for longer and restoring its appearance and for your care, kindness and honesty throughout!

Fantastic experience: I have been with Landmark Dental for many years now and have been very happy with the friendly and caring service they provide. Last year, I needed a root canal treatment under one end of a bridge I have had for over 20 years. It was ver painless and successful. But as I had already had a root canal carried out years earlier under the other end, they advised me that the bridge support would no longer be substantial enough. As I have never really been that comfortable with a bridge, I followed their advice and went for two implants with a crown either side. Amit was very meticulous with the work and explained what he was doing at every stage of the several treatments. The procedures were painless, though long at times and Amit went out of his way to fit me in after hours on a couple of occasions to make tiny adjustments to give me a perfect fit and bite, even with the temporary bridge. The final result is perfect and comfortable like they are my own teeth again, and match completely the rest of my smile. I am very glad I chose to proceed with Amit. His work and care are of the highest standard and Landmark have all the very latest in scanning and dental equipment. I highly recommend Amit and Raj and all the staff at Landmark for their professional and friendly care and quality of their work. Robert

Fantastic experience: New EMS airflow My husband had an appointment with Ionie the hygienist last night and she used the new EMS airflow machine. He said “wow what an experience .If you’re a bit nervous of visiting the hygienist (luckily I’m not) this machine is out of this world. No more feeling like they are down to the nerve when using the cold water jet ,it was tepid. The whole experience was probably the best I’ve had and lonie was very personable and professional.”

Fantastic experience: Amit is an excellent dentist with a friendly and professional manner. Jodie is also a first rate hygienist and today I experienced the EMS Airflow for the first time to clean my teeth - normally they are a little sensitive during the cleaning but this was a much gentler experience.

Fantastic experience: We moved to a local practice because of convenience and have been super impressed with the professionalism here. There's a charm about the team that puts you at ease. Our hygienist appointment was something of a surprise. There is a new machine that they have installed called an EMS Airflow (read about it!) which makes the hygienist element almost... enjoyable. No sharp pain or twitches. Utterly bizarre so for those that are nervous about going to the dentist, try Landmark Dental. They're very good.

Fantastic experience: I recently saw Jodie the hygienist at Landmark, and she suggested using a new treatment method based on EMS Airflow. In the past I have found there is usually some mild discomfort with dental cleaning, but I didn’t experience any problems with this new treatment. I was also surprised to see that my teeth appeared a lot whiter and very smooth against my tongue. I will definitely use this service in the future, and I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Landmark for over 10 years now, and in my opinion, the current staff are the best that’s been there in that time. Raj is a very engaging dentist, always ready to answer any questions enthusiastically. Jodie the Hygienist is excellent and makes cleaning a far smoother experience! Using the new Airflow tool on my last visit, I couldn’t even feel it being done. No pain, unlike the other tool (everyone hates). Very happy with Landmark and will continue to use them into the future.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Landmark dental for a few years, they have been excellent. I usually see Raj but as a family we've also seen Amit. They are both fantastic dentists and more importantly really lovely people. Last hygiene visit I saw Jodie and had the EMS airflow. This showed me all the places I was missing when brushing, my teeth felt amazing and clean and best of all, no pain or discomfort. I would definitely recommend this treatment!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Amit, Raj, Rohini and the team at Landmark Dental for the last two years and I am SO happy with the work they have done for me. From my first consultation for a dental implant with Amit, I could tell he was genuine and passionate about his work and was also extremely knowledgeable and reassuring. Amit created a very well thought-out treatment plan, offered options along the way, and has had really great advice for general dental care. I couldn't rate his work high enough. I also decided to straighten my teeth before getting an implant. Rohini did a superb job of talking me through all the different options and how each would work. Rohini came up with a bespoke plan and managed to straighten my teeth perfectly in a short amount of time with ceramic braces. Rohini is friendly, informative and a fantastic Orthodontist, I would recommend her to anyone wanting to achieve a perfect smile. I have also had an excellent experience with Raj, who once again was super friendly and took the time to talk me through plans to remove my wisdom teeth and put me at ease through out the treatment. Having high anxiety around these procedures, I am so grateful for the way Raj was able to make me feel comfortable and at ease. Coming from someone who hated going to the dentist and would put off appointments for as long as possible, I now actually look forward to my appointments. Fantastic experience: I was a little nervous about having root canal treatment as had heard scary stories about the procedure, but would like to reassure similarly nervous patients that I had an (almost) enjoyable experience at Landmark. Raj and his dental nurse, Kerry, make a great team, providing a relaxed environment (radio in the background, banter between them) for the patient. Raj explains what he is doing as he goes along and encourages his patient that they are doing well. I was able to take breaks from having my mouth wide open, so it wasn't too uncomfortable. The big thing was - there was absolutely NO PAIN AT ALL. I would heartily recommend Landmark and wouldn't have any anxiety about having root canal treatment again.

