Fantastic experience: After years of painful experiences that put me off for 7 years visiting a dentist I can honestly say that Tom and his assistant Dani have restored my faith in going to the dentist. I had a wisdom extraction today as well as a large filling, It was completely pain free. Tom has such a gentle manner explaining everything as he went along. I never felt rushed when I asked questions and totally at ease, despite my initial shaking. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice especially if you’re a nervous patient. I will be visiting for my check up every 6 months now without fear of going back.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using Bupa Dental Care Lymington for in excess of 10 years now and I would totally recommend this dental practice to anyone thinking about changing to a very modern practice. On arrival you are greeted by a very welcoming reception team who are very professional and caring. The practice is very modern in looks, the team there have a very modern approach to dentistry and have helped me no end get my oral hygiene back to where it should be. Tom and his team are absolutely brilliant especially for those people who aren’t fond of going to the dentist. The hygienist I see, Gill, is very professional and caring too. Fantastic experience: What a fabulous experience at Lymington bupa dental practice I have had today . I am a very nervous patient and have been dreading my visit all week . I booked my appointment by telephone. I was greeted by a lovely lady on the reception who reassured me that I would be okay as Tom has such a lovely manner which I was to find out later. I usually have to have my partner coming into the dentist room with me But I didn’t feel the need as I was greeted so kindly and the atmosphere in the reception felt calm with the presence of the two Lovely receptionist The dental nurse who came to collect me was also very Softly spoken and made me feel at ease instantly. I was led into the room when I was to meet by the lovely dentist Tom. Tom began to talk to me asking me how I felt and what was worrying me . Tom began to explain the procedures for my check up with his gentle manner and soft approach I began to relax like I have never done In over 20 years of visiting a dentist. Tom and his lovely assistant proceeded with the examination continuously asking if I was okay and if it was okay to do certain things, I felt really safe and cared for. Tom explained everything to me in fine Detail showing me the x-ray Results and explaining to me how to look after my teeth at home. I can’t believe How different I feel about visiting The dentist since I have met Tom and his lovely team. I wanted to give them all a big hug, but I’m not sure if that would’ve been appropriate. Tom is a true professional who made me feel like an individual who needed extra care and not just a number . Thank you so much .

Fantastic experience: Visited today for a hygienist appointment with Gill Cox. I’ve been going regularly for nearly 4 years and she has really transformed my teeth and gums. She’s very informative and knowledgeable on all things, oral hygiene. Each appointment, begins with a thorough examination and advice on care in between appointments She is just such a lovely person and makes you so welcome and relaxed. Fantastic experience: This was my first visit…feeling very nervous! From the time I walked in , meeting Dani the receptionist, I felt comfortable and relaxed. Indy performed a very thorough first check up, including X-rays and scans. Beth was her very capable assistant . Indy then discussed my further treatment, giving me several options, but not pressuring me in any way. I came away feeling I had made a good decision with my choice of dental care. Fantastic experience: Broke a tooth on sunday. Dentist got me an appointment Tuesday pm. Tuesday am got a call from dentist Tom to gain more detail on tooth and gave 3 options on repair; surprised and impressed about the call. In dentist chair, all clearly explained. Fantastic experience: On entering Bupa Dental Care in lymington i found the reception area lovely and clean,very polite and professional receptionists,my first visit was very impressive,Dr Tom Miller talked me through my treatment that I was going to have done and the price quoted would not change,i started my first treatment there and then,Dr Tom Miller was very professional and made me feel at ease from start to finish and there was no pain at all,I returned 2 weeks later for my dentistry work to be done and have my new dentures fitted,once again everything was completed to an excellent standard,I was made to feel very comfortable on my third visit to make sure ever everything was in good order and no problems had arisen and also meet Sophie and Danielle who were assisting at the time. An excellent practice in the heart of lymington.I would highly recommend this dentist and the impeccable service I have been receiving throughout. Well done everyone.

Fantastic experience: Like a lot of people, the dentist and hygienist are not my favourite people but I have to say Gill and Beth my hygienists are fabulous. They put me at ease the minute I walk into the room. They take time to ask how I'm doing. They are very gentle and calming and explain everything that is happening and always allow me time to take a breath when I need to, which is important to me as I'm quite nervous. I don't ever feel rushed. The facilities are excellent. Spotlessly clean and modern. Reception staff always do their best to get the best days and times for me to see the Hygienist and Dentist on the same day rather than having to make 2 journeys. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Usual location - Dentist: 'tooth needs removing'. Me: Very stressed. Appt. booked. Speedy return due to pain, different dentist said 'Infection,' Antibiotics prescribed. I chose to go to Lymington BUPA to dentist Tom Miller who my BUPA location staff described in glowing terms. Yesterday was called in to Lymington due to a sudden cancellation; Arrived for appt. : High anxiety – yes! Anxious to get rid of offending tooth and move on – YES. Shortly after meeting Dentist Tom Miller I knew this was Providence. His calm, caring manner and explanations and information about what would be done if I was comfortable with proceeding, gave me much confidence in him performing a procedure that I had been apprehensive about for so long - my first extraction (apart from 2 wisdoms, 60+ years before!). Bit of a shock when after the local anesth. had taken effect, Dentist Tom said he would put some pressure on the tooth, and within just a handful of minutes I heard the magical words ‘Thats it, all finished’. NEVER any discomfort or shaky nerves. I honestly had no idea – and my relief was huge. I believe Tom Miller was born to enter this profession. BUPA and we patients are truly fortunate. I am so grateful for his care and attention - and also for his friendly, happy assistant (so sorry did not remember her name). I now have a new confidence, new number and name under “Dentist, TOM MILLER, Lymington BUPA” I’ll be back for sure. THANK YOU Tom!

