He is very thorough and explains in great detail any issues. The building itself doesn’t feel like your typical dentist and is nice with a calming atmosphere.

The reception is always a warm greeting and rarely have I had to wait long. Dr. Will is one of the best dentists I have seen, his approach is friendly seems to remember all my family and is always interested to hear what I have to say. The dentistry has been excellent with no complications or complaints.

Fantastic experience: Today was our first experience at Watton oral surgery clinic. From the moment we stepped inside, to the moment we left, the service and staff were exceptional. We went in for a consultation, but the dr had a cancellation, so after he had examined my daughter he offered to do the procedure there and then. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and put my worried daughter’s mind at rest throughout her numbing stages and procedure. Cannot recommend him enough, and the staff on the reception desk were super friendly and helpful. Fantastic place!

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this dental practice enough. From the moment I arrived, the environment felt calm and reassuring, which makes such a difference when you’re nervous. The staff are professional, friendly, and very well informed. Everyone has a genuinely lovely manner and takes the time to explain what’s happening, which really put me at ease. I had a wisdom tooth removed and yes you do have injections, but honestly you barely feel them. The extraction itself was absolutely fine and over very quickly. A genuinely positive experience from start to finish. Thank you to the whole team.

Positive experience: Reception staff were absolutely brilliant, made me feel comfortable and at ease, the actual dentist was quite dismissive and didn’t explain much nor provide much comfort regarding the treatment and I left feeling dissatisfied with the standard of care displayed by him, however the girls in the reception were great and did their best in providing a great service!

Fantastic experience: I had an upper wisdom tooth removed here and was really worried ahead of the procedure. I literally had a panic attack in the car driving there. The surgeon was a Dr Shah and she was hands down the best dentist I’ve ever seen in my life. The whole thing was painless (not even the injections hurt), and over in minutes. I was shocked in a very good way, by quick it was. If you need your wisdom teeth out, try and get an appointment here. They make a very unpleasant process a lot easier.

Negative experience: I was referred by my private insurance company for tooth extraction. The doctor does not care for his customers. Felt like I participated in a chainsaw massacre. The doctor was rude and said he won’t do anything even when I said that I could feel the drilling. I could have died. I left then and there.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! Referred here for a tooth extraction which i had never had before so was quite nervous. As soon as i walked in, felt at ease, place was lovely and clean, the reception staff were very welcoming. Local anaesthetic was administered and instantly i felt woozy and like i was about to faint, the dentist noticed this before i had a chance to say anything and made sure i was comfortable and better before talking me through everything and reassuring me. Procedure went fine, everything was explained very well. Couldn’t fault at all. Would 100% recommend; especially to those nervous about dentists etc.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Watton Place Dental Clinic by my own dentist to have a back molar tooth removed. I was nervous and expecting a bloodbath lol but there honestly wasn't anything to worry about. I never felt a thing not even the injection to numb the area. Doctor Chauhan carried out the extraction and had a lovely calming manner. The dental practice had a relaxing calming feeling and smelt of lemongrass. All the staff were lovely too very polite, friendly and very professional. Thank you all for your outstanding care .... top class

Fantastic experience: I was seen by Dr. R. Chauhan for a tooth extraction. This was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Currently day 2 recovery and I’ve not experienced any swelling or pain. The ladies who greeted me at the desk, assisted the dr and did my X-ray are just as lovely. It was such a peaceful atmosphere so grateful

Fantastic experience: I am really happy and grateful to have had my dental surgery with Dr. R. Chauhan. I was scheduled for a tooth extraction ( my tooth was really damaged and was told it will be a complicated surgery)Dr. Chauhan is greatly skilled and knows what he is doing. I felt like everything went quickly and was feeling much better in no time. Despite being extremely scared of what could happen , I was relieved that it went smoothly thanks to him!

