Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, having acquired gum disease, I needed extensive and deep cleaning of my teeth and gums. The results are excellent, no pain or discomfort, the disease fully under control and a happy smiling me. At all times I was treated with care and respect by everyone. My thanks especially to Mr Michael Paterson, Specialist in Periodontics, for the care and treatment I have received. An interesting experience and a lesson learnt with all of my questions answered.

Fantastic experience: Michael Paterson recently worked on my teeth & gums and carried out minor surgery to remove bacteria and infection. It was a totally pain free experience. Michael explained exactly what he planned to do, how long the surgery would take and how long I would take to recover. The work was carried out with meticulous attention to detail. The surgical procedure and the recovery was exactly as Michael had explained. I mean exactly ! A great experience with a talented clinician. Fantastic experience: I recently needed to have a small chip on an implant looked at. I was given two options to consider and I chose to have the sharp edge smoothed. This took just a second or two to do and the sharp edge was removed without trace. Great!

I was promptly seen by Jonathan Swarbrigg dental surgeon. Jonathan listened to me and understood my problems straight away. Fantastic experience: Having just completed a course of treatment over the last 12 months at Dental Excellence, I cannot recommend them highly enough. I was referred by my own dentist due to wear and breakages largely brought on by bruxism. Following a consultation with Stephen Taylor, he recommended some restorative treatment to readjust my bite and repair some of the damage. This included some composites to my front teeth, several crowns and an implant. Throughout my treatment, Stephen and his team (Becky) have been fantastic, explaining procedures in detail, always professional, patient and very skilled. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Ian Cross for root canal treatment for problematic tooth. The initial consultation was thorough and comprehensive with treatment and possible outcomes explained I was initially apprehensive having last experienced root canal treatment several years ago which proved to be lengthy and painful The process took place over two sessions and was not at all painful and I had no discomfort or pain subsequently The treatment was conducted in a calm, professional manner which enabled me to relax. Dr Cross and his nurse had obviously discussed the procedure which meant the nurse anticipated which instrument may be required at different stages and was available. The outcome was my tooth was saved. I cannot recommend this practice and it’s staff highly enough - excellence indeed

Fantastic experience: This is an eye opener as a dental clinic here in West Yorkshire. Excellent service, very impressive approach to consultation and care, and as a reasonably high tech surgeon myself, I am bowled over by the level of investment and the quality and cutting edge nature of the equipment and accommodation. There is an expert here in every aspect of dental and oral care and I have finally found what I have sought for a long time. Not cheap but you definitely get what you paid for here. Five stars from me.

Since then I’ve gained enormous confidence in the approach, treatments and results that have brought my smile back. My dentist, Stephen Taylor, takes time to ensure I’m calm and well informed about any treatment plans. He is considerate, kind and very skilled - and I always feel like we’re on the same side! I no longer have nightmares about crumbling teeth and my 6 monthly check ups are never fearful. Fantastic experience: I attended this practice after a recommendation - i was very conscious of my smile and it had really started to affect me socially. I had a consultation with Stephen Taylor after an initial chat with their treatment coordinator and a treatment plan was written for me, personalised scan, photos and a full explanation of what would happen and the costs fully explained. From start to finish the experience was brilliant and their customer centric approach was superb. I cannot recommend this practice enough i finally have a beautiful smile and my confidence has returned. Fantastic experience: My dentist, Ian Cross, is one of the best dentists I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled and always puts me at ease. His nurse, Holly, has a calm and kind manner.

Fantastic experience: I joined Dental Excellence on recommendation back in 2016 as a severely nervous patient (due to past traumatic experiences with dentists in my local area) but thanks to their patience, kindness, understanding and compassion my fears were near-enough obliterated and I eventually found I could attend my appointments by myself and without being prescribed medication from my doctor to calm my nerves. I had built up a wonderful rapport with my dentist David who knew how to handle my nerves and with every appointment I grew in confidence, but sadly he left the practice after some time and my anxiety started all over again as I was worried that my next dentist wouldn’t be as understanding. That was however until Dr Stephen Taylor (my current dentist) took over my dental care and I very quickly realised that I was worried about nothing. Stephen is a gentle, kind, patient and compassionate individual who possesses a real gift for putting you at ease. Not only is he incredibly skilled in his work but he’s also extremely personable and that means the world to a nervous patient like myself. The appointment I had booked to have minor dental treatment carried out (which I had got myself so incredibly worked up about) went as smoothly as could be and it was completely stress and pain free. Stephen talked me through every stage of my treatment and before I knew it he had finished. He truly is wonderful and is a huge asset to the practice. I cannot thank him enough for what he’s done for me and I must also give credit to the lovely dental nurse that assisted him. I’d also like to mention my adorable hygienist Lisa Smith who I’ve been seeing for quite some time now, and her lovely dental nurse who do a truly marvellous job when I visit for my 6-monthly scale and polish. I live on the coast of East Yorkshire and there is a reason I travel the 158 mile round trip to Dental Excellence Harewood instead of using a dental practice closer to home; they are without any doubt incomparable to other dental practices I have previously attended and are the only dental practice I will ever use again. From the second you walk in you are met with the friendly ladies at reception and a beautifully calm and comfortable waiting room. The building itself is beautifully picturesque and boasts stunning surroundings; it’s opulent and immaculate from top to bottom. It is genuinely a pleasure to visit and that’s something I honestly never thought I’d hear myself say - 10/10! Thank you!!!

Such a great quality of care, not only the dental work but she's really helped to take the fear out of it all. Lovely staff, excellent facilities. Competitive price.

Fantastic experience: I'm very happy with the work by done by Ian Cross and his nurse Holly to fix my chronic molar infection, with root canal treatment and subsequent crown. I was very impressed with the diagnostic capabilities they have at the practice (dental CT scanner). Within minutes of arriving, following a scan, i could clearly see the problem myself. I was also impressed with Ian's the attention to detail when fitting a crown. It now fits like a glove, and I can confidently use the RHS of my mouth, which I have not been able to for years.

Fantastic experience: I came in about a tooth I was worried about and I saw Stephen who is so so lovely, he reassured me about the tooth I was worried about, he also saw me as soon as he could. I needed a hygiene appointment so saw Georgina who is beyond lovely, really looked after me and throughout my appointment made sure I was okay at all times. The nurse she was with Holly one of the new girls was really lovely aswell. Charlotte did my scan for my retainers and she made sure I was okay throughout my whole appointment. All the staff here are lovely, I walked in and got nothing but smiles and welcomed really well by Donna and Karen. Eve is lovely, she offered me a drink and had a little chat, Chloe is always lovely when I come in and always has a chat with me and so does Charlotte. I am beyond happy with the service here and the staff should be really happy with themselves as they are just down to earth lovely people. I would definitely recommend this place as everything gets done at a fast pace.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Lisa for hygienist work to stop a recurrence of a periodontal issue and she's been amazing. My periodontist has been really impressed by how well Lisa has managed to keep my gums and teeth in top shape. And Holly, Lisa's dental assistant, is a total superstar! Totally recommend Lisa, Holly and the team.

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist in 15 years due to fear and anxiety surrounding it. The team at dental excellence have been amazing.