Fantastic experience: Tom Miller (Dentist) has provided excellent care & attention since I joined this practice nearly 4 years ago. Thoughtful, caring dentistry of a very high standard in my experience. A practitioner whose opinion/knowledge I have come to trust & depend on since sorting a root canal problem at the outset (a visit to another local practice had ominously advised a lot more work & provided a very costly estimate for the pleasure). Gill Cox-Tugwell (Hygienist) has also provided great service and solid advice. Always a friendly face, she immediately puts a patient at ease. She’s easily one of the best hygienists I have experienced over the years. Going to the dentist is now very expensive and can also be a fearful experience for some, so at least knowing you’re in good, professional hands is at least reassuring. Thanks to you all at BUPA, Lymington practice.

Fantastic experience: Tom and Dani replaced one of my fillings yesterday and they were great. Thank you! Tom Miller has been my dentist for the last three years and he has been monitoring one of my old fillings to see whether/when it would need to be replaced. When the time came, he explained the plan carefully to me and everything went well. It was slightly uncomfortable at times, but not painful. Fantastic experience: After a bad experience with a previous dentist,I hadn't been for a check up in 3 years. Indy is brilliant, very gentle and reassuring, ably assisted by Danny. They did a thorough check up. I had to have a small filling. I chose to go without an injection and it was totally painless. AIready booked my next check up. Kate the hygienist also did a fabulous job,and gave me lots of great advice. Definitely not leaving it another 3 years.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Indy and Dani this week, just for a check up. It was great to have a smiling and positive greeting, and Indy was very efficient as well as gentle - no wincing from me! She also saw that I had some edge chips on my front teeth, and immediately remedied that by smoothing out the edges. My front teeth look ten times better now! Indy explained in detail what the health of my teeth and gums were in at the moment, and what might be needed in the future. It was nice to get the information without being pressured to agree to procedures immediately. I also asked about teeth whitening, and got a very complete answer regarding the types of procedures, what they cost and what I might expect to gain from it by the end. Very happy with that. I have booked in with the hygenist - the only downside being that I will have to wait 3 weeks. Still it's good to hear that they are busy!

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency appointment the day before Good Friday. I saw Tom who was caring and very informative. He identified the cause of the toothache (cracked tooth and angry nerve) and the alternate treatments with ideas on procedure and efficacy. The tooth extraction was arranged for late the same day which meant volunteers to stay on after normal closing. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I was not in pain over the Bank holiday. Tom and the team (Beth and Dani) certainly eased my dentophobia so I thoroughly recommend them especially to anyone who is nervous.

Consequently I hate going to the dentist - regardless of the fact that, logically, I know it won’t hurt. Gill, the hygienist, is wonderful. Fantastic experience: Bupa Lymington is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. The reception staff are welcoming, friendly and organised, and the clinicians truly care about their patients. You’re never rushed through an appointment and everything is explained properly. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment with Tom Miller with really bad toothache whilst I was on holiday in Milford in Sea. I got an appointment the same day. Tom was able to complete an assessment , an X-Ray and an extraction for me in the one visit. I’m not a great one for dentist work but Tom was very re-assuring and extremely competent. Fantastic experience: Indy & Dani were exceptionally kind and professional today looking after my 15 year-old. He needed a filling and they were able to squeeze him in shortly after his checkup, which meant we didn’t have to come across from the Island on a separate trip. This was hugely appreciated. Indy looked after our son extremely kindly explaining everything she was doing step by step and for an anxious child, he was calm & totally fine! Dani was friendly & supportive all through too. Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with India, Dani and a very friendly member of Reception. Sensory difficulties make dentist visits a huge struggle but having all aspects of the appt (fillings) explained beforehand, and as we went, made the process very tolerable. India also provided solid dental health advice without being patronising. Can't say thank you enough to the team I saw today and I would the practice to recommend to anyone. Worth the money!

Fantastic experience: I had raging toothache and sought assistance from BUPA Dental Lymington as a "one off".The receptionist was so helpful, I was seen within 3 hours by Tom, far and away the nicest dentist I have ever seen, givenfull explanation of everything he did. He quickly diagnosed a cracked molar and pulpitis, expalined the options, and removed the tooth. Oral and written expanations of "post-op" care were given and I was on my way, reassured that I could be seen again if there were any complications. I would highly recommend this dental surgery.