Negative experience: VERY DISSATISFIED. Arrived at 9am for my appointment. Watched the dentist arrive at 9:10am in normal clothes. While I waited for him to get ready for work. Bear in mind this dentist opens at 8:30. I witnessed a dog! Yes a dog! walking through the waiting area and main hall while surgery room doors where open! Sterile environment? There is no tables or anywhere to put a drink in the waiting rooms. Once the dentist had settled himself in, (Also the owner mind you) (DR RCHAUHAN) he called me into my appointment 20 mins late. Once in the chair he explained very little with no bedside manner. I’m here for a wisdom tooth extraction so he is of course giving me injections. Upon receiving the first injection I reacted “OBVIOUSLY!” To the needle being inserted into my palet. (Gums) to which he said he would have to abort the procedure if I’m not compliant!??? Which I found to be extremely unprofessional. (You try not react when being stabbed in the mouth) after this he sent me to waiting room and told me I’m purely waiting for the injections to work and it will be 10 mins. So I wait 10. I wait 15. I wait 20 mins before he goes into the room with the patient that is booked in after me!? And then proceed to leave me for another 10 mins making it about 30 mins he left me there after my initial injection! With a promise of 10 mins! So at this point I’m fuming my mouth is numb I’m anxious enough as it is due to it being a wisdom tooth extraction and I’m not the bravest person in the world. So at this point I’ve asked the receptionist if I can make a complaint and I must say the receptionist staff are very helpful. They explained the best way to go about it and suggested I cancel treatment which I did. So now I’m sitting here for the next few hours with a numb face for no reason and I have to admit I am angry! the dentist/owner needs to be sat down and explained. Badly laid out dentistry practice. Unsterile environment. Doesn’t explain anything to patients. I understand I’m a young gentlemen that’s receiving benefits but does that mean I’m not entitled to correct and fair treatment? I felt like a massive inconvenience for this late to work dentist. 1000% DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Negative experience: very unprofessional. I felt like an inconvenience to the dentist as I was given 2 injections of anaesthetic and told to wait why he booked his flights for a holiday that me being there interrupted. After waiting over half an hour to be seen again the anaesthetic had worn off. He offered to do it again and then make me wait why squeezing in further patients. I refused to be injected again for it just to wear off again. This is not good practice. He was very blasé about the whole thing. He was very rude when I said I didn’t want the tooth removed anymore as he was messing me about. He then chucked the paper work at the receptionist and told her to make me sign this form and he will be back later to complete the rest. Again showing disregard to others. I have had teeth taken out in the past at other practaces and have never been treated this way. I find this very concerning and I will now have to go somewhere else to get this resolved.

The building itself is lovely, clean and calming, the receptionists are very friendly and the dentist herself was exceptional. Had my tooth out very quickly, was patient with me and empathetic that I was nervous. Would be a place I would consider going private for.

The reason been that my late Mother always said that "if you've got nothing nice to say then best not say anything at all". So for once I'm going to take my Mums advice and say nothing. Negative experience: Horrific I was left to long over half hour after the local anaesthetic because they miss booked somebody else's and then treated them before me which meant I felt the tooth being pulled and even worse I could feel the stitches being put in and the friction burning from the cord as it was pulled through my gums. I did point out on the first pull of the tooth I could feel it but I was told I can't put any more in and its to late .And after less than one hour after leaving the clinic I could fully feel my lips which which would suggest that not enough anaesthetic was used in the first place this whole procedure has left me deeply traumatised and I'm sorry to say I vomited in the car park as I got in my car which sadly my 5 year old daughter and my wife witnessed it. It was a very distressing day all round.

Fantastic experience: I had my impacted molar extracted and I was surprised how quickly it was done, probably just 5 minutes. The waiting time was actually longer than the surgery itself. The procedure was totally painless even when the local anaesthetic was injected. Whole experience was a pleasure and I would totally recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: By far, the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Pictures of Thailand on the wall, amazing views of the countryside from the dentist chair, relaxing music and the staff are really helpful and explain everything.

Negative experience: Incredibly rude, i just had a horrible and embarrassing experience at this place. I went for my hygienist appointment and the hygienist was a really young person, and not the one I usually have. I was thinking I didn't feel absolutely comfortable with a new, and very young hygienist. -I think this should be understood, because they will be putting a drill and a rod into your mouth. The hygienist said to me - if you want to change hygienist please go and talk to reception I went to the reception, and before I even got a chance to speak, the two ladies at reception started to ask me why I didn't want to use the services of the original hygienist -Why they find it necessary to ask me this is ridiculous and I replied "I just don't" Then the owner came out from his office and said to me in front of everyone- why don't you want to use her? I replied again, "I just don't, please can I just have my money back" -I don't understand why I should explain myself I’m not a child, and I’m not at school. -He didn't ask me, what’s the problem here, or how can I help you? After this, the owner said to me "I can’t do it now (give you your money back) , you'll get it back later, now off you go" I’m not a child, I’m 50 years old The lack of respect is really upsetting. I wasn't exactly being a difficult customer I’m just not a massive fan of going to the hygienist and wanted to feel comfortable So unbelievably rude please avoid this place

Negative experience: Can't get them to answer the phone no matter what time of the day delivery of prescriptions delayed when ordered in specified time had to actually remind gp what medication/dose i was taking had to ask receptionist to take prescription through to pharmacy because couldn't get through to them then the attitude was rude doctor phoned me to reduce meds and said he would sort it all with the pharmacy i assume the change of the order of medication i made and the delivery still trying to get hold of them to check as i haven't received my order i am running out fast and need my medication in my personal opinion i have never known a surgery like it untill i moved i was very happy with Dolphin House Surgery in Ware Herts and wish i could have stayed there or go back can watton place please sort themselves out if they are overstretched simple get more staff to accommodate patients NOT HAPPY stressed enough as it is without chasing gps' surgery of all places!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had my tooth removed at this dental practice and was treated by Dr Chauhan. He knew his job, he did it so effortlessly and removed the tooth in minutes. Yes the waiting time was longer than the treatment. I highly recommend Dr Chauhan.

Positive experience: The treatment on the day was professionally handled, all staff polite and reassuring. My only concern is the post aftercare; having had a wisdom tooth out I was encouraged to rinse the next day with salt water and use mouthwash which resulted in a dry socket which has given a lot of pain for a week.