Fantastic experience: I had an infection of a previously treated tooth - the old root canal treatment had not reached the end of the root canal (it had been done long ago in London). Raj explained thoroughly what was going on with my tooth and the possible treatments. I could trust Raj to treat my tooth as he is a root canal treatment specialist, and I was very happy with his approach, his professionalism and genteelness. He was open and realistic to explain what the odds were for a successful re-root canal treatment. He, indeed, is an expert on root canal treatments and I am pleased with the result. It's not only Raj who makes Landmark Dental an outstanding dental practice; he has a friendly and helpful team to support him. Landmark Dental could possibly be the best dental practice I have been to as it has a very friendly assistant, a very skilful hygienist and very friendly and efficient receptionists. (Conversely, I have been to dental practices with brilliant dentists who were not supported well by other members.) I am pleased to have found Landmark and thank you all for your friendly and professional services.

Fantastic experience: I can safely say that there is probably no one more terrified of the dentist than me. After a lot of research and looking around for a good local dentist, I decided to bite the bullet and I booked an appointment with Amit at Landmark for which I knew was going to be the beginning of a long road to getting my teeth fixed. On the first visit, I knew i was going to need an extraction and I was completely honest and upfront about my fears of the dentist. Basically, I explained that I'm not a big fan of dental pain and in return Amit and his assistant explained how every step of the procedure would be carried out. This made me feel at ease with the initial anesthetic injections which really were painless.... No, really painless, no watery eyes or strange feelings in your nostrils! The rest of the procedure went very smoothly and at the end I felt that I was really being listened to. I'm sure like all nervous patients, I had plenty of questions to ask, there was loads of opportunities to ask and i never felt rushed. I'm now a lot more comfortable about my planned visits and I can truly say that I have been pleasantly surprised that a dentist's chair is no longer a place of fear and pain for me. I now feel that I can fully trust what my dentist is telling me about what work needs to be done in my mouth. In the past, it has always felt that every visit had to result in many unnecessary fillings and root canal treatments. My visit was originally booked in for an extraction and that's exactly what happened. If more work is required then I will work with Amit on these in the coming months. I know this is a long review, but I feel that anyone who is terrified of dentists as much as me should try Landmark. I have only had two visits with a few more due in the coming weeks and months, but so far, so good - I definitely have no complaints! I hardly write any reviews for anything, but I can honestly say that I would highly recommend this practice. Just be honest about your fears on your first visit and spend time talking to your dentist who in my experience has been a very good listener. I also have to pass on my thanks to Pam on reception who initially encouraged me to come along to my first appointment. I'm actually now looking forward to my next visit and if Amit causes me any pain then i will be back to amend this review :-)

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about this dental practice. I've just completed a lengthy treatment and, although I can be a nervous dental patient, I have to say I kind of enjoyed it and actually looked forward to my appointments!!!! Mainly because Amit was so highly skilled and supportive when he treated me and the rest of the team are the same. Very supportive, caring and professional. I've never laughed so much whilst visiting the dentist. Having now moved to Devon, I will miss my dental appointments with these lovely guys and gals. Never thought I'd say that about a dentist, but they are fantastic!

Fantastic experience: I went to Landmark for 2 dental implants which are now fitted and all done. I have been very happy with the service, Amit and his team are so kind and friendly, they put me at ease with every visit. Amit explained everything to me in as much detail as I wanted so I felt in very safe and gentle hands. Fantastic experience: I’m a very nervous patient due to bad experiences in the past, I recently had an abscess so knew I needed emergency dental care. I didn’t have a dentist so a friend recommended me to Landmark and I’m so pleased, the care has been incredible from the first appointment through to two extractions and aftercare, I have a third upcoming and for the first time in 60+ years I’m not anxious about dental treatment. They’re all fantastic and very friendly people, I can’t give them enough praise, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Raj and his team provide an excellent service and are not only very professional but also very good at reassuring and putting even the most nervous of patients (like me!) at ease. Doctor Raj is a top expert in root canal interventions and works with his patients to set out a well rounded care plan tailored to each one's needs. He is always available to answer questions and explain in detail the care plan. I received high-quality service and had a fantastic overall experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of landmark for a number of years and have had positive experiences in all respects. I have previously been a very nervous dental patient however with landmark this is no longer an issue due to their chair side manner which is incredibly friendly and relaxing as a result my nervousness has disappeared. Due to various reasons I recently decided to have some implant surgery albeit I was very apprehensive about what I thought was a very invasive procedure ! I needn’t have worried I can honestly say the whole procedure from start to finish was pain free and carried out to the highest professional standards. I have on occasion seen different dentists within the practice and they all provide the same professional and highest quality of service. All staff I have found to be very friendly and reassuring. I wouldn’t go anywhere else !

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting the practice for over 6 months having fillings, root canal treatments and even surgical wisdom tooth removals done. I used to be frightened going to the dentist before (hence the need of above mentioned precedures…….), but thanks to Dr Raj and the rest of the Team, my being scared reduced to a healthy kind of nervousness before my appointments, and that is a huge thing for me! I would definitely recommend this place, everyone is very professional and friendly, always trying to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. They would even check on you days after your visit to see how you are doing, truly great staff! 5 stars from me.

Fantastic experience: I had been very reluctant to replace a molar I had lost a few years ago, mainly due to my fear of the process involved. I was then recommended Amit at Landmark dental surgery. Amit put me at ease from my first appointment, explaining the procedures and constantly checking I was ok throughout the process. I now have my new molar fitted and am so pleased and feel totally confident of Amit’s skilful work.
