Fantastic experience: Been with this dental practice for 20 years plus now. Danielle today started my crown and she's fantastic at her job. Explains everything concisely, so you understand what is happening and also very funny, which makes you feel at ease. With her assistant Julie who is also very friendly, they make an excellent team. It makes going to the dentist, ironically a pleasure. That's one thing that I never thought I'd ever say in my life! Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I have always been terrified of going to a dentist and I am now 77 years old. Having not been to a dentist for many years and needing urgent dental attention I was recommended to see Alex. He immediately put me at ease and I needed 3 extractions and then fitting for partial denture. I didn't feel nervous at all!!. The temporary denture has been great and I have an upcoming appointment very soon to have my permanent partial denture fitted. All staff are lovely especially young dental nurse Lily who also put me at ease. I highly recommend Thornhedge Dental Surgery.

Positive experience: Never been brilliant at anything but standard treatment but adequate, just about. Just told to see hygienist is sixty pounds because I also have implants. A bit naughty in my opinion. That's not what the NHS should be about.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been coming here as a family and honestly couldn’t be happier. Mike is fantastic with our little girl, he’s so patient, kind and makes her feel at ease. The whole team are lovely and welcoming, which makes such a difference. Would absolutely recommend!

Negative experience: Very badly fitting crown, way too big, colour looked awful next to other teeth, bite was way off, and to top it all, neighbouring teeth have started to shift!!

Negative experience: Shocking service, my mother was a patient and she had not been due to suffering a major stroke, she is still not fully recovered and they wouldn’t see her to help her with an abcess.

Fantastic experience: Had to have some treatment for a crown. Went to see Dr Mike and he was amazing, explained all the options, did an amazing job. Tooth looks incredible! 10/10 would highly recommend

Negative experience: If i could give this dentist 0 stars believe me i would, my auntie came in to get a crown fitted after previously having multiple crowns and the dentist Mike has ruined her smile by fitting a large crown that is yellow and hasn’t been fitted correctly to the standards it should be, the crown is too big, matte coloured and block shaped. The crown procedure that should take longer than 10 minutes was not and he didn’t have the crown completely made when we arrived and proceeded to make the crown whilst we was sat there. This dentist is terrible.

Fantastic experience: I lost a filling early this afternoon and noticed some slight discomfort. I rang Thornhedge and Molly the receptionist was most polite and helpful and invited me down to the surgery immediately. Danielle was waiting to help me and soon discovered the tooth had actually broken in half. The tooth was removed without any fuss, no pain whatsoever and I was reassured by Danielle throughout the procedure. I am very appreciative of everyone who helped me today and both excellent dentistry and professionalism was very apparent. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Visited here today with my 2 girls for an initial check up The dentist fella and lady were absolutely wonderful one of my girls has asd and severe social anxiety , she wouldn't sit in the chair , so he went to her and checked her teeth over for her , he was so kind and patient with her it was an absolute pleasure , she came out happy and calm highly recommend This dentist surgery thank you

Fantastic experience: After experiencing some bad dental work, I decided to change dentists and switched to Thornbedge. I won't go anywhere else now. The staff are friendly, and the dentists are highly skilled. They take the time to explain everything, making sure I understand my treatment options. The clinic is clean and welcoming, which really helps ease any nerves. I had some complex dental work done, and they handled it with professionalism and care. It's great to have found a dental practice I can trust. Highly recommend Thornbedge for anyone seeking top-notch dental care.

Negative experience: I have been with this dentist for 40 yrs, only to find our they taken me off their books because I havnt been for a good while. But my mum phoned up as she hasn't been for 4 yrs and got an appointment no problem. This is the only dentist I have ever used and as I said been with them for 40yrs. So would like to know why they took me of and not my mum

Fantastic experience: An all round fabulous experience from the warm friendly welcome at the front desk to the dental nurses who put me at ease to the excellent professional treatments performed by Mike and Danni. Mike did my Envisalign and Danni the composite bonding . I’m delighted with the results which have exceeded my expectations and wish I’d done it years ago. Negative experience: Dr Stephen Wright I remember his name and he had white hair, he was a senior dentist after speaking to my dentist today they have explained my fear for dentists will have come from his mal treatment of me. His attitude towards me was abusive and told me to “get out of my room” and “shut up” this was over six years ago having being to the dentist in six years I know now why I have a fear of dental practices because of Stephen Wright.

Negative experience: Refused my child an appointment. Wouldn’t even let me speak. Receptionist rude and clearly above herself.

Fantastic experience: I recently had composite edge bonding on 2 of my teeth done by Dr Sam Cope. I am really pleased with the results and with how natural it looks. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: By far the easiest visit to the dentist I’ve ever had! Everyone was very welcoming and the service was amazing. I had a cracked tooth removed that I had left for years, I was in the chair no longer than 2 minutes and all done. Was very grateful and would highly recommended.

Negative experience: Shocking I’ve been with this dentist many years even know there services weren’t upto standards, botched crowns , botched bonding the last owner was a family friend,,I rang for an emergency appointment after having a new baby who’s been seriously ill and dealing with a death due cancer in the family, I missed 2 appointments and am sure I cancelled it but she says I rang after the appointment date,,pretty strange really !!! To be told you carnt make anymore appointment!! And even know the dates where two days after my premature baby and the death of my father!! They say oh we took that into consideration but your still out !!!! Shame on you after 35 years !!! New owners shocking money grabbers told no nhs patients!!
