Fantastic experience: Really professional and lovely place, i’ll definitely come back!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had nothing but brilliant treatment from Dr Stephen and the team. I’ve been with them about a year and a half and have always received great care. I’ve wanted to whiten my teeth for a while, and decided this was the safest option as I’ve heard bad things about sensitivity from whitening strips, etc. I couldn’t be happier with the results and all the advice and support I’ve had from Eastgate Dental along the way. Highly recommend for anyone interested in general dentistry or whitening.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Eastgate Dental & Cosmetic Centre enough. The facility is clean, tidy but also welcoming. The team are fantastic and do a great job of looking after my 4 year old son’s teeth. Steven’s gentle approach has won my son over and his confidence has grown with every visit. Steven even took the time to check in when we came in for an emergency appointment. My son now says on the car journey home “Steven is the best dentist ever”. The rest of the team are great too, they are responsive to enquiries and just generally deliver a high quality service all round to our family. Thank you Eastgate Dental and Cosmetic Centre!

Fantastic experience: I switched to Eastgate Dental Practice earlier this year after not being satisfied with my Dentist at the time and it has easily been the best decision I could’ve made - dental visits for me were always a an uncomfortable experience but after many visits for some ongoing work (extraction, hygenist visits, fillings, composite bonding and whitening), I’m both much happier with my teeth/smile and no longer mind going to the dentist. The team have been wonderful and are always friendly, Simon always has a chat when I arrive, Peggy’s always friendly on reception and Steven takes his time to explain procedures/options and ensure I’m comfortable with everything. Equally, Carriann’s always fantastic with the hygienist appointments. I couldn’t ask for any more from a dental practice and will continue to visit when needs-be/recommend them to anybody looking to switch.

Fantastic experience: I needed a very old NHS crown on my front teeth replacing due to the black metal showing through from gum recession/wear and tear. I was nervous about being a fully private dental patient. I decided to visit Eastgate Dental Practise for an initial consultation based off of their existing reviews. I am SO glad I did. From the first appointment I felt assured and confident I was making the right choice. The practice itself is so lovely and clean and welcoming. The reception - Peggy & Simon - are lovely. I felt Dr Steven Ho fully understood what I was looking for, and they provided me a full breakdown of what I should expect, and kindly provided a quote that included all maximum possible treatments I was looking at to ensure I could plan my finances accordingly. I did not feel like I was being upsold on any additional or non-required treatments. Dr Steven Ho took the time to repair a prior root canal that had been poorly done at another practice, and was able to confirm that I did not need any additional work on the other prior done root canal so this lessened my total treatment bill - I feel this highlights that this practice is honest and has patient interests at heart. I have a great fear of needles, however Dr Ho was incredibly kind and took the time to ensure my comfort alongside Laura. I had a hygiene appointment with Carriann of which was far more indepth than the one I had had previously at another practice for the same price. I am SO happy with my new crown and feel confident having my photo taken and talking to people again. Would 100% recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a chipped and broken tooth which the NHS advised could only be removed. However, Dr Ho at Eastgate Dental Centre was able to save it. He recommended root canal treatment, and my tooth was successfully restored within three visits. The staff were professional and friendly throughout. Fantastic experience: Booked here for a hygienist appointment as the last one I had at my regular dentists was not a pleasant experience, however here was completely different - not painful at all, very thorough, Carriann and Najma were so friendly, welcoming and professional. Not only is he always super friendly which puts my nerves at ease, but his work is fantastic. I’ve had root treatment and a crown as well as switched all my metal fillings to white ones - you’d never know those teeth were filled now! Fantastic experience: I left my previous dental practice, NHS, as I felt that I wasn’t getting a good service and had had a bad experience which has left me very nervous of dentists. I chose Eastgate Dental Practice because it looked interesting on its website, it was very clear on their costings and the description of the practice made it sound nice. it’s a very small practice, but that is a good thing. I made an appointment and had to have done treatment done. I am a nervous patient and I have to say Dentist Steven Ho was very patient and calm and I felt very well looked after. He explained the treatment I would need and I felt I could ask questions. The practice manager Simon Ho was very patient with me when I changed the appointment and was very clear about the pricing and was a friendly face in the practice. The practice has ample car parking and seems to be open quite a lot. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a calm, respectful dental practice.

Fantastic experience: We recently moved to Bristol and I've been looking for a dentist for a while so finding Eastgate Dental & Cosmetic Centre has been great! This is a new family run dental practise and we had a very warm welcome from Simon, the practice manager on reception. All the staff are professional and friendly and the new patient examination with Steven the dentist was very thorough with time spent explaining the Xrays and discussing any potential issues. I also had a hygienist appointment with Carriann who took time to listen to my concerns and offer solutions - there was no pain or discomfort and I would say this one of the best hygienist appointments I've ever had! The practise is located at Eastgate Retail Park which seems a bit odd at first but is actually really handy, we walked there but could just as easily have cycled and it would also be easy to drive (plenty of free parking) or get a bus. An added bonus was stocking up on ingredients in the Chinese supermarket downstairs and popping in to IKEA! Both myself and one of my sons are now registered and the rest of the family are going to register too!

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with the ear wax removal service for my 5yo son. His left ear was completely blocked by two pieces of wax the size of small beans, but the therapist was so nice and gentle throughout the process. She used suction, and the whole procedure took only about 5 minutes. My son was comfortable the entire time, and it was all done quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Came here after the NHS caused me immense pain that they wouldn’t fix. What I was told would be a tooth extraction or a root canal with a 20% chance of saving the tooth ended as a filling due to the tremendous work of Dr Steven Ho. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating of my autism. Rooms were all very tidy and had great facilities. Appointments were booked very quickly. As someone with a fear of the dentist this dentist settled my anxiety so well. 10/10 would recommend
