Negative experience: Based on my experience, I was very dissatisfied with the services at Bath Dental Excellence. The quality of work is poor I had to redo all my work at Circus Dental Practice. I will never go back there.

Fantastic experience: Really excellent treatment from Dr Meharg at Dental Excellence. Very much prepared to go above and beyond to respond to our complex health issues after searching high and low amongst other dentists.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, identified the problem and immediately fixed it. Worth the price; before this, 4 other dentists from other practices had missed the issue despite my guiding them on what to look for, but this dentist (Petar Dzhurkov) was excellent. I will return to this practice in the future, if any further work is needed.

Dr Grahem Merharg and Natalie (dental nurse) provided exceptional professional dental care for four members of our family today. They were willing to inconvenience themselves in order to provide accommodations and were very flexible and supportive in order to meet our needs, which we greatly appreciate. Dr Merharg talked everything through in detail, nothing was too much trouble for them. Highly recommend.

I now have straight teeth and a lovely smile which I never thought was possible. Petar was diligent and worked with care and my experience was excellent. Negative experience: P.S. Further to my post below I have since had a very disappointing experience from this practice. I broke a tooth and wanted to see a dentist urgently (frustratingly mine was on Sabbatical for a year). I left a phone message but no-one called me back. Very concerned I rang again several hours later. The receptionist, with a casual air, told me it had been busy as 'the phone kept ringing'. She added that she couldn't fit me in with anyone as 2 dentists were on holiday and another on Sabbatical. She recommended another dentist. NOT what I expect for a so-called professional private dentist. I found another dentist (who seem excellent & efficient. Perhaps it was Fate). I've been a patient for many years & wouldn't go elsewhere. Graeme Meharg is sensitive & professional but I never feel pressured: the approach is a common sense one. I also enjoy seeing Jacqueline the hygienist. She is thorough & caring. I would add that the reception team are welcoming & friendly too; Helen in particular is so 'on the ball' & helpful! The practice is a gem & I'm so happy it's close to my home!

Fantastic experience: Graeme, my dentist, absolutely excelled himself. I had a tooth that we decided needed to come out and within 10 minutes it was done. I didnt feel the injection going in, not even a pinprick, nor did I feel the tooth come out. Graeme is extremely gentle as Ive said, when it comes to injections but when it comes to extractions he doesnt hesitate and I have to say there are many dentists who dont like extractions. If you ever need an extraction Graeme's your man. A stressless experience with a magnificent skillful dentist.

My NHS dentist couldn’t see me for three weeks, so I had to find another solution—and I’m so glad I did! The reception team at Bath Excellence were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and informative—5 stars to them! I was treated by Petar and his assistant, and it was hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Petar talked me through everything and made me feel completely calm. His assistant was also so gentle and reassuring. I didn’t feel a thing—even during nerve removal! No pain whatsoever. I can’t thank the team enough for their outstanding care. Highly recommended! Fantastic experience: Friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable staff resulted in an efficient, timely, comfortable and informative visit. This resulted in my having no hesitation in moving my care to this surgery and feeling confident in the treatment I'd receive in future. Especially important in this decision was that there was a huge opportunity to try and convince me of the need for a treatment which would cost me a lot, £000s! Instead I got honest, simple to understand information and impartial advice. I can't think of a higher recommendation!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Dental Excellence. I am a nervous patient when visiting the dentist. Grahem was very kind and patient, he explained what he was doing clearly so that I was aware of what was happening each step of the way. I was really lucky as this was an emergency appointment. The Receptionist was also very friendly. I have already recommended the surgery to my husband as our very lovely dentist is in Cirencester which is quite a long journey to make. So to find someone in Bath who I feel comfortable with is incredibly reassuring.

Fantastic experience: I had awful toothache, my wisdom tooth was coming through and it was causing a very sore cheek and jaw. Graham managed to fit me in asap and was very reassuring and knowledgable! I went thinking the worse and the solution was to shave part of the wisdom tooth poking into my cheek/gum and it solved my issue! As always Graham and Natalie are kind and professional, they always cater to my needs and are very considerate and friendly. I am very blessed to have such kind professionals looking after my oral health! If I ever have a problem with my oral health I feel very relaxed as I know I am in the best and safest hands :)! Fantastic experience: Had toothache for a week not able to get in a dentist anywere had a call from Helen the receptionist to say they had an emergency appointment so i took it haven been to he dentis for years as I have a phobia of them. I was treated by Peter and his assistant Natalie i had xray first then the gave me the choice of root canal or tooth extraction I choose to have the tooth out. I can't thank them both enough for the way they kept me calm throughout my experience it want pleasant but I felt comfortable in their care. Will definitely return. Fantastic experience: I've had an ongoing problem over the last few months with a tooth involving a very nasty abscess and root canal treatment and was a little nervous and fed up with it to be honest, but Grahem and Julie took great care of me and I'm 'almost' looking forward to returning for the final phase of my treatment at the end of October! Fantastic experience: I cannot rate this Practice highly enough especially as, in addition to my regular dental care , I have needed specialist care for my gums. Ines is superb, not only as an outstanding practitioner but also, as a wonderful, caring Periodontist who has given me real support through not the most pleasant experiences. Her nurse, Karen too, has a wonderful caring attitude which instilled confidence and put me at ease. They make an excellent team. I consider myself fortunate that Ines has looked after me and given such excellent treatment and care. My more routine dental care with Ed is always excellent too. He gives clear explanations of what treatment he is doing and why , which I find reassuring. I am very pleased that I have a dentist of such high calibre. Kate and Natalie have also given me such excellent care . They are friendly and welcoming and I cannot bear to think about what would have happened to my dental health had I not found this Dental Practice when I moved to Bath three years ago.

Fantastic experience: Natalie and Kate are the dynamic duo of the hygienist world, they are always full of the joys of spring and their sunny natures do a marvellous job of distracting you from any anxiety that you may be considering. Sometimes I'm certain they forget there's a patient in the chair as they lose themselves in their discussions about their various social adventures. Best of all both awesome Kate and cool Natalie are always thorough and conscientious irrespective of if you're their first or last appointment of the day.

He explained everything before the treatment, ensured I was completely pain-free during the procedure and completely put me at ease with his very kind, caring and considerate manner. Subsequent visits - I have recently had to have a tooth extracted and a root canal treatment in the space of a few weeks. This would normally have been a time fraught with nervous anticipation and a sense of doom and gloom. But, with Ed Boursin's informative, calm manner and gentle care, combined with his superior skill, all of the treatment was painless and something of a non-event. He is a magician and I would recommend him to everyone.

Fantastic experience: i wasn't the best customer when it comes to dentists, but i knew i needed help and it can't wait any longer. From day one Ed and the whole team were fantastic, their reassurance and customer care was excellent.

Negative experience: They have more patients than they can cope with. You discover this only after you sign up for treatment. For instance, 8 January my morning hygienist appointment was cancelled by them at short notice. OK sometimes happens. The next morning appointment they could offer was 6 weeks from then. It's that sort of place.
